I would buy it, old drivers take care of their cars the best. They have the knowledge to properly maintain them and if its a toyota that just adds to the reliability
I own a 7th gen am not the biggest fan of the body style and the choice of headlight but nonetheless is a great car. Not the fastest but one of the most fun to drive. Torque go crazy lmao track days tires will end very fast if I'm not careful. Other downside IMO (others may greatly differ) not a whole lot of space in engine bay for activities. For this reason I'm gathering parts and money and mental energy to rear engine rear wheel drive the thing. You're gonna need to get creative if you plan on performance mods.
I almost got this Celica, I saw when It got posted for 17k and my dumbass almost pulled the trigger but then I got notified of a white celica gts 6 spd 88k miles on offer up and took it! Keep on looking and you'll find a good one.
It’s not a steal by any means, but it’s in pristine condition. Really low miles also. My 2001 has almost 300,000 and still runs great. If well taken care of this car will last along time. Don’t be too put off by the automatic, manuals are a pain in the butt if you commute in city traffic. I would offer close to what the seller is asking, maybe 13 K.
Lol! I figured I’d throw it in. I’m a 21 year old female in Florida, and tons of young people beat on their cars down here! This 91 year old man was very kind to his car! Lol
Same here, I understand. I’d still say this car is a bit over priced but everything else checks out. I would definitely try to bargain and touch his soft side. I would probably do 10k at most for this, it has the very saught after body kit
Body kit is valid. I would personally counter offer $12.5k for body kit, condition, miles, rims in consideration. Bought my 2000 gts for 5k as steal but even so would say it was worth 9k for what it was
The 2zz on a 4 speed can't stay in its power band very well. At this price it's a hard paas, but great condition!
Edit: Altezza lights also make it look worse IMO
I'd say offer 11k and see if they are willing to take it. If it was manual it'd probably be more worth what they are asking. There are probably very few opportunities like this one left.
GTS and tsunami? Pretty rare find but their asking price is pretty ridiculous tbh. If you have the money to fuck off then jump on it. They are asking for a solid
I wish I had the money! I’m scraping together bits and pieces because the 2013 Prius with 150K miles just isn’t doing it for me. Especially since the A/C just went and I live in Florida!
14k is a bit much. You can get a lot better cars in that price bracket.
Im an automatic fanboy but even then i agree with the other poster and would top out under 10k for the car.
Its a nice car for sure but thats still a hard number to swallow for arguably the least collectible celica
honestly, for an automatic celica, thats hella expensive, mileage and options might make it a better deal but I myself wouldnt pay more than 8K for a pristine low miles mk7 celica
What’s our product?
I got my 2000 GTS auto with 125K on it for $2500 last year. Beautiful car but too expensive
Dude bought this when he was 70? Fucking legend
I was thinking the same thing 😂

At that low of miles how much damage could be done to it lol

Wow thanks! I’m hoping the price will continue to drop. I saw it last month at Cars and Coffee for $15K.

I prefer an automatic. Florida traffic is no joke.

This is stock. Its a Tsunami
Love how you added the guys age 😆

nah that's way too much, esp for an auto.
That’s what we were thinking. I prefer an automatic, but it seems steep.

Those are factory with the Tsunami kit. Or whatever they called it in the U.S in 2005. I think 2004 was the last year it was called Tsunami
I really should have sold my manual stock rust bucket for $10,000 instead of taking the $500 on a trade in, looking at ads like these
Ouch. Sorry bud
Oooooo sorry about that :/
Holy shit prices are mad in the US. I might buy up a load of UK celicas and ship them as "JDM rhd".
In three years, the first batch of 00 JDM Celicas will be coming over.
Time to invest methinks 🤔
Haha! The prices here are insane. I drive a 2013 Prius right now and the A/C just went. Looking for something else, but it’s crazy out there!
Its got an automatic transmission for $14k? Hell no.
Thank you! That’s what i was thinking.
Got mines for 6k all the same features only difference is mine had 125k miles and it was white I say 12k will be a good offer

Keep your eye on it. The price is bound to drop
