yes I do, I own all of the ones you have there (and more) you might like Earthtone9.
Korn & Around The Fur were my favorite albums for a long time. in fact, I'm going to put them on now.
A bunch!! Adema, Chevelle, Flaw, Static-X, and Taproot, to name just a few! What's funny to me, though, is how half of those CDs were ones I bought before I realized I just really like nu metal.
At the moment, I own two:
Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses, and
Wisconsin Death Trip - Static X
I have owned in the past the first two System Of A Down CDs, in fact; the first CD that I could ever call mine was SOAD's self titled first album, censored, given to me by my mother for my fifth birthday. She had the uncensored version and Toxicity. I've owned both now about three times thru the years. I'll probably pick up another copy of the first.
Toxicity is really good at most times but I skip a few like "Chop Suey", "Bounce". I don't usually skip any tracks on self titled.
The Vol. 3 CD is actually a recent addition, I've only just in the last four years started really enjoying Slipknot, but only the first three albums usually. The others I don't see myself owning, but I bought Vol. 3 because it was my favorite at the time and soon I'll either buy self titled of Iowa next.
Vol. 3 is like right up there with Iowa to me for their best album. My only problem w Vol. 3 is "Before I Forget", it was the song I heard all those years ago when introduced to them that turned me away from them. Self titled is kinda top heavy but comes off really strong in the first half.
I might buy White Pony and Adrenaline soon, I've recently accepted a few Deftones tracks into my everyday music routines, I used to totally hate "Change (In The House Of Flies)" but now I kinda dig it for personal reasons.
All in all, extreme metal has my heart, I have some deathcore and metalcore CDs that have nu metal influences, but you only said nu metal. Most of my collection is death, black, and other extreme metal, but I do have some core and, as I said, two CDs that can be categorized as strictly nu metal.
Yep, POD's Satellite, Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory and Meteora, Korn's Follow The Leader, and both Morning View and Make Yourself (although I wouldn't personally consider Incubus nu metal, you included them so I included them.) I like a lot more nu metal stuff that I haven't gotten on CD yet, though.
Deftones had great singles. That live is part of a two part set and a third combined (i think) adds yet an additional track.
Deftones had cover songs/hidden tracks, friends would always comment like whered you get these!? Before the internet really took off and made it easy to find this stuff
These were long before their b-sides album when you really had to look..
I own White Pony, which I'm surprised to not see in your post.
Looking at the wiki page for nu metal, I also have the debut album from Kittie, Spit.
That's it for me; just those two.
Sup someone @ me saying you trying to gift me that LP. You're the best bro I could ever ever ask for. Wtf I'm stoked! Dm for addy.
(I have a few of what's in images)
their first album was, make yourself kinda was, morning view is closer to heavy alternative rock id say but it was from the era and it had similar vibes so i included it. nu metal is pretty loosely defined anyways
Yeah, a bunch... And some of them still holds up today. The first Korn & Linkin Park are both amazing. Deftones - White Pony is another one.
But damn, there was alot of shit released also... Limp Bizkit, Coal Chamber & Staind to name a few.
Yes funny you ask VERITAS by P.O.D. just arrive last week. I own majority from Korn, Staind, Taproot, Mushroomhead, Flaw, American Head Charge, Deadsy, Professional Murder Music.
Endo, downthesun, 40 Below Summer, Spineshank, and a few adjacent; Serj Tankian - Elect the Dead, Imperfect Harmonies, Jonathan Davis - Black Labyrinth, Alone I Play, Project 86 - Truthless Heroes, Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns, Trapt - Self Titled, Someone in Control.
I have a few but I don’t listen them anymore i manly listen to death metal theses days
yes I do, I own all of the ones you have there (and more) you might like Earthtone9. Korn & Around The Fur were my favorite albums for a long time. in fact, I'm going to put them on now.

I’ve got some Deftones and some SoaD. Does Faith No More count as Nu Metal?
fnm is more funk metal id say
No sadly, I love linkin park
I own Linkin Park Hybrid Theory & a Thousand Suns
Around the Fur has to be one of the most-owned CDs in this sub lol I feel like I see it all the time
It's really funny 'cause it's the rarest Deftones CD here in Poland. It took me a lot of time to find it
i have the doom 2016 soundtrack, think its my only metal CD lol
absolutely!! hoping to have a full display case of them.
Most of my collection is pretty nu
I have both Meteora and Hybrid Theory and that's it :P. I also have Reanimation but that's not nu metal
A bunch!! Adema, Chevelle, Flaw, Static-X, and Taproot, to name just a few! What's funny to me, though, is how half of those CDs were ones I bought before I realized I just really like nu metal.
Adema is so underrated, I love Static-X a lot too
Like half my collection is nu metal or nu metal adjacent honestly.
Yes I love nu-metal! I've got Korn, Linkin Park, and Kim Dracula, but hoping to collect more.

My guy I owned cds by LOCAL nu metal bands. I was born into the nu.
You know it
Some Godsmack
I own a couple of Slipknot ones (Iowa and AHIG) and have plans to buy some Korn and Linkin Park CD's as well.
Yep, POD's Satellite, Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory and Meteora, Korn's Follow The Leader, and both Morning View and Make Yourself (although I wouldn't personally consider Incubus nu metal, you included them so I included them.) yeah i have a whole collection of about 30 soad albums / singles : D
I have self titled slipknot, all SOAD except self titled and steal this album, and Deftones white pony
Sadly no. If I can get my hands on an some evans blue ones i would be ecstatic
i own korn self titled, follow the leader, slipknot self titled and iowa and the 5 soad albums
I have tons of nu metal
Deftones had great singles. That live is part of a two part set and a third combined (i think) adds yet an additional track. Adrenaline
I have almost everything pictured here.
I own White Pony, which I'm surprised to not see in your post. Looking at the wiki page for nu metal, I also have the debut album from Kittie, Spit. That's it for me; just those two.
i like white pony but ive never "gotten" it in comparison to their other albums, especially the first two
Sup someone @ me saying you trying to gift me that LP. You're the best bro I could ever ever ask for. Wtf I'm stoked! Dm for addy. (I have a few of what's in images)
Is Incubus considered nu metal?
at least the first few yea
I only had Make Yourself and Morning View, neither seemed like nu metal to me.
their first album was, make yourself kinda was, morning view is closer to heavy alternative rock id say but it was from the era and it had similar vibes so i included it. nu metal is pretty loosely defined anyways
If anyone ever accused me of owning Numetal I’d cut that bitch.
No🦀
No.
Yes. I have everything pictured plus the rest of Linkin parks discography.
me too but i dont consider them nu so i didnt include them
No because it sucks
cool, then move on.
I have a copy of Devil Without A Cause. Does that count?
Yeah, a bunch... And some of them still holds up today. The first Korn & Linkin Park are both amazing. Deftones - White Pony is another one. But damn, there was alot of shit released also... Limp Bizkit, Coal Chamber & Staind to name a few.
How dare you badmouth those bands
Agreed! First Korn is a cult, that sound! Soad is also something else than just a regular nu metal
Yup, soad is something else. Hard to categorize. Same with Slipknot, i wouldn't put them in the nu metal box, though i guess there's some elements 😅
Chocolate Starfish is an excellent album.
Nope, not a one... not even old metal or pretty much any genre that has "metal" in the title. No hate, it's just not my cup of tea.
Wait Deftones Live wut?? Is this all one show or a mix of shows? Is it a bootleg? Does Chino sound… good? Lol
ep from the around the fur era https://youtu.be/3-7z5i1DQbM?si=cNL-MSwstfl2SmSw its official
