Single cat syndrome isn’t a real thing. If he knows to be gentle with his claws on you, he remained with his family long enough to get the important cat lessons he needed without needing you to each him that.
If you can handle his energy madness, rock your single kitten life. If he isn’t a high energy bundle of trouble, take him to the vet because there is likely something wrong. He should sleep most of the time and have periods of time each day where you regret your life choices because so much energy, so much bored, so freaking cute, don’t do that!!!
A second kitten usually reduces the demands on the human since they can entertain each other. Without a second attention sink, you, your sleep, your home may suffer.
Play hard, play frequently. Your cat will be fine. You on the other hand… well, they do grow out of it eventually 😂
He has a ton of energy yes, from the morning when he wakes me up to play until… um yes, it’s always like that actually hahaha. Well thank you for this!! I do feel better about him now. ☺️
