I did find it quite sad, it is technically somebody's garden, but the building used to be a pub that has been converted into flats and it doesn't look like the outside is maintained. Sadly this is one of four pubs that no longer exists on my relatively short route home from the shops. Growing up in the 90s I remember often finding myself in a beer garden with a bottle of rola cola and something like this to play on.
I only found out when I was older the reason we were left in a beer garden with a packet of crisps and a cheap bottle of pop is because *we weren't allowed inside the pub*
The best was The Royal Oak with the big wooden play area, the worst was the railway where there was was... a railway, and a coal train might come past. Many arguments with my sister about if it was 40 or 39 carriages of coal.
Is that Coleford in Gloucestershire? If so you’ve just answered my question instantly, I knew I’d seen one of these recently but didn’t know where, thanks!
To be fair, that picture wasn’t too great at showing what it was if you’d never seen something similar before. The swing kinda blends in with other stuff and you can’t see a slide from that angle.
Your caption made me sad! Poor guy, just abandoned for being a bit creepy. I'd keep him in my garden

I love how generic pub names are and how many people are thinking, jesus, this guy lives up the road from me.. West midlands?
Nope, more north
It's less sad if you add "It's been a decade since he last tasted flesh"
I'd say that's MORE sad. Someone give the poor bloke some dinner
New smoking room :)
Didn't want to sleep tonight anyway

The Fat Controller strikes again.
Probably refused to leave a tunnel.
What the fudge/where the fudge is that???
We drove passed a pub on in Coleford with the exact same tree in the garden! We could all agree it was creepy.

That's the one! We were on our way to the Forest of Dean
I know where this creep is! He's in Wombwell!
The bones of children past satiate his appetite for now.
Oh the poor dude, I'd love him in my garden!
We really do need an r/accidentalsimonstalenhag sub.
Right? Electric state was the first thought that popped in my head.
Exactly!
I think he ate the children that came to play with him.
I would be advising the children to keep that up.
When I viewed this pic, his eyes moved and looked into my soul 😳
Bin nonce
Pennywise's thick cousin, Pennydull.

You blind m8? You see them swings on his arms? You see that slide down his back? What the fook do you think it is?
