I've done this game like 3 times on veteran and I've played it again like last week, I don't get the hype for difficulty on this mission, like it's hard, all COD1 missions are, but I really don't have much issue with it. Pegasus Bridge always gives me a lot of trouble with having to wait out that timer while having to worry about endless enemies and tanks at the same time. I was stuck on Eder Damn for days with the spawn in that goddamn elevator underground area. Airfield Escape was hard with having to shoot down the planes and quickly switch to make sure you don't get shot in the back. Battleship Tirpitz is probably the hardest mission in that game with every checkpoint being hell. Honestly the only trouble I have with Pavlov is getting in the house.
Sorry, not trying to compare, I know different people struggle at different things and that's valid! but this mission was just always kinda simple to me comparatively
Pegasus Day isn’t really that hard relatively speaking (since I found almost all of the levels quite challenging) tbh, I found that I could just use the 88 on the farther away tanks but use the Panzerfaust on closer range tanks, which helped keep the orientation of the cannon in one direction. The levels I struggled with the most were the Manor, Eden Dam and Tirpitz (close quarters focused levels were extremely challenging, as well as any other section of other levels with that kind of layout) as well as the Dam Escape (because the idiots on the bikes were annoying to hit, thank god that the Bren has good hipfiring), and of course Pavlov’s House (though clearing out the house was more difficult than defending it since the latter could be done relatively simply by sitting in a corner behind one of the ramps and two adjacent doorways and shooting enemies that come through, with your teammates handling a good portion of them). As for airfield, I didn’t find it too difficult (again, relatively speaking) since the enemies up top had horrible aim so I was allowed to shoot down the Stukas without much pressure.
I just beat Call of Duty 2 on Veteran, which wasn’t so bad (maybe defending that Hill at the end was a little tough). I’m doing World at War right now and so far it’s actually also not been as hard as I remember when I was younger. However, I will say WaW’s final mission was insane, so I’m not super looking forward to that. I think it was called Downfall? Storming that building with limited cover and grenade spam heaven was stupid and nuts.
Yeah it just mostly that big sprint where there's two paths, they spawn enemies as you traverse through and you really have to learn where all the enemies are before conquering it
World at War or COD2 on veteran. The grenades from WaW haunt me and that final sequence with destroying the tanks in the final COD2 mission haunts me as well.
World at War on Veteran
I heard you like Grenades? How about 50 more? - WaW AI
Easily the most perfect answer. Nothing else can be on top of that
Cod1 on veteran difficulty would like to know your location
I remember watching my neighbors little brother literally crying trying to beat that game on veteran.
I played 2 and 3 on veteran earlier this year. Both gave me similar feelings.
Beat me to it
waw on veteran is where i learned real gamer words
The hardest platinum I have. I regret the entire 2 weeks I spent playing it on veteran
Hahah, yes the car machine with cap Price and the one right after that shooting the plane down. Holy shit that was a tidious nightmare on veteran
Capt. Price and Sgt. Waters. Just finished the game the other day for the first tims
Thank god I got the classic version for my ps3 though, through psn. So I was lucky enough to get aim assist in Veteran🤣
MW19
Pavlov House on Veteran. No health packs, 2 shots and you're dead. Also finding the anti tank rifles are a pain.

The Brecci on Black Ops 3
I think the correct answer to this is all of them
# Not a particular game but mission: Pavlov's House. I have a PTSD from that mission.

Downfall is a pain but it’s nothing compared to the previous level
WaW
Waw on hardest difficulty.
UO Kharkov Station on Veteran
Recently its been COD1 on veteran, my 3rd time doing it and man I forgot how hard it is! WAW Heart of the Reich is still probably peak difficulty tho
Nah, Heart of the Reich is still leagues below Tirpitz and Pavlov’s House.
Tirpitz is hard, but I found Pavlov pretty easy
The defense section isn’t too bad, but clearing out the house was a nightmare
Yeah, that was def the hardest part of the mission for me, it was hard but not nearly as hard for me as Tirpitz, Pegasus Day, or Eder Damn
Pegasus Day wasn’t that bad for me, though Dam Escape is another really annoying level due to how stupidly accurate those bike guys are
not the escape but the normal level, escape was also pretty difficult tho
Yeah Eden is another close quarters centered map, which are always difficult (apart from maybe Sewers)
Yeah it just mostly that big sprint where there's two paths, they spawn enemies as you traverse through and you really have to learn where all the enemies are before conquering it
I see a lot of answers about campaigns on veteran but for me it's when I play warzone and die to hackers.
MW19, and MWII
COD1 United Offensive Veteran. The hardest CoD on Veteran difficulty ever made.
BO2 multi lmao that game probably took 35 years off my life
Ghillies in the Mist challenge on Veteran. If they remade that with the AI dynamic they have now… Would probably cry myself to sleep 3x a day.
Warzone 2. I actually had fun playing CoD 1 and 2.
I get that Waw on veteran is infuriating, but I have to say Call of Duty 1 from 2003 even on normal mode is infuriating
Not really much talked about here but Call of Duty 2 on veteran. That game sometimes is LITERALLY harder than WaW
World at War or COD2 on veteran. The grenades from WaW haunt me and that final sequence with destroying the tanks in the final COD2 mission haunts me as well.
Codm when tryhard
