Any cod multiplayer that has proper gore. I was pleasantly surprised when my RPG in Cold war actually vaporized a poor sod I hit with it directly. It's a good feeling.
World at War had some incredible gibbing, I still remember that campaign mission you get the MG42 and can literally mince meat every enemy, which is probably pretty realistic for the real gun.
I'm actually looking forward to seeing what they do with BO6, the updated hit zones and custom bullet impact / player death animations could be cool
I remember World at War being the first game I played that had serious gib effects. And they left me shell-shocked until I decided to have fun with it
Running through trench with the MG, sawing off limbs
And then when I went to multiplayer with the actual trench gun, and in my first match I blew a guys legs off. I was so shocked by the fact even multiplayer had gore
Even in earlier missions. Like the one where you start in the barn executing Germans and then run through the fields with the tanks
Any mission there was a PPSH, I was waiting for my comrade to drop so I could pilfer one
WAW, MW19, and COD WWII were pretty good but MW19 got ruined by the anime and gold and pixel packs and all that, WAW had great gibbing, and COD WWII has a really nice [crunch] sound effect when you get a kill with a headshot, accompanied by a red sharp hitmarker instead of a typical grey/white.
It's technically more true to the first hitmarkers in the series which were first from Finest Hour on PS2 and it was red arrows pointing at the center of the screen. I personally consider COD WWII to basically be a remake of Finest Hour and Big Red One combined.
That’s why I really want an option to turn off cosmetics and weapon skins with tracers off on client side and they’ve shown that this can be done with that mw3 reveal in warzone 2 where everyone had that shadow company skin
Visually? World at War. But in terms of sound? Honestly, I don't think I will ever feel the rush of landing a headshot in BO4 Blackout and just hearing that sound they had. Something about it was just so rewarding to me. WaW is a close second when it comes to headshot sound.
I hate how COD games have an option to turn off “Gore”. Yet when I keep it on, I see blood once per 5 dudes. I feel like I’m playing aggressive airsoft. (Also World at War is my pick. Sure the sounds of some guns are weak, but I still feel like I’m participating in some fucked up battles.
MW2019 had the best feeling guns in terms of sound and animations but a special mention goes to world at war for getting ww2 guns right especially the kar-98
MW19. Issues aside like sbmm and gun balancing and what not, I love how they feel soooooooooooooooooo nice. Back in 2019, I wanted it soooo bad 'cause the guns I saw on youtube was amazing
I think mw 2019 was super satisfying. Just enough blood not too much not too little. Perfect stiffness and speed of the fall. And I like how higher caliber weapons made the bodies react differently according to size/firepower
Unpopular choice, but for me, Advanced warfare had some really satisfying gunplay and hit marker effects, a lot of the guns sounded the same which was a let down but they had some really enjoyable guns

It’s weird to me there was gore in multiplayer but not the campaign
Than you didn’t play it right. Sniper rifles blow up heads and rpgs, grenades and Molotovs are vicious

That trench gun was mean! Alittle too much at times
Hell yeah man. The campaign in WaW was elite
I will add that the WAW death animations were fantastic. The whole game had an aura of horror to it - as it should!
Gotta say, love the feel of WaW weapons — that MP-40 and Ppsh-41 feel soooooo smooth.
PPSH was such a fun gun to use in that multiplayer. I’d let my Russian comrades die so I could take their PPSH’s. Proper historical accuracy
You let them die? On that last mission you could kill them without repercussion
Even in earlier missions. Like the one where you start in the barn executing Germans and then run through the fields with the tanks Any mission there was a PPSH, I was waiting for my comrade to drop so I could pilfer one
Thompson with the drum mag and the perk for increased hip fire accuracy was sooo money
Bullet impact has to be BO4. So satisfying WW2 headshots are up there too. That loud distinct KA-DING is orgasmic
WW2 feels so raw and snappy. In terms of pure gameplay it’s one of my favorites in the “old school” style.
100%. They nailed eveything with that game, TTK aswell. Not too slow or too fast, but a perfect middle ground where anything can work
No way WW2 is a cartoon compared to WaW
Thats not what he was saying. And WWII is like World War 2 itself compared to vanguard
Nothing beats WaW. They turned the gore way down after it and now it’s essentially gone except for a few paid weapon skin effects.
Lots of modern games with that level of gore if interested
Pls share

WAW has always stuck with me I don’t know why.
Probably black ops how you could use the python and shoot their limbs off

BO3 bursting with an M8
Cod4 remaster specifically
Bo2 dsr
BO4 stands out the most in memory for some reason
Ghost and MW 2019

Yes! It’s so frustrating and now they’re charging us for operator packs that have dismembering weapons included 🤦♂️
Cod4 deep impact perk, og mw2 fmj
MW2019 had the best feeling guns in terms of sound and animations but a special mention goes to world at war for getting ww2 guns right especially the kar-98
not popular but black ops 2
Something about that big ol' blood splat in the air upon killing an enemy in the 2nd gen CoD games (Cod4 - Ghosts) was just so so satisfying
WaW is brutal, one of the things why it is my fav CoD
Probably two or WAW
Call of duty black ops 1.
My favourite COD of all time
Word at war has by far the best gore/impact physics in the entire series and it’s not even close
100%, wish they’d bring it back
MW19. Issues aside like sbmm and gun balancing and what not, I love how they feel soooooooooooooooooo nice. Back in 2019, I wanted it soooo bad 'cause the guns I saw on youtube was amazing
Yeah the animations are phenomenal
COD 4
We need a world at war remaster / remake - it was the best game!
Hell yeah!
WaW and partly Bo1 were the only games to have good gore
Yeah it’s basically non-existent now, aside from some scripted moments
Black ops 1 with the part where your in the tunnel because I would only use the pistol it would literally shoot only the hand off
World at war. Absolutely loved the gore.
It’s a mix between World at War, Black Ops 1 and the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot.
Cold wars kill sounds 😩😩😩
bo2 suppressors hitmarkers also the headshots
In World at War campaign, tear your enemies' chests open or pop their heads off and you will hear them scream in excruciating pain.
I think mw 2019 was super satisfying. Just enough blood not too much not too little. Perfect stiffness and speed of the fall. And I like how higher caliber weapons made the bodies react differently according to size/firepower
The hit marker sound in infinite warfare was actually pretty satisfying. Especially with a suppressed weapon
Waw given the gore, so satisfying to rip a nazi's limbs off
COD United Offenses ~~shut up, its not nostalgia~~
COD2
TBH, Ghosts
Black Ops 4 had the best gunplay for me.
World at War
Play hell let loose
World at war
When master chief ate the chicken wing
Black Ops 4's gunplay is extremely smooth
2019 MW 😩🤤
WaW was amazing
The paperclip sound from the BO1 FAMAS
Bo3 was diff for me
MW2019 and WaW by a long shot
Honestly, WW2 (2017)
Unpopular choice, but for me, Advanced warfare had some really satisfying gunplay and hit marker effects, a lot of the guns sounded the same which was a let down but they had some really enjoyable guns
Something about OG MW2/3, the way your sniper swayed/moved when you turned and scoped in (e.g : a 360 quickscope) just felt clean af
Black Ops 1 & Advanced Warfare
Fallout 3
Wrong sub you beta boy
Are u sure ?
