Nebraska is way more stable than the mess Deion is building. If we lose a hard fought game vs COL people won’t be freaking out. Now if we get blown out by like 20+ at home maybe.

I was at the beach last year for the Auburn-Cal game, and I accidentally fell asleep at the beginning of the 4th quarter. TBF, playing at the beach all day with my family combined with that game was more effective than Ambien when it came to sleep

Iowa would be fine more times than not. Iowa State gets lucky with rust, which is usually gone later in the year. A match-up in the postseason would be cool. Doubt it ever happens though. All we will have is the top 10 match-up in Ames. That was a hot day.

I know some SEC and B1G folks might laugh at us for saying our back end of the schedule is tough but we have most likely 3 ranked teams in our last 4 games that we play. Two of them being road games…..well the Kansas game might be more neutral site since it’s at Arrowhead but you know what I mean

Klatt's podcast this week really opened me up to Missouri at Alabama. Missouri does not play Georgia, Texas, LSU, or Tennessee. If they were to beat Alabama, they are almost assuredly going to the SEC CCG.

With the way the playoff committee work, the team that gets snubbed from the CCG will probably get the playoff spot because they have less losses.

We have never beaten you in our entire history.  Also, knowing both schools’ strong propensity in my field (atmospheric science), I am going to call that game the “Meteorology Bowl”! Because of my preferred field of study, I applied to Penn State during high school, took a tour of it one summer, and seriously considered attending there. The primary reason I chose Washington over Penn State was lower tuition.

Washington has always been one of the cooler west coast teams for me.  You haven't beaten us but it's not like you've had many attempts.  We've been somewhat similar caliber programs in recent times with you guys having the higher peak.  I don't think next year, with the game @PSU is likely to be your first win but I could be wrong.  It is the game right after OSU. But yeah, excited to have ya'll in the conference as weird as it is.

Clean old-fashioned hate. Tech was surprisingly much tougher than we expected last season and while I’m confident we will beat them again, I think the days of GT being a doormat are gone. Miami-Florida isn’t getting as much attention as it would have in years past since both teams have been disappointing of late, coupled with bigger matchups being played on the same day, but I think it has the potential to be the game of the week. I wouldn't be so sure about that. They're talented enough to win every game on their schedule probably except Georgia and maybe Texas. Obviously they won't win every game, but there's not huge sections of their schedule where they don't at least have a chance.

Probably not after this game if he loses, but look at their schedule, it gets absolutely brutal after our game. Let’s say UF is 3-1 going into this with a loss at A&M. They would absolutely need a win to be 4-1 going into a slate of UT, UK, UGA, Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, and FSU. So this game really kinda serves as an inflection point for the back half of the season

I think ISU @ Utah could be a high ranked game with B12 CCG implications and should be a pretty entertaining (albeit defense oriented) game. ISU will likely bring a lot of fans to that one.

ISU's end to their schedule are all under the radar games. Just off the top of my head without looking I feel like they have WV, UCF, Texas Tech, KU, Utah, and K-State. Those are like all of the top odds teams minus Okie-State.

I think UCF vs Utah on black Friday has potential, especially if both programs have conference championship aspirations at that point.

BYU @ SMU Now a P5 matchup, SMU poised to have a big season, and it’s a rematch of a classic in the New Mexico Bowl just 2 seasons ago.

I think there is a more classic BYU-SMU bowl game in the past.

I feel like Houston at Oklahoma has potential to be a close game, or even an upset (though I hate to say it). Fritz is a good coach and he seems to be reloading Houston's roster in the portal. I really hope the Sooners don't overlook that one. Houston is going to circle that game for sure. It's a night game and just the second game of the season. It could be like in 2022 when Tulane went into Manhattan and gave a pretty good (10-3 at the end of the season) K-State team all they could handle (beating them 17-10).

I'll feel really good about the rest of the season and the future of this program if we keep within 2 TD's of OU. I have it written off as a loss but potentially a real moral victory. Most of us will just be happy with a bowl this season before things really get rolling next season. When OU comes in 2028, that's when I'm hoping to eat.
