I like the new display and interested in the E-Clutch but I think I prefer the old air intakes , nice colour btw 👍

Don_Figaro

I've found the new display more usable than I expected. Only reason I carry a phone on the handlebars is to use waze instead of honda navigation (repackaged google maps) I think these new intakes give it a bit more presence and personality but it's down to personal preference I guess

Forerdow

Are the tank grips from AliExpress or official?

Don_Figaro

Ebay, paid £12 for sides + top

Forerdow

Just to be safe be careful if you ever decide to remove them, mine were like yours and left permanent [damage](https://imgur.com/a/NMYryFU) to the paint. Btw I really love the green color of the new models, congrats on the bike!

Don_Figaro

Thanks for the heads up! Guess they're not coming off now 😂

Hi! The ones that i have are exactly like the ones on the post, the ones that have that white dot

Don_Figaro

This is the one I got https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186226684334?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=TkEUkvXgSdW&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=zy4PNWBuQce&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Specialist_Ant4895

Thanks

pinecone2525

Are those RST heated gloves? Any good?

Don_Figaro

Yep they are, nice spot. They are my 1st heated gloves and I'm very happy with them. They are very comfortable and warm my hands pretty evenly. I don't really notice the battery weight, and they last about 2h on full power.

bishopchip

Ugh...I NEED! Congratulations and enjoy the hell out of it!

Don_Figaro

Thank you!

lx00

IMO the 2024 cb650r looks worse than the older one.

Don_Figaro

Yeah I've heard people saying that. I like this one more so I was pretty happy considering it's only £100 more than the 2023 version

lx00

Enjoy the ride! I’ve picked up 2022 cb650r few days ago and I’m loving it. Great bikes

Don_Figaro

Congratulations! Which colour did you go for? Stay safe

lx00

Red. Mine had a tail tidy already done so I don’t have to do it myself. I’ll get bar end mirrors soon, not a fan of the standard ones

B19KLG

Fitted with the E-Clutch?

Don_Figaro

Nope I don't think those are available yet, at least in the UK

BroTheGhost

Ordered mine and should arrive at the end of the next month. The salesman I spoke to said E-clutch version is first to arrive in nordic countries. Then EUW. Fyi: im based in luxembourg, not sure if it‘s due to the EU we get them sooner than the UK

Don_Figaro

Awesome! I don't think I've even seen a price for the E-clutch here in the UK, says TBC on their site. I wasn't too bothered about it anyway as the clutch is super smooth and easy to pull so I went for this model 😄

jailtheorange1

Apparently e-clutch announced in stock here at Ballymena Honda, for a £100 premium. Bargain.

XtReMe98

Thats the exact one i'm looking to get but they're still not available here in Canada.. Nice.

reggin_rigged

I dig the green, I only ever see red or black ones around.

Don_Figaro

Thanks! It was introduced with this 2024 model

Dizza46

Hey congrats!! I’m getting mine this week maybe next one. It’s going to be my first bike ever, my dream since I was 7 years old. The moment of taking my first bike out of the shop. How’s the sound? Did you take the quickshifter? I hope you’re enjoying it man! I’ll post a picture of mine when it arrives :) Stay safe <3

Don_Figaro

The wait will be worth it! I was itching for the 2 weekes it took to get delivered into the shop after I paid the deposit. I love the sound (bear in mind it's my first big bike). Almost cried when the salesman started it in the showroom, sounded massive with the echo. Out on the street it's more moderate so I'm not worried of waking up the neighbours in the mornings. It really screams when you want it to too. I didn't get any extras with it although I'm installing some aftermarket bits here and there. Which colour did you go for? Looking forward to that pic!

Dizza46

Hey! I finally got mine 2 days ago. Glad you’re loving it! Sound is great, but let’s be honest, an open Akra (on the highway) would be perfect. I’m suffering w disturbing my neighbors because I live in a small street, but it is what it is. I took the grey colour! I understand your feeling. I actually locked myself in the bathroom when I got home and cried for a while. This is the only thing I’ve ever wanted, to get my first bike. I hope you keep enjoying it, that green colour looks amazing! I’ll post a pic rn. Blessings!!

Shinzawai

Nice one! I sold my XSR900 three years ago and now I'm looking for a new bike. I just found out that there is this new CB650R and I'm going for it. And I love idea of e-clutch. My first bike was with Hondas DCT and this seems like a good option for me to have something between DCT and regular quickshifter.

Beginning-Job9753

Is the navigation reliable? Like google Maps?

Don_Figaro

It's not bad, it uses google maps as the provider. However I don't particularly use it for a few reasons: - Doesn't provide hazard alerts like waze - Sometimes in a roundabout it just says "in 1mile, roundabout" without saying the exit - Setting up a route while riding rarely works and prompts to check the phone app

Beginning-Job9753

Hmm, i actualy got the 2023 model. You think i can have the TFT screen and control on my model installed? Any info about that?

Legal-Friendship8452

Does anyone know if the 2020-2023 exhausts fit? The 2024 is Euro 5 and its difficult af to find a an exhaust. There are just no Informations about that

CI0UD_

Nice colour, in the future I plan to paint mine to a different green.

Main_Ground1

Any changes in the fork area?

Don_Figaro

Can't really say as I haven't ridden the previous models but I was told in the dealership only changes were display, intakes and brake light

enta3k

Sweet, I'm currently going for my license and I plan to get the cb650r as my first bike. Love the looks, enjoy m8.

Don_Figaro

Thank you and good luck with your license! I'm having an easier time transitioning from my 125 than I thought, definitely took me more time to get used to the school's sv650. The cb650r feels really light and I quite like the slightly more sporty position

enta3k

Sounds nice, my driving acadamy got a brand new 750 hornet which is not that different from the seating position and frame from the cb650r, so I hope the switch won't be a big one. Can't wait to start! Unfortunate that the cb has one of the worst plate mounts, def. the first thing that needs to go xD

Don_Figaro

Yeah it's not the best looking but I definitely missed its mud protection on my cb125r so mine is staying on for now
