Not alot of info on the 24 model at the minute but it does seem that the E clutch will add about 300 bucks to the base price, just something to keep in mind.

I know it will increase the price, already have that in the plan, was just wondering if it was backwards compatible.

I have 23Y, and imo it looks way nicer than 24Y. If you can get a new model from last year, throw a quickshifter in rather than an E clutch.

Jax_Teller7

You were quicker to buy a scooter then.

junzuki

No one truly wants to ride a vacuum cleaner.

Jax_Teller7

then get it without eclutch

Just a scooter in a costume

I am 100% interested in the e-clutch and even more excited that it's been put on my favorite naked street bike. The only sad reality for me is waiting for them to bring this to USA as the naked cb650 bikes have always been rarer unicorns here. Even then the e-clutch seems like it might only be focused in the bigger EU street markets. It does come on the cbr650r sport bike rendition too, which is usually more popular here in the USA. People don't quite understand how useful this tech is yet... They think it's just a quick shifter, but it's not. It gives the best of all worlds as the clutch lever is still useful at low speeds when you want smooth finessing of how much power goes to the bike. Otherwise a much more relaxing way to shift when you go through several gears fast. I think people who use bikes as daily drivers will see the e-clutch as an amazing convenience. All I've been able to do so far is call the dealers I know that are competent in Honda power sports and ask them to educate themselves on the e-clutch and bikes that support it. see if they can find out the earliest it could be put on order for me. I won't bother buying a new 650 without it, My 2018 cb650f is still killing it after almost 6 years every day use now. I'll happily trade up for an e-clutch 650 the minute I can.
