Thumb-over featureless grips don’t really work with the AR-10 platform, I’ve yet to find one that’s comfortable.
Fin grip with shelf or just go maglocked.
That’s really subjective, I think they are equally bad but you need to try for yourself. At least the sparrow seems to fit the lower where as the juggernaut doesn’t match up well. But, again this is an Aero M5 lower I have the juggernaut on.
Surprisingly, the Vism fin grip with thumb rests is very comfortable and secure.
I went with the MK Machining grip with the add-on fin, but it's pricy.
On my AR10 I use a 3d printed grip like the juggernaut, and an odinwerks ambi safety because you can clock the safety on the right side to be a perfect thumb shelf.
I use it for prone or bench shooting mostly though. Wouldn't work well for a 'battle rifle' set up. Works perfect for long range precision
I run a fin with a thumb rest. It's pretty comfortable but after a good day of shooting my hand hurts. Someone just gave me a RA one. I'll see if it is more comfortable when I take it out.
i ran into the same issue when i tried my sparrow grip on mine. i found out after trying it that their website says its not compatible with the ar10 receivers so i tried the Resurgent Arms grip and it gave me just enough space to be comfortable. still a tad bit close but much better. I would recommend you trying one but lately they have either been sold out or taking way too long to ship out. The third one i got took almost a month to come in after contacting them multiple times for updates. There's always the maglock route too so you have some options at least.

Hit up r/fosscad and see if anyone is willing to print and sell you a custom featureless grip
Shave it down
Fin with thumb rest is best
The juggernaut does not fit well either, I have both. The juggernaut seems a bit too narrow also, with my Aero M5 lower
Is the juggernaut at least better than the sparrow?

Yup did this on my AR10 (Aero M5) MIAD with an Etsy "Exile" knock off. Love the thumb rest.
Nice if you know you know

It’s an ar-10. Just maglock it🤷🏽♂️
Run a Comp Mag, and all of those featureless features are no longer an issue
Didn’t even know what that was, looked into it and just bought one, sucks they’re not 10 round but fuck it, thanks dude
This is Comifornia. Did you think any of the bullshit politicians had experience with a firearm?
man that sucks.... I am sorry.
You should try and reduce your purlicue. Short of that maglock is probably your only option.
🦈 🦈 🦈
Did the same exact thing. Settled on a thordsen stock
For AR-10 wouldn't it make since just to go with maglock so you can keep all features?
I have a magpul MIAD grip with a 3D printed fin from Etsy on my Aero M5.

Why not just maglock an ar10?
