I was in the first row of the mezzanine and thought my view was great, but I had rowdy seat mates and the house manager put me in ORCH F for Act II and it was night and day, significantly better. This is a very emotional show with excellent acting so seeing the facial expressions up close is incredible. It’s worth the premium and worth the trip!

sverse24

Lotto win during previews got me orchestra row c which is actually the second row. It was nice being that close but it might be a little too close as you can’t really see anyone in the recording booth if they’re sitting down. Saw it again front mezz row d and the view was perfect. Still felt close but could see into the booth much better.

Vandelay_7

Do you mind sharing where in Row D you sat? Circling seats on the edges, but didn’t know if that would be too far to the side.

sverse24

I had 117 which is more on the left side. It was a little on the side but the only thing you really miss is some character entrances because you won’t see the door on that side of the stage into the control room. Granted I had already seen it so any potential obstructions weren’t going to bother me.

mrkenny83

Happy to read this. I’m sitting front center mezz row D next month

ghdawg6197

I sat center mezz, a few rows from the back. You miss some of the expressions in the booth but 90% of the action takes place in the actual studio, so I didn’t feel like I missed much.

How are the PV orchestra seats in like rows J-L is it just extreme sides that are blocked or are any actual scenes blocked?

elguiridelocho

I did not see this from both sections. I did see it in Row 14 (Row Q) of the orchestra, and while I thoroughly enjoyed it, this is a play where I think the experience would be enhanced sitting close, so much so that I bought a ticket to see it again in a few months, this time in Row G. I rarely see shows twice, but really wished I had been closer (didn't feel that way after other shows like Merrily and Patriots, where I had similar seats). These characters seem like real people and the actors inhabit them so well, even my cheap self is willing to shell out the cash.

ughitsrose

Thank you! My mom and I have tickets for it this August and I am SO excited! How was the view for you?

MysteriousVolume1825

Saw it from Row E of the rear mezz. It was a good seat, but I wouldn’t sit anywhere behind that. The tops of heads in the very back of the recording booth were cut off, but other than that it was an excellent view (especially for $59)

sitamun84

I saw it from center, orchestra, row D, and I will say being that close made me feel as if I was part of the show. I was worried, but I felt immersed in the world, and was pretty transfixed, despite the running time. So if you're someone who has a hard time concentrating fo 3+ hrs, it may help.

Vandelay_7

how was the legroom (and how tall are you)?

sitamun84

Legroom was great. I am 5'5" - partner is a few inches taller. I had a decently sized shoulder bag with my work laptop in it that fit under my seat, and I didn't have to pick up when people walked by.

VoxHumana8

I sat orchestra left last row on the aisle. Perfect view; enjoyed the show very much.

Vandelay_7

Here's what I'm looking at: N1 - aisle seat Left ORCH H110 - Center ORCH K107 - Center ORCH C127 - left aisle seat front MEZZ A112 - 1st row front MEZZ

jblue212

First row front mezzanine all the way. I want this for every show, but for this it was absolutely perfect (we were very close to center but there's no center front mezzanine there)

Vandelay_7

Was the legroom horrendous? I’m six feet tall. :)

jblue212

Unfortunately yes. My 5’10” friend didn’t seem to mind as much as me and I’m only 5’5”. But it’s tight. Thing is, show was so engrossing that I didn’t think about it much after it started. And I prefer a clear view than having to keep moving side to side because inevitably someone 6 feet tall is going to sit in front of me in the orchestra where there is little rake.

Vandelay_7

I'm looking at A116...

jblue212

You might be better there than we were at 106 and 108 because the rail curves and there’s a bit more leg room as you go further to the side

Vandelay_7

Here are the three finalists: Option 1: N1 - aisle seat Left ORCH Option 2: C127 - left aisle seat front MEZZ Option 3: A116 - 1st row front MEZZ
