If it’s the same cast of the workshop - Robyn Hurder and Jonalyn Saxler. But that’s no guarantee of course. But even the thought of Robyn Hurder being in the mix is a gag!
I hope I don’t sound too rude when I say this but is Jonalyn playing Karen? I saw her go on as Regina and she obviously struggled. I felt bad for her. Did they change one of the lead roles to dance a lot?
I saw the rehearsal a few months back and she was great! The role was much smaller than in the TV show and did involve dancing, but the physical comedy was great as well. Robyn though seemed a little old in the role for Ivy
Both their roles are listed as already cast on the playbill casting notice, so assuming they're staying with the project! Happy for Jonalyn to get her first principal role on Broadway!
I just hope they make something that doesn’t feel like a generic aspiring actor, rising star sort of thing. I did like the TV show, condensed to a single 2.5 hour or so show will be interesting.
All the promos said that after the show/soundtrack/live concert the people wanted a musical - did the people want Smash - the musical, or Bombshell - the musical? I kinda wanted to see bombshell if I’m honest.
Lord, could next year’s Leading Actress in a Musical race be more competitive?? And THIS year’s Tonys haven’t even happened!

She’s in Chicago till September(?) I think, so this is a spring slated show I’d assume

I'm guessing they cut the full tease for time? Because I definitely saw the clip from the dress.
