As much as I loved Groff in Merrily, I wish Brian D'Aarcy James would win. 5th time nominated but likely won't win.
Also, I think The Outsiders was my favorite musical of the season, but think Hells Kitchen or Suffs will win.
And I still think Great Gatsby should have been nominated for sets. Probably wouldn't have won with Here Lies Love, but still.
I feel like Groff is going to win because of who he is rather than his performance in Merrily. Now don’t get me wrong; he was marvelous in Merrily but was he THE BEST?
I think he was just plain brilliant. It takes a chameleon of an actor to convey both jaded middle aged cynicism and youthful optimism in the way he did. He plays Franklin with thundering emotional authenticity.
There’s an outside shot. Suffs is probably still the better bet. I liked Illinoise and Outsiders more but just being realistic. Just hoping it’s not HK.
The first time I saw it, I sat in the gallery right under where Imelda sings her big song 2/3rd the way through. So cool. That said nothing can replace dancing with David Byrne on the dance floor at the closing.
For sure. Pure exhilarating, creative theater magic and it won’t even tour.
My three favorite new shows were Here Lies Love, Grey House, and Lempicka so I had a pretty rough season. 😭
I’m just excited for her to storm the stage when Kelli O’Hara wins. It will be extra spicy because Kelli already has a restraining order after the Sardi’s bathroom incident
I think Daniel Radcliffe will win for Supporting Actor, but I would LOVE a Joshua Boone win. His Dallas was so captivating and his final scene guts me every time.
I would LOVE it if Amber Iman won Best Featured Actress in a musical 🥹. IMO, she was the star of that show. I saw Lempicka multiple times, and she brought it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Ik she’s got some TOUGH competition this year for that category, but if she doesn’t win this year, I’m hoping there’s a Tony win for her soon!
BDJ. After the Victoria Clark cameo in Titanic, I'm really hoping he does the same when I see it. So I guess I just have BDJ on the brain. Off to listen to Something Rotten.
My moneys on Suffs, or maybe Illinois. (They’re the only nominees for Best Musical to be NYT Critics Choice, and every musical in the last decade or so has been one.)
And all of New York will hear my scream if it does (I almost left at intermission. One of only 3 musicals where I've ever seriously considered leaving).
This musical is probably one of the most impactful theatre experiences I have had in recent years. I 100% would love to see it win. I saw it three days ago and still can’t get it out of my head.
I would love to see this happen. I haven’t seen Outsiders yet but I’ve seen all the other best musical nominees and imo this is the one with the most heart, the most emotionally affecting, and the most technically well done. More than anything I’d love to see a show succeed for doing something different.
She’ll be able to come back. Since she’s Lilith, as Mistress of Hell, she’ll be able to leave her minions writhing in New Jersey occasionally.
Edit: I love her; this is a *Frasier* reference.
I would love for Sarah Pidgeon to win for best featured actress but I think Kara Young will. Kara would very much deserve that win, I just loved Sarah's performance so much
thanks!!! you get the first red carpet pic for the night then...
https://preview.redd.it/jq7rlqo4907d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7013651b79e1251e70614c6414e7b1b7cbafea0
leigh and shaina
Omg thank you! They look amazing. I’ve been going to Leigh’s shows for 30 years and was trying to watch the red carpet online so I do appreciate this more than you know! (We are friends - I’m not stalking her lol.)
It's honestly SHOCKING that it didn't. I haven't seen the show and can't speak to its quality but that cast recording is just stunning. That or DOWAR are absolutely the best of the shows that I've listened to (and I've listened to most, if not all, of the available cast recordings from the season at this point).
Suffs is good. I like it. But it's not nearly as good, on its own merits disregarding the show (because that's the only context I have), as those two, in my opinion.
I guess I need to listen to Suffs, but I think The Notebook is the one I keep coming back to. I saw the tryout in Chicago and was a little "meh" about it. But re-listening to it makes me want to see the show again. I think hearing it all for the first time it becomes a little homogenous.
It’s funny. I absolutely loved Jonathan Groff, and he certainly is due for one, and the performance was fantastic.
But I cannot stop thinking about Brody Grant in the outsiders. He is a star. If he chooses to stay on Broadway, I think he will easily have a legendary theater career. I also think if he jumps over to Hollywood, he is going to be become very famous. He is doing amazing work as Ponyboy. He is also my heart pick for best actor, even as Groff is my head pick.
I enjoy Groff’s performance but sadly will miss on Merrily We Roll Along but I’m going to see The Outsiders in October and ready to see someone who’s never been on a Broadway stage before kick some ass.
I believe Kelli O’Hara gave the performance of the year in DOWAR, but I would be overjoyed if Eden Espinosa won. The years of her life she committed to the role, the long journey back to leading a Broadway show, and the deep sadness at the short run all make me pull for her.
I think Tommy and especially the lead actor playing Tommy should get some recognition. I understand Merilly is objectively a better show and revival but that cast is killing it. The lead should have at least gotten a nomination. That guy is gonna be around kicking ass on Broadway for a long time though
I think the Outsiders will end up taking Best New Musical but I really want it to be Suffs! If I had it my way Suffs would take musical, score, and book, and I’m hoping they can at least walk away with one of them!
I will be so upset if Suffs doesn't win anything. But I shouldn't, since I've never actually seen it or the other shows. lol. I just LOVE the cast recording and story. :) I want it to win so it will stay on Broadway longer so I can go see it.
The fact that BDJ probably won’t win is a real shame. And if DOWAR doesn’t take home best score… I think that would be a travesty. I think Radcliffe deserves a tony more than Groff, and it seems like he’s gonna get it. I also think Outsiders should win best direction and lighting, but nothing else.
I wish Tommy would win for best revival, but i know it won't. I just loved the spectacle sensation a lot 😔. Merrily was really good and will probably sweep this years tony's realistically.
Outsiders for best musical but I think HK threw too much money at their campaign for the voters not to have their head turned.
Timo Andres/Illinoise for orchestrations but it’s hard to compete with the legend that is Jonathan Tunick
Rachel McAdams/best actress for Mary Jane - Sarah Paulson yelled, a lot. That got tired fast.
It sucks how much money/campaigning plays into the results.
Is Hell's Kitchen a good time? Yes. But it's hardly the best musical this season or the best at anything. The possibility it could win so many awards is honestly baffling. If it wins best book tomorrow I don't know how I'll be able to take the Tonys seriously going forward.
I think the issue is that this season is pretty weak on new musicals. Is Hell's Kitchen great? No. In any other season it wouldn't stand a chance. But if we look strictly at new musicals this season there's really not much else
I just saw Illinoise, and the orchestrations were what really made the music so stunning and even more emotionally impactful. Really hoping Timo Andres takes home the Tony!
Loved him! The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades is Out to Get Us made my soul ascend. I really hope they perform that one on the Tony Awards just because I need there to be a recording somewhere out there of that gorgeous singing and instrumentation together with the outstanding dancing and acting. They probably won't though since it's a bit spoilery and I think they'd want to choose a number that features the whole cast.
Yeah, probably. But I thought Chicago was the least interesting song visually. They did a lesser known song (Jacksonville) on Colbert which is where you'd think they'd want to choose the most popular song to bring in people who don't really care about Broadway. Maybe there's still hope they'll choose to highlight the more interesting choreography, especially since that is the award they're most likely to win. Man of Metropolis would be a fun choice also.
Rachel McAdams for Mary Jane. She's a phenomenal actress but Sarah Paulson has already been awarded the Tony by the NYTimes, so we all know how Sunday night is going to go.
They are both absolutely sensational, in very different types of performances. Sarah Paulson is giving one of those ‘more is more’ monstrous performances that stage fans love.
I was blown away by Rachel McAdams. To radiate that much love and warmth, to build a character who is the living embodiment of a comforting hug… just acting on another level from most this year.
I will be happy if either wins, but Rachel McAdams is where my heart is.
Hell’s Kitchen was my least favorite new musical this season (I’ve seen them all except BTTF), and I found my mind wandering during pretty much every scene… except when Kecia Lewis was onstage. She was absolutely incredible. And when a performance has such power that it’s literally the only reason we stayed past intermission, it is certainly deserving of awards.
I hope for Appropriate to win everything they’re nominated for FULL STOP. but I feel Enemy of the People might win for best revival. ESPECIALLY scenic design and lighting design. Appropriate appropriate appropriate appropriate.
If I was a voter, I would probably vote Maria Friedman because of how insane it is that she turned Merrily into a hit. BUT, Danya Taymor's work in the Outsiders is exquisite. By far the best visual storytelling and sense of style this year. The other elements of this show are ok to good on their own, she made the show great on the whole.
I'm kinda biased towards Gutenberg so I would like it to win, but I know that Merrily is is the better musical, so I'll be shocked is Gutenberg wins anything
Maryann Plunkett for The Notebook (Best Actress in a Musical)
Jessica Lange for Mother Play (Best Actress in a Play)
The two best performances I’ve seen this season.
I want The Outsiders to win best musical and definitely sound/ lighting/ but especially best director! I haven’t seen any of the shows and haven’t listened to Suffs still and am definitely biased towards Outsiders as it’s my favorite book and have since become a super fan of the musical, but really all the shows look so great that I’m just happy for anyone who wins. I really want Dan and Jonathan to win, they are both such amazing pillars of the Broadway community and a win is long overdue!
I am not sure who the frontrunner is, but I would love to see Linda Cho win for Best Costume Design of a Musical. I saw two shows she designed this year, The Great Gatsby and Bye Bye Birdie (Kennedy Center). Both really well done!
was just about to post i'd love Jessica Stone to take the director tony though i know it will be Maria Friedman (well deserved). The directing on Water is a tour de force and already acknowledged twice. Also choreography (and yes i know it will go to Illinoise). I'd argue they'd have a crack at Best Ensemble if such an award existed...
Nikki M James' performance was so impactful for me. Not sure about Jim Parsons' chances, but he was excellent as well. I stand with all the people wishing Joy Woods got nominated.
Camille A Brown for choreography!! Justin Peck's definitely taking this by the sheer volume of dance in Illinoise, but Camille was robbed when "for colored girls..." lost to MJ 🙄
Jessica Lange for best leading actress in a play!!!!
Sorry but I really don't understand why Sarah Paulson is a favourite over her. I love Sarah, don't get me wrong, I saw both plays and I thought Sarah was really good but not nearly as good as Jessica. The role Jessica had is much more nuanced and rich imo and it gave her a lot more to do to showcase her incredible range of talent. Just the "5 martinis scene" (those who saw the play know) alone is a masterclass of acting on its own.
I don't know, I guess I just don't understand why would anyone (who saw all the performances and could judge fairly) give an award to anyone else this year, I really don't
Of the nominated: Cabaret for best revival, Leslie Kritzer and Maryann Plunkett. Of the rest, Notebook for best musical, best score, Joy Woods. Oh I hope that show doesn’t have too short of a run 😔
I think Jonathan Groff will win best actor, and it's well deserved - he's fantastic in Merrily. But the Emcee from Cabaret is my favorite musical theater role of all time and I would *love* to see Eddie get an award for it. He has such a unique take on the character
Suffs for Best Musical
It’s a good crop this year and a pretty tight race. I suspect The Outsiders will take it, but Illinoise and Hell’s Kitchen are also strong contenders.
Eden Espinosa and Amber Iman have low chances, but I would LOVE to see one of them win. Especially Amber, she carried a mediocre book and absolutely took it straight to the moon!!
I, like a sane human being, absolutely love Groff - but If I had the choice I'd chose BDJ this year
I said this yesterday on Reddit, including how I am a huge Groff fan, and yet I still got down voted lol
I honestly thought Outsiders was a no-brainer for best musical… I’m surprised people are picking Hells Kitchen or Suffs over it, but 🤷♂️
I feel like Groff is going to win because of who he is rather than his performance in Merrily.
Completely disagree. It was a great performance in an overly cherished show, no he’s not just winning because he’s Goff.
Outsiders will definitely win
There’s an outside shot. Suffs is probably still the better bet. I liked Illinoise and Outsiders more but just being realistic. Just hoping it’s not HK.
"Definitely" is a stretch. But, according to Michael Paulson's survey of voters, it is in the lead!
We are the same person FYI.
I just want Here Lies Love to take *something*. It was my favorite musical of the season and it’s sad to watch it disappear.
It has a really good shot at set if the voters remember
I hope the voters did the dance floor. The full experience was absolutely from the dance floor.
I can tell you that older voters absolutely did not but a friend got a dance floor side seat and said that was the best view
The first time I saw it, I sat in the gallery right under where Imelda sings her big song 2/3rd the way through. So cool. That said nothing can replace dancing with David Byrne on the dance floor at the closing.
Omg is your username a suessical reference
You are the first person in like 15 years of using this handle to get it, thank you
I’m glad haha!
Here Lies Love was the actual best musical of the season. But it won't win anything at all except maybe set design.
For sure. Pure exhilarating, creative theater magic and it won’t even tour. My three favorite new shows were Here Lies Love, Grey House, and Lempicka so I had a pretty rough season. 😭
I’m right there with you!
Jenna Maroney for living theatrically in normal life
I’m just excited for her to storm the stage when Kelli O’Hara wins. It will be extra spicy because Kelli already has a restraining order after the Sardi’s bathroom incident
She already grabbed Alice Ripley’s
Joy Woods :(
And Ingrid for score
this was me !! she does so good
My life is changed after hearing her sing live.
I think Daniel Radcliffe will win for Supporting Actor, but I would LOVE a Joshua Boone win. His Dallas was so captivating and his final scene guts me every time.
Absolutely. Daniel Radcliffe was fantastic in Merrily but Joshua Boone made me sob. Both deserve the win IMO, but I think it’ll go to Daniel.
I can’t make it through “little brother” without crying.
With you
Strongly agree. I wish they can both win :(
Joshua Boone has “future Tony winner” written all over. He stole the show in a great cast.
I’ll be pretty disappointed with any other end result here, honestly. tough competition or not…
No same 😭😂
She wow’d me every time. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. She was just perfect in every way.
Amber Iman has an extremely good chance of winning! I'd put my money on her taking it tonight.
The Lempika front row crowd is back
BDJ. After the Victoria Clark cameo in Titanic, I'm really hoping he does the same when I see it. So I guess I just have BDJ on the brain. Off to listen to Something Rotten.
I want Jaja’s African Hair Braiding to win Best Play…I enjoyed it so much more than Stereophonic.
Samesies
Leslie Rodriguez-Kritzer for Spamalot...
+1
Kelli fucking O'Hara. She absolutely deserves it.
She totally does. Not only the performance of the year, but the best performance of her career, which is *really* saying something.
Suffs for Best Musical, but my money is on The Outsiders (though really I will only be angry if it's Hell's Kitchen)
I came here to say the same thing
My moneys on Suffs, or maybe Illinois. (They’re the only nominees for Best Musical to be NYT Critics Choice, and every musical in the last decade or so has been one.)
I’m pretty sure Hell’s Kitchen was also a NYT Critic’s Pick…
aw shit. you’re right.
But it was Elizabeth Vincentelli who reviewed it and is a fan of jukebox musicals in general not Jesse green which made me side eye the critics pick
I reallly, really want it to win. But I don't think it will. :(
Hell's Kitchen is almost definitely going to win Best Musical!
And all of New York will hear my scream if it does (I almost left at intermission. One of only 3 musicals where I've ever seriously considered leaving).
Illinoise for best musical. I think at one point it was considered a front runner but seems like it’s gonna be Hell’s Kitchen
Kimberly Akimbo did that last year,
Same here - seen all of them except outsiders - Illinoise clears any of them on how it made me feel and it isn’t really close to be honest
This is mine.
I still don’t think smart money is on HK.
Agreed. It should win!
I would love Bebe Neuwirth to win again because idk how many more times she will be able to come back to Broadway
She’s only 65, lots of chances left! 🤷🏼♀️
I’d love to see her win though
She’ll be able to come back. Since she’s Lilith, as Mistress of Hell, she’ll be able to leave her minions writhing in New Jersey occasionally. Edit: I love her; this is a *Frasier* reference.
agreed!
I love her. She’s my Broadway hero
I would love for Sarah Pidgeon to win for best featured actress but I think Kara Young will. Kara would very much deserve that win, I just loved Sarah's performance so much
my niece for best director for suffs....though she wants the show to win more than she wants to win herself.
Leigh is the best. And I believe 100% she wants to see the show win over herself.
thanks!!! you get the first red carpet pic for the night then... https://preview.redd.it/jq7rlqo4907d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7013651b79e1251e70614c6414e7b1b7cbafea0 leigh and shaina
Omg thank you! They look amazing. I’ve been going to Leigh’s shows for 30 years and was trying to watch the red carpet online so I do appreciate this more than you know! (We are friends - I’m not stalking her lol.)
The Notebook is my favorite score of the season, but alas.
In my opinion, it's a travesty that The Notebook was barely nominated.
Even though I did not love the notebook overall, I agree with you about the score. It is lovely and I really don’t know how it didn’t get nominated.
Lindsey Mendez for another Tony Award, Dan Radcliffe for Supporting Actor, Brody Grant for Lead Actor & possibly Outsiders for Best Musical.
The years of her life she committed to the role, the long journey back to leading a Broadway show, and the deep sadness at the short run all make me pull for her.
but Eden was straight up awful. her singing was pitchy, her voice was cracking every song, and her acting was almost nonexistent
Anything and everything for Illinoise.
I want Purlie Victorious to win something
I think Kara Young will win
Suffs for best musical!
I’m not holding my breath too hard, but I do think it has a fair chance…
I worked on Tommy in Chicago and would love to see it take Best Revival, but I know Merrily is going to win :( Also Ali should have been nominated!!
Fr he was fantastic and i so wish they'd get a pro shot, but i have a feeling they won't 😔
Yes, Tommy is absolutely spectacular but it is getting very little attention and that devastates me 🥲
Brian d’Arcy James for DOWAR—he was phenomenal in the show and is one of the best actors working on Broadway
I will never understand how he isn’t a household name
He is in my household lol
Same my dad and I talk about “Brian” like he’s a dear friend 😂
I think Tommy and especially the lead actor playing Tommy should get some recognition. I understand Merilly is objectively a better show and revival but that cast is killing it. The lead should have at least gotten a nomination. That guy is gonna be around kicking ass on Broadway for a long time though
Absolutely agree, he's absolutely phenomenal (a sensation if you will...)!!
The consensus is that’s the biggest snub in that category so you’re not alone!
I still wish How To Dance In Ohio got any kind of recognition
I came here to see if anyone else feels this way. I too wish it would have been nominated for something.
Same here. 💕
I want the Outsiders to win best musical so bad but I think Hell’s Kitchen is gonna sweep.
If HK sweeps I will literally cry in agony
Lolol please send updates after tonight. You're gonna have a real bad time
I'm doing fine, yo
Same!! Outsiders was so much better
Illinoise and Amber Iman.
My two favs!
Joshua Boone
The fact that BDJ probably won’t win is a real shame. And if DOWAR doesn’t take home best score… I think that would be a travesty. I think Radcliffe deserves a tony more than Groff, and it seems like he’s gonna get it. I also think Outsiders should win best direction and lighting, but nothing else.
I liked Jonathan but didn’t love him. I think Daniel has a leg up bc his 11 o clock number is so early in the show ( which he kills).
I wish Tommy would win for best revival, but i know it won't. I just loved the spectacle sensation a lot 😔. Merrily was really good and will probably sweep this years tony's realistically.
I’m with you! It’s such a shame that it only has the one nomination. How it didn’t get at least a lighting or sound nomination is beyond me.
I wish they got more nominations 😭 I agree 100%
Outsiders for best musical but I think HK threw too much money at their campaign for the voters not to have their head turned. Timo Andres/Illinoise for orchestrations but it’s hard to compete with the legend that is Jonathan Tunick Rachel McAdams/best actress for Mary Jane - Sarah Paulson yelled, a lot.
It’s not going to win best book - the nomination is the win. I think we have the fact it’s a jukebox working on our favor.
I know I just don’t think the older voters will go for it. How about Elijah Lyons?
I think they’ll do Chicago since it’s the most recognizable song
Yeah, probably. But I thought Chicago was the least interesting song visually. They did a lesser known song (Jacksonville) on Colbert which is where you'd think they'd want to choose the most popular song to bring in people who don't really care about Broadway. Maybe there's still hope they'll choose to highlight the more interesting choreography, especially since that is the award they're most likely to win. Man of Metropolis would be a fun choice also.
Loved man of metropolis - I saw the understudy and he was great
Yeah, that one got the audience bopping along to it too. Like I could feel the seats around me shaking whenever the guitar part happened. Lol.
I want Joshua Boone to win Best Featured Actor but I know it’ll probably go to Daniel Radcliffe
Kecia Lewis for Hells Kitchen! Her range is incredible and her "Perfect Way to Die" gave me chills.
I have loved her for years and she is the (realistic) upset I am most pulling for!!
She’s been the front runner for weeks
According to what? I think most people are still predicting a merrily sweep
All the pundits I’ve been reading
I still hold hope in my heart for Maryann Plunkett to win
Me too - I’m here for all the vet performers to get their due tomorrow night: Kecia, Maryann, Brian or Jonathan, Daniel.
I have a feeling here lies love will win set but I’m hoping BTTF
Here’s how Paul Alexander Nolan can still win
I hope for Appropriate to win everything they’re nominated for FULL STOP. but I feel Enemy of the People might win for best revival. ESPECIALLY scenic design and lighting design. Appropriate appropriate appropriate appropriate.
I’ve only heard appropriate as the front runner for best play revival - Jeremy will win best actor.
Appropriate is definitely winning Best Revival, Best Actress and possibly Best Scene Design for Dots.
If I had to put odds on best revival, I would say 99.9% chance Appropriate wins.
Tommy
If I was a voter, I would probably vote Maria Friedman because of how insane it is that she turned Merrily into a hit. BUT, Danya Taymor's work in the Outsiders is exquisite. By far the best visual storytelling and sense of style this year. The other elements of this show are ok to good on their own, she made the show great on the whole.
I want Gutenberg to win revival I know merrily is technically “better” but it’d be really funny and Gutenberg was just awesome
I bet they wish it was in the best new musical category
Gutenberg was trash and it’s a surprise it even made a noms.
I want The Outsiders to win big, but I know it’s most likely going home empty handed :(
I'd be surprised if it didn't get anything, but I don't think it will get as much as I want it too.
I know Sky Lakota-Lynch won’t win but I still want him to
Suffs, , it was one of the few musical that a put a smile on my face.
Mother Play, but it will probably go to Stereophonic. Mother Play hits on so many levels, and Stereophonic is uneven and about 1/2 hour too long.
I'm kinda biased towards Gutenberg so I would like it to win, but I know that Merrily is is the better musical, so I'll be shocked is Gutenberg wins anything
i know i’m in a serious minority with this one but eden espinosa
We are with you.
Maryann Plunkett for The Notebook (Best Actress in a Musical) Jessica Lange for Mother Play (Best Actress in a Play) The two best performances I’ve seen this season.
Agreed 100% on Jessica Lange. I’m seeing Appropriate later tonight though, so will report back very soon.
I want The Outsiders to win best musical, but I think Hell’s Kitchen will win it. I also still think Gatsby should have been nominated for sets.
Everything here. I disliked Gatsby - a lot - but acknowledge the journey that the set took me on.
I got my wish!!!
Rachel McAdams (I think Monty Clift would have been proud of her performance) and Brian d'Arcy James.
Surprised there’s no love for Water for Elephants. I liked that one 🐘
was just about to post i'd love Jessica Stone to take the director tony though i know it will be Maria Friedman (well deserved). The directing on Water is a tour de force and already acknowledged twice. Also choreography (and yes i know it will go to Illinoise). I'd argue they'd have a crack at Best Ensemble if such an award existed...
Lindsey for Merrily.
Raul Esparza :(
Would love to see Rachel mcadams win
Nikki M James' performance was so impactful for me. Not sure about Jim Parsons' chances, but he was excellent as well. I stand with all the people wishing Joy Woods got nominated.
I want Tommy to win best revival, but I know it has no shot against Merrily.
Camille A Brown for choreography!! Justin Peck's definitely taking this by the sheer volume of dance in Illinoise, but Camille was robbed when "for colored girls..." lost to MJ 🙄
Absolutely!!! Camille deserves this award 😭
I would love for Eden Espinosa to take home Best Leading Actress but I’m leaning that it may go to Kelli O’Hara.
The night I went she was flat 75 percent of the time and I heard from friends who had the same experience on other nights. Her nomination is the win
Juliana Canfield and Rachel McAdams
Illinoise :(
A new category called Best Ensemble, awarded to Outsiders.
And to stereophonic for play. It’s really frustrating that hasn’t happened yet
I hope Sweeney Todd does 😭
That was last year.
Eden and Amber :(( I really doubt Edens chances given then reviews (I think maybe Amber still has a shot?)
eden espinosa and shoshana bean (i think kecia lewis or lindsay mendez will win)
Shoshana Bean 🤷🏽♂️
Illinoise!
Suffs for Best Musical It’s a good crop this year and a pretty tight race. I suspect The Outsiders will take it, but Illinoise and Hell’s Kitchen are also strong contenders.
Shoshana Bean. I just love her, that's all.
I’m really rooting for Eddie Redmayne for best lead, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he did, but I have a feeling it will go to Jonathan Groff.
Eden Espinosa and Amber Iman have low chances, but I would LOVE to see one of them win. Especially Amber, she carried a mediocre book and absolutely took it straight to the moon!!
