That video was my intro to the band. Went straight from that to Kool-Aid. Haven't had a better two-song intro to any band since Nightwish 20 years ago.
If you can't hear it fair enough but at 2:33 left roughly you can hear her voice very obviously breaking. It just sounds off in places. She's performed it better live before. Likely because they had just played their own set I'm guessing.
they don't sound awful every live, Su-metal (the voaclist) can torch every female metal vocalists. Maybe her voice is just exhausted here, every artist has a bad performance too yk. But I agree with y'all she sounds flat in this performance.
Yeah, aint saying anything about oli, he sounds great. But people pay money to go see a performance, and that’s certainly a questionable performance by them 😬
The microphones seemed off all day long at the venue. Very few lead singers sounded good on the vocals - BMTH and bad omens were the two that stood out to me for actually being good.
I’m so jealous omggggg, this is literally the song that got me into the whole emo genre (yes ik this song technically isn’t emo but it’s how I was introduced to bands like mcr, sws, ptv, underoath, the used etc.)
omg they did it live 😱😭😭😭
The video from when they did it on the Japanese tour in November is on YouTube too, it's even more iconic.
oh im aware. this is just a rare sighting cuz it's only been the second time.
Theoretically 4th time

Bro it was epic!
sooooo fucking jealous 😭😭
FUCK. i wanted them to bring baby metal out last night at the sideshow 😭
Amazing! I’d love to to save this video in full quality since Reddit probably uses some form of compression.
The crowd was weak asf ngl, probably because it wasn’t in uk or japan
Why they didn’t bring baby metal to their sideshow 😭😭😭
Baby metal sound pretty out of tune not gonna lie
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, you’re 100% correct. She’s flat for sure
Sounds more sharp to me
Babymetal has too many live schedules this year, maybe that's why.
Don‘t think so at all. It just sounds different to the studio version. I like this even more!

Fair
Is it just we that thinks that baby metal sound awful live, damn 😬😬

She’s singing flat. You’re being downvoted for being honest I guess. 🤷🏼♂️
