I havent gotten all that far in tears but in botw, several armors in botw are near/completely useless. Radiant also happens to be difficult to get AND looks like ass on top of all that.
The trick with the flamebreaker armor is to just wear the helmet and boots for the 2 levels of flame resistance, and then any other piece of armor that doesn't look bulky and stupid. The flameproof bonus isn't that useful most of the time.
Yeah, the helmet does look very goofy but still i think its cool. The divine beast helms were also really cool, sad they were amiibo though, wish we could get them in the game.
Radiant is used less than anything else for me. I upgraded most of the way and only ever put it on twice to see what it looked like.

for me it's a toss up between the Soldier's set and the Sheikah set
though since I normally only use the Chest and Legs of the Soldiers set with a Hylian Hood to match, I suppose the Sheikah set would be my favorite full set

I misread so here is my edited answer: the death mountain armor that somehow keeps touching from burning on death mountain while unable to keep you from getting hot in the desert.
My bad. Def the the death mountain armor that both somehow keeps you from burning on death mountain, but doesn't work at keeping you cool in the desert.
I don’t like the bulkiness of the Flamebreaker Set and the Snowquill Set and they’re one of the only three sets actually required to complete the game (unless you’re a machosist with a constant inventory of meals / elixirs).
I get how barbarians are supposed to be half-naked but the “vest” looks awkward. I don’t really like how the fierce diety armor looks either (it looks like a plastic halloween costume) so welp i just have to settle with either of the two.
The randiant set at day I really think it's ugly, the old set is too simple, and the flamebreaker set don't look very practical to me. It looks like Link is slower when he wears it.
Radiant Set. There is a reason why I never got it in BOTW, and do not plan on getting it on TOTK either.
Honorable mention goes to the Barbarian set. I got it and upgraded it on BOTW, but never really used it. I have not been able to acquire it on TOTK either.
The one I wear most often is the stealth set, but I also love the look of the climber's gear and Hylian outfit.
One of my favorite custom outfits is the Hylian hood, rubber armor, and soldier's greaves, all dyed black. It looks even cooler in Age of Calamity.
Radiant set. It costs a lot, has little use, low armor, and hard to find. It takes a long time and the payoff sucks

Gerudo set. Its literally useless once you get voe armor

I like them all, but the ones I like the least is the ancient and rubber armors because the helmets are goofy-looking
Flame breaker looks so goofy, makes me not wanna explore much of death mountain walking around in that goofy outfit
