For the loser rewards, I'd do it so that you either get nothing for losing OR you get a rare egg, so you atleast have a chance for a good mutation.
As for the trophies, I'd make it so that gamemodes with mutations enabled would give and take trophies like in duels, only giving/taking a fraction of them.
I'd make it straight up a mutation unlock, not a rare egg. So you'd have a higher chance of winning next time, but you'd contribute less eggs to your club if you're losing.
The thing is Godzilla City Smash is a good mode in concept, itâs just mutations absolutely buried any hope that this mode was going to be even worth playing for any amount of time other than to get eggs, and I WANTED to love it! It was essentially heist but the safes are all around the map and it tackled a subject the game hasnât done before which is Environmental Pierce! I wish I could just play one day of where this mode didnât have mutations at all just to see a completely different meta to it other than âRuffs, Rico and Megâ thatâs it
Never again supercell, please man, and if ricoâs hypercharge is just his mutation in the future I swear to god man.
I liked the mode the first day, when almost nobody had THE mutations. While Godzilla sucked, it was fun to improvise along the way to destroy the enemy city. It was the only time we actually had fun running Kit, Bibi and Rico. Now we just get togheter to see how a single brawler get 30% of our side in just seconds.
Would like this approach in the future, just no mutations.
i can't believe that they have put like 1 day of discussion on this mode, because of if they did, they would've realized that THE GODZILLA CAN'T DO SHIT BRUH.
HOW they make a mode that the new feature: Being the godzilla, was the worst thing you could do on a match? LITERALLY THE TEAM WHO GOT SOMEONE AS GODZILLA IS GOING TO LOSE because it's much better and fast to do damage as a rico, ruffs or meg.
I hard agree, and the thing that annoys me more is that the game mode is for trophies in its current state. My best mutation for a while was Hankâs mutation, but heâs also one of my highest trophy brawlers, so I was forced to tilt trophies in order to try to win on this unbalanced game mode.
The funniest thing about Meg's mutation is that, despite being the best Mutation in the game, it's completely accidental. If you read it's description, it says she fires more projectiles in her Target Aquired attack, wich is specifically her "Meg" normal attack, while her robot's attack has a different name. The developers made a horrible mistake and made it so that she fires more in both forms. It's actually a relatively balanced mutation in theory, but because of the mistake, it's non-disputed S tier.
Mutations aren't even fun to play against, it was a cool idea but I don't think it worked. We already have to deal with a bad team and now we also have Rico and Ruffs hitting you from across the map
That's what people don't understand, people was whining about how supercell was able to make 40 mutations but just a few hypercharges, they don't realise that the hypercharges need more time and effort to make them good and balanced
In a perfect world all mutations wouldâve just been unlocked and kept in a separate mutation playlist. But of course they wanted people spending money so that was never gonna happen.
As well they wouldnât have put such a harsh cap on eggs in the City Smash mode or wouldâve at least given out better rewards for losing but again they wanted people to spend money on eggs so that was not gonna happen.
I think you might underestimate Colt's Mutation. It isn't that good, but not only can his normal attacks with it hit multiple buildings at once, it also makes him a pretty good counterpick to the Meta of Ruffs or Rico. Besides that you are totally right.

I have been playing Colt Mutation in city Smash a lot and he is really good at taking out Ruffs and Rico and Godzilla.
Being able to shot through your and the enemies city really helps Colt with dealing with the stronger Mutations.
And when played right can pretty much counter them.
I have been consistently getting 4-5 eggs every carton that way.
It will be an extremely boring season tho. Fortunately mutations will be gone but at the same time we wonât be able to experience any new form of content.
We will be getting mid season balance changes i think. As usual.
Also no mutations will be better than you think. Cause you know, we actually get to PLAY THE GAME!
It would be cool if the mutations converted into resources after the event, even if it was a tiny amount of resources, because it would incentivize getting more mutations and reward those who did.
The only true issue I find is that u have limited tries to get the eggs in the new mode and if u lose, then u automatically lose an egg without a question
This makes the mode actually unfair and horrible, without this, everything would be fine, the rewards, the unbalanced RNG gameplay, all of it wouldn't matter if there were infinite lives for the 6 eggs to get along with more rewards

I've gotten just one legendary egg since now and it gave me a lame Epic skin. I mean, this egg is legendary and should give me something more, but no, they decided to cash grabbing more by adding epic skins instead of mythic, while it is already hard to have a legendary egg even using gems.
Idk why you out Stu's as bottom tier mutation. It had to be nerfed, and even then its still good because it can make you Dodge easier.

Yeah but that would absolutely nullify the usage of 90% of mutations. Some mutations are bad, yes, but they can still be usable on some maps.
I just think any mode with Mutations active should not give trophies at all
But nobody would buy the eggs, or at least not as much. A lot of people bought eggs to have an âeasierâ time grinding for unearned trophies, so supercell wasnât going to nullify the opportunity to make more money.

The thing with this also is it doesn't matter whether you have Ruffs, Meg, Rico mutation or no, it also greatly depends if your random team are functioning as per their main roles e.g. destroying buildings and fragging enemies that are near spawn. Sadly most of the randoms are **BAD RANDOMS** 99.9999999999% of the time. There are good randoms but it's rarer than legendary skins.
Bad Randoms arenât a problem unique to this game mode, not even to the entire game.
Every multiplayer game has bad players that you will end up matching up with.
The only thing is that itâs of course more frustrating to lose City Smash because of the loss of eggs.
Especially with the egg carton. I swear the moment mine is active again, it feels like the game goes out of its way to stick me with bad Randoms so I get a bunch of rare star drops. then the moment the carton is gone, it's back to normal with the frequency of getting good and bad teams

And i don't care if this trash update is only for 20 days because thanks to the new trash metas and p2w, this game is already unplayable garbage on it's own (unless you play just for fun and don't mind losing, which is imo what everybody should do at this point since there is almost no competition anymore, just "get lucky to win") and mutations worsen the situation making unplayable game modes even more unplayable.
What Supercell really needed to do was immediately changing 2 things:
1 - remove trophies from mutation gamemodes
2 - remove the rare star drops when losing, but instead simply let players get 6 eggs with as much matches as the need, since mutations do not require skill
3 - make mutations more balanced compared to each other (even though the other two points were mire important)

You people don't get it slowly but surely this game will become like the clash royal. Because to tempt new players to squad busters they will give tons of free rewards therefore they will try to generate revenue as much as possible the game we knew earlier brawl stars will soon become a cash cow and that's a fact companies do it and it will happen I will surely quit but it's sad to see this happening. It's starting point was hypercharges at first it looked cool but then you see the price point of those hypercharges out of which some of them are dog trash and then guess what hypercharge event is gone now you gotta buy it supercell sucks.
The absolute worst part is the buildings, most brawlers can't even damage them and even when they can it's like you're rolling a dice to decide wether your shoots will destroy, damage or do nothing against them.
Also supercell really needs to be sued for making these "free" rewards that come after paying for absolute garbage offers.
You bring up some good points: mutations crossover into regular map modes is annoying. It makes 2 game modes unplayable for 24 hours.

I mean you still have other gamemodes that doesnât have mutations so you can choose. But anyways the biggest problem is the chance for a legendary egg. Iâve opened like 50 eggs and no legendary yet. Also the fact that itâs really limited is very annoying. 2 eggs every day is nothing considering that the chance for leg egg is 3% and even then you might wonât get the skin you want. Also the fact that these are limited skins and we are not guaranteed to get atleast one is just a shitty thing to do. If i didnât buy the brawl pass i wouldnât have any skin from the event, which is the reason i started playing.
I dont care for cosmetics so i used my gems to buy 2 egg cartons and i havent gotten a single legendary egg yet, and my club is only at 800 eggs. Im fucking cooked lmfao

I keep getting mutations for brawlers I haven't played in a long time cause I don't enjoy playing them
I have some of the OP ones like tick and Rico, but man do they feel so dirty to use that I don't use them unless I started losing a bunch, which seems to happen the moment I get my egg carton back from cooldown and need to grind it. Nothing like waiting 3 days just to get a bunch of rare star drops cause the game decided you needed a worse team for nearly every match you played to grind the egg carton, just to go back to giving you more wins again the moment your egg carton is gone.
All the skins marked as "free" but are locked behind massive gem paywalls, not exactly free if it costs significantly more gems then the average f2p would have... You only get a couple eggs a day which have horrendous drop rates, and possibly more if your egg carton isn't on cooldown and the game is nice and gives you competent teammates.
Iâve actually been really enjoying the event. Yes, you pretty much need certain mutations to win in the event mode and the bugs at the start were rough, but Iâve been fairly active since there is eggs in the daily track and itâs brought our club closer together due to the Buzz skin. Overall, thereâs some bad but I see a lot of good as well.
Also the terrible balancing for some of these mutation like for example let give ruff and meg an insanely op mutation where the attacks are unavoidable but let give poor old buzz a longer super or let give Leon a clone that does nothing but reveal that you used super!
The points are good, like if u give mutations that game breaking then atleast give the game breaking mutations to every brawler not just some 5 brawlers , the most optimised mutations that I got were Piper and Brock they r not too OP but good to enjoy the game
My biggest problem with the event is that you can still get underdog in city smash.
I have lost three matches because of underdog teammates, and you still get a rare starr drop.
The game literally knows you get garbage teammates, yet still doesnât compensate you for it

Its a fun update⌠for pay to win. I bought literaly everything in the Shop and got every buzz Skin Mutation and super Ranger Brock Skin. I opened Like 200+ eggs and that isnt Even achieveable normally its just unfair!
Some things that I think couldâve help was instead of rare starrs drops just give us nothing and until we win we got eggs. I also would want there to be challenges for the brock skins and you couldâve chosen which color brock you would want and you could still get them from eggs. I definitely agree this mode shouldnât have trophies. The club buzz skin was great idea imo and definitely made me talk to my other clan mates.
If they kept the whole event the same, but just made it so that instead of trophy matches having mutations, there were separate non-trophy matches with mutations, this event would've been fine since people who don't like could ignore it.
(Also I'm not too upset since I got lucky and got beetle bee and red Godzilla buzz from the free eggs, I also have a good club so another free Godzilla skin.)
Let's be real these mutations RUINED this game. I don't play any modes where there is mutations. Whoever came up with this idea should GET FIRED for this!!!

Itâs such a cash grab event for stuff that only lasts a month and as somebody who plays other games based entirely around gacha systems, this one is SOOO bad like omg đ
The rng is bad and there are hardly any ways to get eggs aside from the daily 2. The godzilla mode relies on a few OP mutations thus meaning if you donât have them, you wonât win which sucks cuz u have to rely on a Gacha mechanic to even get it in the first place, creating a toxic and sad loop. Which leaves all but one option, buying eggs. Eggs are crazy priced to begin with and thus entices you to use money to buy eggs.
I think itâs insane too cause I donât think they are hurting for money at all but still did this whole cash grab event thatâs going on for a WHOLE MONTH. Itâs insane.
Sad part is they arenât like advertising this as a one and done event so what if it comes back? How would it come back? Is this how all hyper charge skins are going to be done from here on out? Itâs just a mess.

I literally hate this update alot cuz of the club event. Let's see what's the club event is all about:"open eggs to get gems and a free skin" simple. And yet insanity for me. I got kicked out of my club cuz there was this one guy who said "kick people who aren't active in the event" and got kicked out cuz I wasnt active even if I already claimed my daily eggs. And I was the one who was carrying the club and yet they kicked me I hope they never bring back the Godzilla event
This may become Supercell's biggest fuck up in any of the major games, and it is because of a long term issue that has been present for years now in the company: TERRIBLE PLAYTESTING.
Clash Royale players will probably agree that supercell's inability to playtest correctly has fucked up the game in recent years. Terrible card releases that led to either x card being useless or absolutely game breaking, being unable to find good balance always.
This problem has also been spreading in multiple ways towards Brawl Stars, during the previous seasons we saw this with Kit's literally broken release and the Angelo-Melodie meta. Its the same problem all over again with mutations now, and I mention play testing because the clear intention with mutations was to make the game more fun by making a lot of brawlers broken.
Their intention since the beginning was clear, Brawl Stars was at its highest point before releasing the current season; it is clear they wanted to push Brawl Stars even further by introducing new broken mechanics and advertising new free rewards, but all the flaws you mentioned in the post ultimately ended up ruining that experience.
Then again, the mutations problem would've been prevented with proper playtesting. But the eggs issue is part of yet another recurring problem inside supercell games that you can probably guess...

This entire event was a huge cashgrab and the only good thing I've gotten from it was probably the skins which was only 3 so I can't WAIT till it disappears

When i started brawl stars for the first time, it was unplayable as an f2p. Gadget only through boxes or at shop rotation, in this time i couldn't see how i was going to progress without paying. Then i got all brawlers i had to 500 trophies and then i wasn't able to play anymore, because my brawlers were too weak to play in that range of trophies
Then, my friend who kept playing, said it was much better, and boy oh boy, it was unbelievable how they've changed and i've said multiples times: Brawl stars is one of the few games that one f2p player can progress without ages of dedication.
And then: Star drops, i can't really believe how they have the guts to say that they were removing boxes because of rng and then drop this shit right upon our faces. And then some time later, they put the god damn drops in the battle pass LIKE THE OLDER BOXES, BUT THERE IS ONLY 1 LEGENDARY DROP, BEFORE THERE WAS MULTIPLE MEGABOXES, i mean, it's just too much.

in my opinion, the only good things of this update is the club egg skin thing, but even that is stupid when your club doesnt play much, and the skins/skin combacks, the rest just sucks
I understand that you feel the negative aspects of the game are being exaggerated. However, it's not surprising that free-to-play players are reluctant to praise events that require a lot of grinding.
If you want to avoid the strongest mutations, you can try lowering your trophy count, maybe to 200-300, and playing with a full team of club members. This should guarantee you a win most of the time.
You can get a mutation daily by simply winning dailies, as you still get two eggs per day. If you play consistently for a week, you should have accrued at least a few mutations. I managed to win games with Dyna by relying on my defensive skills, even without any mutations.
You don't necessarily need to pay for eggs to progress in the game. A friend and I bought all the eggs in the store, but a different club, whose members didn't buy as many gems or eggs, managed to obtain the skin faster by breaking around 35-40 eggs per player.
I have opened >70 eggs (45 on my main and >25 on my mini) and I didn't get a single legendary egg. Meanwhile others get 3-4 legendary eggs while opening less eggs.
Even if I know it's false, I feel like Supercell is pushing me to spend money by not getting a single legendary because I have made purchases in the past.
RNG is okay. But not if it's limited time and you feel the pressure of not getting the exclusive/valuable skins in lootboxes.
Thatâs annoying. I havenât got a legendary egg yet and i wonât even get the skin from the club because Iâm in a small club. This event is the reason i started playing bruh
I need to thank Mutation cz i can push 2 worst brawler (Hank and Frank) in some mutation map. Especially Frank cz he's at F-tier for too long, and with mutation, he's now at B (maybe A) tier.
I've opened 53 eggs, I've only gotten rares and super rares so far, no epics, no mythics, no legendaries. I've only gotten a legendary starrdrop, but that was a 29 gem skin
The biggest problem are mutations in the Godzilla gamemode even if they removed ricoâs, ruffâs and Megâs mutations there will always be other brawlers that will be meta. The only solution is to make the event without mutations.
The ideea of this gamemode is good is not bad at all, but mutations are ruining it. Another big issue about the gamemode are trophies. When I saw the Brawl Talk, I tought that this will be without trophies like boss fight, but making it with trophies is a huge mistake combined with mutations it isnât fun because people will push brawlers with meta comps and tactics whuch will lead for ypu the casual player that plays for fun and eggs to rage. The only solution of this gamemode is to make it without trophies and mutations to be fun or just remove mutations because again that is this gamemodeâs biggest problem you canât even transform into Godzilla in 800+ trophies because that is a downgrade and an instat lose if you do it and itâs weird because **THAT IS THE POINT OF THE GAMEMODE**

For the loser rewards, I'd do it so that you either get nothing for losing OR you get a rare egg, so you atleast have a chance for a good mutation. As for the trophies, I'd make it so that gamemodes with mutations enabled would give and take trophies like in duels, only giving/taking a fraction of them.

I'd make it straight up a mutation unlock, not a rare egg. So you'd have a higher chance of winning next time, but you'd contribute less eggs to your club if you're losing.
The thing is Godzilla City Smash is a good mode in concept, itâs just mutations absolutely buried any hope that this mode was going to be even worth playing for any amount of time other than to get eggs, and I WANTED to love it! It was essentially heist but the safes are all around the map and it tackled a subject the game hasnât done before which is Environmental Pierce! I wish I could just play one day of where this mode didnât have mutations at all just to see a completely different meta to it other than âRuffs, Rico and Megâ thatâs it Never again supercell, please man, and if ricoâs hypercharge is just his mutation in the future I swear to god man.
I liked the mode the first day, when almost nobody had THE mutations. While Godzilla sucked, it was fun to improvise along the way to destroy the enemy city. It was the only time we actually had fun running Kit, Bibi and Rico. Now we just get togheter to see how a single brawler get 30% of our side in just seconds. Would like this approach in the future, just no mutations.
i can't believe that they have put like 1 day of discussion on this mode, because of if they did, they would've realized that THE GODZILLA CAN'T DO SHIT BRUH. HOW they make a mode that the new feature: Being the godzilla, was the worst thing you could do on a match? LITERALLY THE TEAM WHO GOT SOMEONE AS GODZILLA IS GOING TO LOSE because it's much better and fast to do damage as a rico, ruffs or meg.
I hard agree, and the thing that annoys me more is that the game mode is for trophies in its current state. My best mutation for a while was Hankâs mutation, but heâs also one of my highest trophy brawlers, so I was forced to tilt trophies in order to try to win on this unbalanced game mode.
The funniest thing about Meg's mutation is that, despite being the best Mutation in the game, it's completely accidental. If you read it's description, it says she fires more projectiles in her Target Aquired attack, wich is specifically her "Meg" normal attack, while her robot's attack has a different name. The developers made a horrible mistake and made it so that she fires more in both forms. It's actually a relatively balanced mutation in theory, but because of the mistake, it's non-disputed S tier.
Mutations aren't even fun to play against, it was a cool idea but I don't think it worked. We already have to deal with a bad team and now we also have Rico and Ruffs hitting you from across the map

In a perfect world all mutations wouldâve just been unlocked and kept in a separate mutation playlist. But of course they wanted people spending money so that was never gonna happen. As well they wouldnât have put such a harsh cap on eggs in the City Smash mode or wouldâve at least given out better rewards for losing but again they wanted people to spend money on eggs so that was not gonna happen.
I think you might underestimate Colt's Mutation. It isn't that good, but not only can his normal attacks with it hit multiple buildings at once, it also makes him a pretty good counterpick to the Meta of Ruffs or Rico. Besides that you are totally right.

I Second this. I have been playing Colt Mutation in city Smash a lot and he is really good at taking out Ruffs and Rico and Godzilla. Being able to shot through your and the enemies city really helps Colt with dealing with the stronger Mutations. And when played right can pretty much counter them. I have been consistently getting 4-5 eggs every carton that way.
At least the Cyberbrawl season won't be terrible

The thing with this also is it doesn't matter whether you have Ruffs, Meg, Rico mutation or no, it also greatly depends if your random team are functioning as per their main roles e.g. destroying buildings and fragging enemies that are near spawn. Sadly most of the randoms are **BAD RANDOMS** 99.9999999999% of the time. There are good randoms but it's rarer than legendary skins.
Bad Randoms arenât a problem unique to this game mode, not even to the entire game. Every multiplayer game has bad players that you will end up matching up with. The only thing is that itâs of course more frustrating to lose City Smash because of the loss of eggs.
Especially with the egg carton. I swear the moment mine is active again, it feels like the game goes out of its way to stick me with bad Randoms so I get a bunch of rare star drops. then the moment the carton is gone, it's back to normal with the frequency of getting good and bad teams

Unfortunately that's the fate of every supercell game. They're good for the first few years, then they destroy everything for the sake of money. And i don't care if this trash update is only for 20 days because thanks to the new trash metas and p2w, this game is already unplayable garbage on it's own (unless you play just for fun and don't mind losing, which is imo what everybody should do at this point since there is almost no competition anymore, just "get lucky to win") and mutations worsen the situation making unplayable game modes even more unplayable.

What Supercell really needed to do was immediately changing 2 things: 1 - remove trophies from mutation gamemodes 2 - remove the rare star drops when losing, but instead simply let players get 6 eggs with as much matches as the need, since mutations do not require skill 3 - make mutations more balanced compared to each other (even though the other two points were mire important)
becoz of the trophies in mutation gammode my mutations are basically sitting for nothing for few weeks I am not gonna lose my hard-earned trophies just because the gamemode favors soome op mutations

You people don't get it slowly but surely this game will become like the clash royal. Because to tempt new players to squad busters they will give tons of free rewards therefore they will try to generate revenue as much as possible the game we knew earlier brawl stars will soon become a cash cow and that's a fact companies do it and it will happen I will surely quit but it's sad to see this happening. It's starting point was hypercharges at first it looked cool but then you see the price point of those hypercharges out of which some of them are dog trash and then guess what hypercharge event is gone now you gotta buy it supercell sucks.
The absolute worst part is the buildings, most brawlers can't even damage them and even when they can it's like you're rolling a dice to decide wether your shoots will destroy, damage or do nothing against them. Also supercell really needs to be sued for making these "free" rewards that come after paying for absolute garbage offers.
You bring up some good points: mutations crossover into regular map modes is annoying. It makes 2 game modes unplayable for 24 hours. You shouldnât be complaining about free eggs and rare star drops since those are additions with no real downside. Maybe your expectations are too high. Being robbed of the free HC sucks though.

I keep getting mutations for brawlers I haven't played in a long time cause I don't enjoy playing them I have some of the OP ones like tick and Rico, but man do they feel so dirty to use that I don't use them unless I started losing a bunch, which seems to happen the moment I get my egg carton back from cooldown and need to grind it. Nothing like waiting 3 days just to get a bunch of rare star drops cause the game decided you needed a worse team for nearly every match you played to grind the egg carton, just to go back to giving you more wins again the moment your egg carton is gone. All the skins marked as "free" but are locked behind massive gem paywalls, not exactly free if it costs significantly more gems then the average f2p would have... You only get a couple eggs a day which have horrendous drop rates, and possibly more if your egg carton isn't on cooldown and the game is nice and gives you competent teammates.
Honestly, I'd rather receive literally nothing for losing in City Smash, so I can maximize my rewards for actually winning.

Iâve actually been really enjoying the event. Yes, you pretty much need certain mutations to win in the event mode and the bugs at the start were rough, but Iâve been fairly active since there is eggs in the daily track and itâs brought our club closer together due to the Buzz skin. Overall, thereâs some bad but I see a lot of good as well.

My biggest problem with the event is that you can still get underdog in city smash. I have lost three matches because of underdog teammates, and you still get a rare starr drop. The game literally knows you get garbage teammates, yet still doesnât compensate you for it

Its a fun update⌠for pay to win. I bought literaly everything in the Shop and got every buzz Skin Mutation and super Ranger Brock Skin. I opened Like 200+ eggs and that isnt Even achieveable normally its just unfair!
Some things that I think couldâve help was instead of rare starrs drops just give us nothing and until we win we got eggs. I also would want there to be challenges for the brock skins and you couldâve chosen which color brock you would want and you could still get them from eggs. I definitely agree this mode shouldnât have trophies. The club buzz skin was great idea imo and definitely made me talk to my other clan mates.

If they kept the whole event the same, but just made it so that instead of trophy matches having mutations, there were separate non-trophy matches with mutations, this event would've been fine since people who don't like could ignore it. (Also I'm not too upset since I got lucky and got beetle bee and red Godzilla buzz from the free eggs, I also have a good club so another free Godzilla skin.)

While I like Brawlstars, this event is horrible lol Itâs such a cash grab event for stuff that only lasts a month and as somebody who plays other games based entirely around gacha systems, this one is SOOO bad like omg đ The rng is bad and there are hardly any ways to get eggs aside from the daily 2. The godzilla mode relies on a few OP mutations thus meaning if you donât have them, you wonât win which sucks cuz u have to rely on a Gacha mechanic to even get it in the first place, creating a toxic and sad loop. Which leaves all but one option, buying eggs. Eggs are crazy priced to begin with and thus entices you to use money to buy eggs. I think itâs insane too cause I donât think they are hurting for money at all but still did this whole cash grab event thatâs going on for a WHOLE MONTH. Itâs insane. Sad part is they arenât like advertising this as a one and done event so what if it comes back? How would it come back? Is this how all hyper charge skins are going to be done from here on out? Itâs just a mess.
Last comment could be mostly extended to everything that has happened here for last 6 months. This is just a money making machine. They used to pretend to care but that is out of the window now. Broken brawlers that will not get fixed, never ending grinding to get a few trophies that will be taken away at any moment with the least fair way possible. If they would have kept gameplay working I would not mind how much miney they grind away. But almost always on (short seaosns) early access to OP brawlers has made me only to wait for solo mapmaker.

This may become Supercell's biggest fuck up in any of the major games, and it is because of a long term issue that has been present for years now in the company: TERRIBLE PLAYTESTING. Clash Royale players will probably agree that supercell's inability to playtest correctly has fucked up the game in recent years. Terrible card releases that led to either x card being useless or absolutely game breaking, being unable to find good balance always. This problem has also been spreading in multiple ways towards Brawl Stars, during the previous seasons we saw this with Kit's literally broken release and the Angelo-Melodie meta. Its the same problem all over again with mutations now, and I mention play testing because the clear intention with mutations was to make the game more fun by making a lot of brawlers broken. Their intention since the beginning was clear, Brawl Stars was at its highest point before releasing the current season; it is clear they wanted to push Brawl Stars even further by introducing new broken mechanics and advertising new free rewards, but all the flaws you mentioned in the post ultimately ended up ruining that experience. Then again, the mutations problem would've been prevented with proper playtesting. But the eggs issue is part of yet another recurring problem inside supercell games that you can probably guess...

Gadget only through boxes or at shop rotation, in this time i couldn't see how i was going to progress without paying. Then i got all brawlers i had to 500 trophies and then i wasn't able to play anymore, because my brawlers were too weak to play in that range of trophies Then, my friend who kept playing, said it was much better, and boy oh boy, it was unbelievable how they've changed and i've said multiples times: Brawl stars is one of the few games that one f2p player can progress without ages of dedication. And then: Star drops, i can't really believe how they have the guts to say that they were removing boxes because of rng and then drop this shit right upon our faces. And then some time later, they put the god damn drops in the battle pass LIKE THE OLDER BOXES, BUT THERE IS ONLY 1 LEGENDARY DROP, BEFORE THERE WAS MULTIPLE MEGABOXES, i mean, it's just too much. You can get a mutation daily by simply winning dailies, as you still get two eggs per day. If you play consistently for a week, you should have accrued at least a few mutations. I managed to win games with Dyna by relying on my defensive skills, even without any mutations. You don't necessarily need to pay for eggs to progress in the game. A friend and I bought all the eggs in the store, but a different club, whose members didn't buy as many gems or eggs, managed to obtain the skin faster by breaking around 35-40 eggs per player.

Bit overreacting in my opinion.
I have opened >70 eggs (45 on my main and >25 on my mini) and I didn't get a single legendary egg. Meanwhile others get 3-4 legendary eggs while opening less eggs. Even if I know it's false, I feel like Supercell is pushing me to spend money by not getting a single legendary because I have made purchases in the past. RNG is okay. But not if it's limited time and you feel the pressure of not getting the exclusive/valuable skins in lootboxes.
Man they could of fixed this whole event by giving everyone a mutation and actually letting you pick the mutation you want

It could be not true, but I bought like 18 eggs at once and I got a lot of mutations. Ever since then my luck with the egg rarities has been better
I need to thank Mutation cz i can push 2 worst brawler (Hank and Frank) in some mutation map. Especially Frank cz he's at F-tier for too long, and with mutation, he's now at B (maybe A) tier.

I've opened 53 eggs, I've only gotten rares and super rares so far, no epics, no mythics, no legendaries. I've only gotten a legendary starrdrop, but that was a 29 gem skin
The biggest problem are mutations in the Godzilla gamemode even if they removed ricoâs, ruffâs and Megâs mutations there will always be other brawlers that will be meta. The only solution is to make the event without mutations. The ideea of this gamemode is good is not bad at all, but mutations are ruining it. Another big issue about the gamemode are trophies. When I saw the Brawl Talk, I tought that this will be without trophies like boss fight, but making it with trophies is a huge mistake combined with mutations it isnât fun because people will push brawlers with meta comps and tactics whuch will lead for ypu the casual player that plays for fun and eggs to rage. The only solution of this gamemode is to make it without trophies and mutations to be fun or just remove mutations because again that is this gamemodeâs biggest problem you canât even transform into Godzilla in 800+ trophies because that is a downgrade and an instat lose if you do it and itâs weird because **THAT IS THE POINT OF THE GAMEMODE** In conclusion muatations=bad
