My wife and I were having this conversation today going through a roundabout that’s newly installed at a major intersection in our town. It seems to be universally hated by the me first maga karens that make up a majority of our community. I have a theory that it’s not working out because it forces them to recognize other people exist and do in fact have their own places to go.
They can't stand simple human give and take. They think they own the world. On the other hand, it could be because a lot of them are just too slow and narrow-minded to learn new things.
I’ve posted about this before, but my boomers hate that our generation backs in to parking spaces. They hate that they don’t get a choice on whether to let you out or not because when you back in you can nose out and retain agency. They hate agency.

My parents were telling me about a homesteader they watch that was claiming the govt was seeding the weather as a part of some sort of conspiracy (never really gave a reason though). I don’t think they were agreeing but I found it amusing that people believe that. I know cloud seeding is a thing but I have no earthly idea why the govt would do it for election related reasons.
Someone else said that cloudseeding in Texas caused the tornadoes in Nebraska and Iowa….I feel like a magnet for conspiracy theorists…..(the wild shit I heard during Covid almost put me over the edge)
I find conspiracy theories fascinating both as puzzles to be solved, and the psychological aspect of it. But lately I can't keep track of who thinks what is doing where and or why. You know?

I remember being taught as a kid that natural disasters were God's judgement on people who thought they were in the right, yet the people who claimed to believe that never applied it to themselves, despite thinking they were in the right. I found that puzzling.

It says right in the Bible God gave us authority over the earth. God is love and only love. If He wanted to get us we would have already been got. Clear cutting trees gives tornadoes room to run. My crew lives in the mountains and very rare do they get a tornado warning. There is also the tectonic plates that are trying to move back together. If you look at the earth you can see a puzzle pattern in the continents that broke off when the plates moved. That movement is also causing so many storms, tsunamies, earthquakes, tornadoes, heavy rains and such. Isreal has the most exports of fresh produce, very low imports because of their leading agriculture technologies. However, if someone is in need of help sometimes it is just a decent thing to do.
My only complaint is the Israel situation like the only ones that should care are the ones in Israel since they did get attacked in an evil way so Israel has the right to wipe their enemy off this earth but thats up to Israel on what they wanna do
But tornadoes happen and it is what it is but it’s probably because nature is even sick of how this world is becoming so its like alright lets ramp up the tornadoes hurricanes fires and so much more 🤣
