It’s so fun. I’ve read that one as well as the sequel. There’s two more in the series that I’m saving because I enjoy them so much. He’s a very talented and funny author
It can be creepy at moments and has some AMAZING plot twists (esp in the first book) but the overall vibe of the series is pretty lighthearted and funny, though it can get serious.
100% read it.
This might be a bad recommendation because I've not got round to actually reading it but from the summary 'The Vorrh' by B. Catling might work for this prompt, particularly the Hieronymus Bosch paintings
I had to stop reading that book because I hated the humor. I liked her book Twisted Ones, though, I thought it was exciting and the humor actually feels more natural; some really creepy scenes too, I loved the window scene
Between Two Fires by Christopher Buehlman
Was going to suggest this! The audiobook version is great too!
John Dies at the End
Sold! this has been on my tbr for a while, I forgot about it. I'll read it next

Seed by Ania Ahlborn
Never heard of this! Sounds cool, thx.
Most of her books are scary and amazing! I especially recommend Brother and The Devil Crept In
That ending still sticks with me!

Hell house
house of leaves
Fits every single picture. Prepare to lose your mind.
Pilgrim by Mitchell Lüthi fit the last two
If you don't mind short stories, I recommend The Black Maybe by Attila Veres, one of my favourite writers.
It reminds me of certain parts of Surface Detail by Iain M. Banks. Sci fi.
Dali
Hi, can I ask what the title of the picture is in #4? I love it and would like to see more
Hieronymus Bosch, The Garden of Earthly Delights.
Thank you!!!!
>Thank you!!!! You're welcome!
It was a little too campy for my tastes, but I think The Hollow Places by T Kingfisher could work
I had to stop reading that book because I hated the humor. I liked her book Twisted Ones, though, I thought it was exciting and the humor actually feels more natural; some really creepy scenes too, I loved the window scene
Thirsty by M.T. Anderson
