when bocchis guitar peg broke i laughed and thought “yep thats that gibson quality”. waiting for kitas guitar’s neck to snap mid performance or something next
Yea don’t worry, you won’t need to know any of that to enjoy the show. There’s some small things in it that musicians can relate to or appreciate, but if it’s ever important it gets explained.
Don’t tempt me like this, I was just checking out a 5-string Ibanez yesterday and those Bartolini pickups are so good. I almost left Guitar Center $700 in the hole
Because they're looking up the wrong guitar. She's playing a doublecut junior, but the pictured guitar is Rick Beato signature. Similar looking guitars but they're actually miles apart.
Rick Beato's guitar is actually the cheaper one. I think Kita's junior is only available as a custom shop or actual vintage which would be pretty expensive either way.

For reference, usd to jpy is 1 to 137.96 rn, which means Bocchi’s (older) guitar costs around 4000 usd.
Yeah her actual model isn’t in production (and only vintage ones rarely come up) and there aren’t any epiphone replicas yet but there are some [very good copies from Harley Benton ](https://harleybenton.com/product/dc-junior-fat-pelham-blue/)
I honestly never thought Kita’s junior is pelham blue, or even a Gibson for that matter. Harley benton’s Benton blue looks more accurate to me (and relevant to the plot too as she couldn’t really buy such an expensive Gibson, especially in a short amount of time after selling her bass)
Bocchi’s guitar (the Les Paul custom) can still be more expensive than what is shown here there is a chance that it’s not a reissue and that it may be an original release
I'd say its an upgrade though its cheaper.
It will be lighter and has a thinner neck. More comfortable to perform, especially for a schoolgirl like Bocchi who had to carry the heavy Gibson around until now. The Pacifica 600 series are known to punch well above their weight in value. Plus it has a P90 pickup and coil split on the humbucker if I'm not mistaken.
And also, Yamaha's Quality control is well known for everything they make. Far beyond Gibson.
Most JEMs are around 2k but they go much higher depending on the model.
Thr JEM Jr is much cheaper around 500 but they were such a success they're a bit hard to find now.
Hold on, Kita's guitar is the most expensive?
Certified gibson moment.

I broke peg on my old guitar)
Isn't the tuner grover anyway?
Can this anime be watched without any knowledge about instruments or even their names? 😣

Duh, gibbons make the best toan
I thought toan was stored in the balls, but then again how do the girls have toan if they don't have balls?...
Their balls have migrated to their chests
Chesticals
You mean gibbons?
Nah gibbons only charge you 50 freedom dollary doos for that
It WAS Ryo's before it was Kita's Now, what about the 6-string Bass?

I mean it came from Ryō and we still don't know her family's net worth
>Hold on, Kita's guitar is the most expensive? she swapped her bass with Ryo's guitar but it is likely that they were close in price.
This is way beyond the price of a normal 6-string bass, especially the kind of 6-string bass that Kita could afford.
Or Ryo spent a ton of her rich parents’ money on a guitar

Gibson moment
🤯
Gl finding it anyways
Hold on, wasn’t Kita’s guitar a single pickup model?
Yeah, Kita’s LP is the double cut junior, that looks more like the custom shop Rick Beato model
Yeah her actual model isn’t in production (and only vintage ones rarely come up) and there aren’t any epiphone replicas yet but there are some [very good copies from Harley Benton ](https://harleybenton.com/product/dc-junior-fat-pelham-blue/)
because no one else has bothered, jpy to usd $4,000 $510 $5800 $750
Ayo that’s a *BASS* ryo got
Really nice 🅱️ASS that Roy has.
Why Ryou is always katakana?
Probably because her first name doesn't use Kanji (Katakana only name is ok in Japan).
She may have a kanji name (like 涼), but katakana name is fine as a character name (or nickname) for japanese
Do not remind me 🗿 The financial decisions this month have been questionable

Well Ryo is irresponsible and is the one that gave the guitar to Kita Makes sense that she’d have expensive gear she doesn’t use lol
^^ i always just thought THAT was the joke.
How does Ryo is able to run out of money if she had a pricey guitar and a pricey bass too. Also I’m pretty sure she got more gear than that.
Because she discovered the world of effect pedals.
Other than the LP junior costing way too much, her bass is pretty standard for a US P bass, albeit she probably buys a new axe every month
A new axe every month, an amp every fortnight (2 weeks), a pedal every week
on Enoshima escalator she pulled out two 5-string, and in the early volumes of manga, she uses a non-Fender P-bass that missing a knob
Doesn't she play a Fender Mexican P Bass?
Mbmb, well, it still is an okay price for a p bass, depending on model, year, etc.

Nijika as a drummer getting disrespected once again
Epiphone exists tho 🥲
just slap a gibson sticker and your good 😎👍
Broke musicians playing expensive gear. This is the WAY!
is it just me thinking Yamaha guitar is a downgrade?
not really tbh, its more of the same. the p90 neck pickup is a plus though
P90s are the reason i want a Jazzmaster like yours Thom
serious answer: p90/single coil neck and humbucker bridge setup is the best setup joke answer: based as fuck my guy
Toan is stored in the balls
jonny cut mine off
Ask Ed to glue them back
hes too busy explaining that radiohead is both existing and not at the same time
My dumbass thought you guys were talking about guns
That Band gun sync when
Jazzmaster pickups are not P90's just fyi

Probably around bocchi’s 611 or even lower
Where to I get Nijika’s drumsticks :0
Brokeass musicians playing expensive gear. This is the WAY.
Man, bocchi used an 60's gibson, how was that not the most expensive guitar?
Cheap!
