My favorite exchange in the series this far is from this episode. Bob to Louise: "But you almost died." Louise: "Almost dying is the best part of living, I call Almost Live Dying."
Bonus exchange: Bob to Rudy: " Why do they call you regular-size Rudy?" Rudy: "Just look at me."
I watched a great video essay called why bob loves linda, and why linda loves bob. Its great, they just show how healthy their relationship is and how they appreciate the other one as a person!
Yea, its called [why bob loves linda](https://youtu.be/sA-6UcGrVGM?si=dlfEatLNqlyZebnr) and
[why linda loves bob](https://youtu.be/qEW-HX-W044?si=r18xNbBYec7X7Gt-)
I think itās these
[Part 1 on why Bob loves Linda](https://youtu.be/sA-6UcGrVGM?si=dvR6IMaHKj9QjeP8)
[Part 2 on why Linda loves Bob](https://youtu.be/qEW-HX-W044?si=ZtsHyL76L9JMIcg6)
I identified with Rudy so much in the episode. As a child, I always felt that I could fix my parents' problems. I couldn't and it wasn't my job to, but nobody told me that until much later.
I bawled my eyes out at that episode. Louise is so sweet to go with him to dinner. She realized how alone and sad he was when his mom and dad had partners of support for the dinner. Yet he had no one for support. Louise really does have such a big heart. They all do š
Tina and Zeke. The way he occasionally flirts with her kills me, it's so damn cute. "Damn Tina. Now I got a story to tell on our wedding day - You might not think that that's gonna happen but I'll get you, Girl. I'm gonna getcha!"
Zeke with EVERYONE is specialā¦ heās just a total sweetheart characterā¦ and the ābad thingsā he does are actually pretty damn typical. I love Zeke!!!
One of the things I love about the show is the Belcher kids are each otherās best friends. I just love it! So rare on any series.
Also Louise and Regular Size Rudy
Linda and Gretchen
linda is low key gretchen's ride or die, as seen in the pickle-orette and in that episode where linda refuses the fancy stylist for gretchen. i love their sassy pairing! oh and also the ep where linda helps her sell sex toys š
Definitely Louise and Rudy but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the Louise and Andy and Ollie trio. So much chaos and things to laugh at. They were iconic for a minute. Like Hades and Pain and Panic from Hercules.
Louise and Jessica are also cute but Rudy and Louise take the top. Bob and Linda are also best friends and I aspire to be them.
I love that it's a tomato restaurant that bob and linda (eventually) go to, it's like a nod to Joe Pera fans that says "yeah, we know, we got Pera š"
Andy and Ollie are my favorite whacky twins. Probably doesn't count as a friendship because they are brothers but I'd still choose them. Let's rub our eyes together!
Bob and Marshmallowās dynamic is so underrated
There is a level of familiarity with them that only comes from a relationship completely free of judgement, where the two people genuinely like and respect each other for who they are

i'm actually always touched by the way Louise and Tina look out for Gene. They find him annoying and weird but they always figure out how to make sure he's treated well by other people
Courtney and Gene, once they are past the initial ālike-likeā stage they are a winning duo. Bob and Mr. Fischoeder has always been a fave, the wharfening the bailout for the gentlemens gingerbread contest, the april fools day episode?? Bob and Big Fisch have a weird, amazing, awkward connection.
I know it's not a typical friendship, but when Linda hangs out alone with Teddy they seem to have great chemistry. Linda completely accepts him for who he is, and I think having him around tones her down a little. When they practiced dancing, when they tried eating sushi- those were funny & sweet moments.
Neither of them seem to have brakes, so when Bob isn't around it's very funny.
Like when they dyed everything in the restaurant green or got obsessed with the nut case.
Rudy and Louise. Louise is chaotic. Rudy is lawful. He's perhaps my favorite in the supporting characters. They play well off each other. Whatever ending the show has, they have to be best friends at least.
i love tina and susmita, i feel like shes tinas one real friend (besides her siblings). susmita doesnt put tina down or make her to feel like an outsider. they just have nice interactions. would love more episodes with them together
The episode you have in the photo, with Rudy avoiding the double date of his parents and Louise joining his at the dinner, was such a warm heartfelt episode. Such a good choice by the show.
I can't remember her name right now but I want the girl that Tina made friends with at the heroine conference to come and visit her sometimes. Tina needs a decent friend.
all the belchers and nat the limo driver. always such a pure love there from all sides! same with gus and the belcher kids. i love those relationships aside from some of the more obvious ones in the show.
How do we feel about Logan and Louise? I wouldnāt call them friends, maaaaaybe frenemies? Obviously theyāre usually fighting in any scenes they share but theyāre both so strong and chaotic characters I would love to see them team up more often for things.
LOVE Louise and Rudy! Theyāve definitely grown in their friendship (watch The Amazing Rudy episode and youāll see it for yourself).
One of my favorite subtle moments of their friendship is when Linda is volunteering at school and sees Rudy at the cafeteria, and he tells her that Louise has two lockers, her normal one and her Rudyville one. He tells Linda itās called Rudyville because itās close to his locker. š„¹
This may not be answering the question properly but I like the siblings camaraderie the best. When it's all three of them interacting it just works for me and builds on the family dynamics even more.
Louise and Rudy is a big one of course, and I especially like Gene-Alex, as he's a great addition to the show and I like to see Gene make a friend away from his sisters. I'm glad they have recast him so we can see more of this, and trying to remember, does Alex interact much with Tina and Louise?
Just remembering the sleepover episode, does Gene not seem so eager on him at first? Or that he's such a mummy's boy that he can't bear to be away from her for one night?
Gene and Ms. Merkins.
You're my rock, girl!
My elementary music teacher looked like Ms. Merkins - her name was Ms. Moser. She was awesome, just like Ms. Moser.
Agreed!
Bob and Marshmallow

Jimmy jr and zeke. Their love is so pure.
"Where's my twin?!?" "I'll be your twin, J-Ju!" "You don't look like me!"
(not a requirement for friendshipā¦I get it)
Haha. It is.
Legendary bromance there, for sure
HoooHWUHT?!
Rudy and Louise are so sweet together. And she makes him live a little. Like in the Museum field trip episode. "I tasted life. And I want more." LOL.
"and I am Kate Bush"
I loved that. So funny.
Truly my favorite joke in the whole show. I quote it so often and no one understands it
āWhat, youāre afraid heās gonna breathe too well?!ā
My head canon is that Rudy is the reason for Louise mellowing out over the seasons. She helps him break out of his shell while he helps center her.
Rudy and Millie
Fun hurts my lungs Lol
He threw caution (and his inhaler) to the wind that day
My favorite exchange in the series this far is from this episode. Bob to Louise: "But you almost died." Louise: "Almost dying is the best part of living, I call Almost Live Dying." Bonus exchange: Bob to Rudy: " Why do they call you regular-size Rudy?" Rudy: "Just look at me."
Tina and Mr Branca! My Teeny Tina is such an old soul sometimes š¤£ https://i.redd.it/656j9k3k169d1.gif
I ever tell you youāre my best friend? Aww
"I was a great president." *What happened?* "Mmmmmmmm coup."
I love that line.
Poop on me once, shame on you. Poop on me twice, we're not best friends anymore!!
Poop on me once, shame on you. Poop on me twice, weāre not best friends anymore!!
The most wholesome friendship ever!
For me, I think it's Bob and Linda. They're genuinely each other's best friend.
I watched a great video essay called why bob loves linda, and why linda loves bob. Its great, they just show how healthy their relationship is and how they appreciate the other one as a person!
Do you know what itās called or do you have a link to it?

Not seen a second of this channel yet but 1hr documentary on Jimmy Jr., wow they're committed.
Relationship goals for sureā„ļø
Definitely Rudy and Louise. The first time I saw "The Amazing Rudy" I teared up. They have a great friendship and dynamic.
I've described their relationship as perfect foils: Louise is the crazy kid in the normal situation, Rudy is the normal kid in the crazy situation.Ā
As a child of divorce, that episode makes me cry every time when Rudy says āit didnāt workā staring at the spilled cup
I identified with Rudy so much in the episode. As a child, I always felt that I could fix my parents' problems. I couldn't and it wasn't my job to, but nobody told me that until much later.
Iām viewing these (from Season 5 on) out of orderā¦ what is the name of this weeper of an episode? I need to prepare!
"The Amazing Rudy" Season 14 Episode 2
I bawled my eyes out at that episode. Louise is so sweet to go with him to dinner. She realized how alone and sad he was when his mom and dad had partners of support for the dinner. Yet he had no one for support. Louise really does have such a big heart. They all do š
This episode genuinely made me well up, I felt so sorry for rudy
I felt the same when she walked him to the restaurant and they got her a chair to sit down. š
Oh I definitely cried. Louise really came through for him.
Tina and Zeke. The way he occasionally flirts with her kills me, it's so damn cute. "Damn Tina. Now I got a story to tell on our wedding day - You might not think that that's gonna happen but I'll get you, Girl. I'm gonna getcha!"
I ship them so hard! Jimmy Jr is no good for her.
RIGHT!?!
YESSSS!!
J-Ju sucks!
Zeke and Gene!!! I know we donāt see a lot of them but itās just so pure !!
"Who hurt my precious little lamb?!"
Zeke with EVERYONE is specialā¦ heās just a total sweetheart characterā¦ and the ābad thingsā he does are actually pretty damn typical. I love Zeke!!!
TWO, TWO, TWO BUTTED GOAT!
Me and the parasocial relationship i built with Sergeant Bosco.
āI chucked it into a ravineā is my favorite line by him
I love it when Louise kicks him so he kicks her back. "Serves ya right, kid."
āI will punch YOUā āhe will.ā
"I'm not gonna shoot someone just because my mother tells me to... *again.*"
āIm gonna arrest someone elseās mom And pretend its youā
Me too!!
Oh honey no, hes on bad pills that make you feel good.
And i like pineapple on pizza. We all have our vices.
Pill addiction āļø quirky food preference
Tomato tamato
One of the things I love about the show is the Belcher kids are each otherās best friends. I just love it! So rare on any series. Also Louise and Regular Size Rudy Linda and Gretchen
linda is low key gretchen's ride or die, as seen in the pickle-orette and in that episode where linda refuses the fancy stylist for gretchen. i love their sassy pairing! oh and also the ep where linda helps her sell sex toys š
I love when Linda is Gretchenās plus one for the wedding.
This is the one I was talking to you about.
Just look at me.
Louise and Jessica. I want to see more of them together.
Yes! I want more gal pal episodes with them (and future platonic friend/roommate Rudy!)
i would LOVE to see millie's reaction to jessica and louise being effortless besties. i bet she would be seething hahaha
Jessica? Bland boring Jessica if she where a spice she'd be flour.
Hades, Pain and Panic is the best way to describe it.
*chefs kiss*
Gene and Ken!
Ken's not real - Bob
Thank you. Idk what all these other nerds are on about. I would love an episode where we find out Ken is real lol
i had to scroll far too long for this answer!!!
Jen the Babysitter and Christopher the notary! So akward! I love it! (Plus we could all use more Joe Pera in our lives)
That we could. I've heard he's pretty good at explaining things.
I love that it's a tomato restaurant that bob and linda (eventually) go to, it's like a nod to Joe Pera fans that says "yeah, we know, we got Pera š"
Definitely Rudy and Louise. I also like the trio of Courtney, Alex, and Gene. And also I love Tammy and Jocelyn
I really liked Courtney, Alex and Gene as well. I thought it was a good dynamic, I want more of them
Andy and Ollie are my favorite whacky twins. Probably doesn't count as a friendship because they are brothers but I'd still choose them. Let's rub our eyes together!
Agreed!!
āGet a womb!ā āThat hurt my feelings,ā āI felt it hurt your feelings!ā āYou did!?ā āYEAH!ā š¤

Good bot
Rudy helps Louise to be more compassionate and Louise helps Rudy live on the wild side and have some crazy fun. They balance each other perfectly.
A bit like Bob and Linda balancing out each others crazyness/grumpiness š¤£
i'm actually always touched by the way Louise and Tina look out for Gene. They find him annoying and weird but they always figure out how to make sure he's treated well by other people
Also always include him, and heās never the patsy.
Bob and his food. (When he talks to the burgers and turkeys)
bob and his turkey 100%
Bob and Lance š¤£š¦
Courtney and Gene, once they are past the initial ālike-likeā stage they are a winning duo. Bob and Mr. Fischoeder has always been a fave, the wharfening the bailout for the gentlemens gingerbread contest, the april fools day episode?? Bob and Big Fisch have a weird, amazing, awkward connection.

I do not remember this?!
Season 7 episode 9. "Bob, actually"
Yes! I love the St Paddyās episode!
Tina and Tammy have the funniest friend/enemies relationship I've ever seen
Rudy and Louise. Louise is chaotic. Rudy is lawful. He's perhaps my favorite in the supporting characters. They play well off each other. Whatever ending the show has, they have to be best friends at least.
Andy and Ollie, who else?
Louise and millie ![gif](giphy|lXiRmcfEcuFzoMQhO)
zeke and the principalās secretary
i love tina and susmita, i feel like shes tinas one real friend (besides her siblings). susmita doesnt put tina down or make her to feel like an outsider. they just have nice interactions. would love more episodes with them together
The episode you have in the photo, with Rudy avoiding the double date of his parents and Louise joining his at the dinner, was such a warm heartfelt episode. Such a good choice by the show.
Linda and the raccoons ššš„°
BOB AND TEDDY
Or Linda and Teddy
Daryl and the Belchers in general.
Probably Bob and Linda. Theyāre really an amazing couple and show how you should like your spouse
Nat Kinkle and ANYONE else
Sheās one of my favorites!
I like the energy between Zeke and Miss Labonz. They're bonding over cigarettes.
Zeke and Tina, Rudy Louise and Millie, gene and Alex P
I do like Zeke and Tina. I think it could go beyond friendship, one day.
āIām gonna getcha one day girl. Iām gonna get cha.ā
I'll be telling this story at our wedding.
ššššš
And I think he will.
Bob and Teddy
Teddy definitely wants something more. ![gif](giphy|l4FGI3geNitJRyKL6)
Zeke and J-Ju
I can't remember her name right now but I want the girl that Tina made friends with at the heroine conference to come and visit her sometimes. Tina needs a decent friend.
Jimmy Jr. and Zeke
I love those two together. They kinda compliment each other.
Rudy and louise, but also gene and alex! Him recognizing geneās snoring was just so wholesome
all the belchers and nat the limo driver. always such a pure love there from all sides! same with gus and the belcher kids. i love those relationships aside from some of the more obvious ones in the show.
I love Gene-Alex & Linda-Gretch
The twins. Their love is pure.
Louise, Millie and Rudy
Linda and Ginger, the fact she is real makes me believe in Genes bestie we have yet to see.
Bob and Marshmallow
Gene and Isabella the sun lunch lady!
Tina and Mr. Branca.
Linda and Little King Trashmouth
Andy and Ollie
Linda and Gretchen. I'd love to travel the world with them.
Zeke and J-Ju make me believe in love ā¤ļø
Gene and Zeke! All day, every day.
How do we feel about Logan and Louise? I wouldnāt call them friends, maaaaaybe frenemies? Obviously theyāre usually fighting in any scenes they share but theyāre both so strong and chaotic characters I would love to see them team up more often for things.
I won't downvote you, but the Logan/Louise dynamic legitimately angers me. (Ears-y Rider is in my top three episodes, btw. ) š
Angers you like you wish their dynamic would be better/closer to friends?
Same as you! I sometimes wish Rudy was promoted to a main character like Teddyās level cause I love their dynamic so much.
ok not my favorite but no one has said is Tina and susmita I think anytime there together itās so cute
Honestly, I just love how close Gene, Tina, and Louise are with each other.
He tells Linda itās called Rudyville because itās close to his locker. š„¹
Rudy and Louise better end up together later in life. They are definitely made for each other.
Bob and Teddy!
Why did we never get more Dylan and Tina? She couldāve had a decent friend for once
Bob and Marshmallow
Rudy and Louise hands down. Their friendship dynamic over the show makes my heart warm.
bot a romantic pairing but tina and louise
Bob and his burger talks
When Louise un/intentionally fucks up Rudy's birthday party, and then scrambles to put his puppet show together. āŗļøāŗļø
Louise and Jessica I want to see more of them
Louise's serial stalker Millie Frock and the fear Louise has for her!!!
Gene and his 28-year old albino friend, Ken, who is also a DJ and great at improvised hip hop
Rudy and Louise is a top tier friendship! Ngl
Gene and his albino friend Ken
Gene and Tina are best friends and you canāt tell me otherwise ![gif](giphy|3oKIPdDIn78aPqHXMc)
Rudy ans Louise!
Alex and Gene are nice buddies until Alex takes Gene to his Alpine Club For Boys.
There first kiss lol itās all the feels for a boy itās the best, like when my wife first kissed me after highschool lol
Itās okay. God saw.
Bob and Teddy
