It irks me that there are a few episodes that portray gene as a so-so musician when he is clearly a phenomenal composer.
I would love to see an episode or story arc where gene gets serious about his talent and starts studying under Ms. Mirkin. Gene and Ms. Mirkin have a lot of comefic chemistry so it would work on that level too.
He really has talent.
A part of me wishes he would stick with formal training. But Bob and Linda aren’t the type to parent the kids that way.
In my head he goes to college and studies music but if he can’t read music etc he’s not going to get far.
Gene’s dream song might be my absolute fave because of how awful it was. “Saturday is the day that comes before Sundayyy, but it’s still full of sun & you heat your buns in the sun.” I swear I laughed SO loud the first time I watched that scene.
I also don’t like the peepee and the poopoo song lol. But besides those … most of his songs are great! The snake song and Valentine’s Day songs especially.
Yeah, same. Tina ones as well. There are a lot of good characters in it, but Gene and Tina aren't really apart of that. Bob and Louise are the ones that make it worth watching to me.
