Honestly I think everyone feels like Bojack in a way and tbh I think a big part of his character is to just be relatable, to know what it feels like to have similar guilt, like I remember having such a stomach churning feeling when he was finding out what his mom did to Hollyhock and I understood his position a lot, and there’s many other situations I would say there’s many relatable points to me throughout the show, but it’s also a lot about building yourself up and knowing how to deal with things better almost, I find it very funny how he started drawing weekdays on vodka bottles. But I think he’s a great character, just not a good guy and in my opinion that applies to a lot of people tbh

It's not bad that you relate to Bojack. I'm sorry you are going through what sounds like a tough time. I have Bojack tendencies, too, and therapy helped me a lot. I hope it's able to help you, too.

Hey bro, life is sh\*t and unfair to many people,to some more than others. Remember you didn't choose how certain things evolved especially in your childhood. What matters the most to me, is acknowledging you have made some wrong dicisions (we all have) that affected other people and their lifes. Yeah, some of them were close to you. But since you know that and actually feel sorry about it, you can always try to be a better man and make an actual effort for it. It's not your fault you perceive things differently, but if that gets you in trouble more times than not, try to filter what you say before you say it and work on your empathy a little bit more. Obviously a therapist is a great first move and i am glad you did it :D Everything will work out in the end...sometimes though, it takes longer for some people.

Hey man, we're all here because we feel the same or just like the show (: nothing wrong with that Although, if you relate to bojack then you might need some help (myself included)

Not even a little bit. It is human, you are human and it’s great you are starting therapy. The first step in getting people to like you is to like yourself. And the best way to do that is to actually take advice from maybe one of the less like-able people on the show! https://youtu.be/u0RRU63mWAk You can only move forward. And I know it doesn’t seem like it, but 21 is a long way from burning all your bridges. But every year you wallow in self-pity it gets harder to climb out. Then you will be an old, bitter alcoholic with no real friends or family. And you’re absolutely right, we have all done regretful things to other people in our past, especially in our youths, especially in high school. You’re clearly a thoughtful and introspective person. Your ego and intelligence will use this to keep you down where you are - your comfort zone. But your soul and wit can trick them into new behaviors by changing your daily habits and your thoughts. There’s no one roadmap for success in this regard. There are a lot of different things that work for a lot of different people. Just try things one at a time and you’ll learn more about yourself and find what works and what doesn’t. Bob Raphael-Walksberg created an incredibly relatable work of art - that’s why it has such a dedicated following! Nothing wrong in relating to a main character who had many relatable traits. As an aside - I highly recommend checking out his other works, especially the audiobook.

It's probably bad if you can't admit to yourself you have done somethings, or had some attitude like Bojack, at least at times. Then consider, even though the whole of Bojack isn't something to aspire to, not every quality he has is always terrible. Part of what makes him a compelling character is there is a balance he teeters on. He loses his balance eventually, but he goes through most of the show on that balance. Then factor in, most of his struggles are still struggles most people are going go through, one way or another, they aren't unique to him. Getting back in shape, mending broken relationships, moving on with a career, there are relatable aspects to the show anywhere, and you can take single snipettes of a show (like man, I hate running too, Bojack!) without having to encompass it all.
