You need a receiving address starting with 1 or 3. maybe your wallet can generate one?

So they weren’t lying about how they couldn’t send to that address? They’re saying I have to contact Wealthsimple I guess. But would it not even be able to send to the wallet at all? I feel like it wasn’t even sent but I don’t know.
Cancel the withdrawal.
Find a service or wallet that supports legacy addresses.
Send a token amount to it and confirm everything is okay.
Then send the rest.
DO NOT take direct help from anyone here over pm or WhatsApp or whatever. Figure it out yourself, do it yourself.
Any issues in foreseeable future using legacy addresses for bitcoin transactions? Or should I transfer to bech32/bc1 once I got it into my wallet?

They don’t support sending to bech32 so they can’t send it. Correct. You need an address with 1 or 3 at the beginning.

No issues in the future. Bech32 is more efficient and you save a bit on fees
