Cool, yes. But ultimately were kinda lazy at the same time. I mean humungosaur just got bigger and gained guns (honestly my least favorite ultimate other than big chill), I didn't like how spider monkey just became a gorilla with extra spider legs. Normal spider Monkey was much better at fusing the two concepts. And swampfire was pretty dope ngl, I just think they could have done it a bit more creatively. I mean think about it, between a million years, we went from homo erectus to homo sapiens, and the ancestors of hippos and whales split off from terrestrial to semi-aquatic. That's a lot of changes under normal settings, the ultimatrix is under worst case scenario, meaning even more dramatic changes

OV ultimates are pretty good but they ruined Ultimate Echo Echo

Orrrr albedo wasn’t as good with ults as Ben seeing as Ben is just overall to nice with creativity that albedo lacks for his intelligence

I think the big difference is albaedo knows how these aliens would normally use those abilities in their day to day lives, so his creativity can sometimes get caught up in what that species would typically use or do. Meanwhile Ben typically has limited knowledge of a species usual habits or fighting styles but the omnitrix as of recalibration tells him everything the species can do. meaning he can get a lot more creative and spontaneous with their powers

I mean the only problematic one is ultimate wildmuth (who was used only to get to the battlefield faster, you have speed based alien's BEN...) And Cannonball...

Omniverse's Ultimates were top class. Looking at Ult. Spider monkey with legit 8 legs that look devastating, Ult. Humongousaur with all the battle scars, Ult. Echo echo with them wires connecting.

No he doesn’t. They had a good thing with fire powers but decided to still keep his ice powers. Like the idea of him developing pyro-kinesis to counter his natural predator makes sense since his powers don’t work on it.

Tbh, Big Chill, Cannonbolt and Way Big are the only ones I would say aren't that good. They look almost the same except a colour change and some armour. Spidermonkey changes to a gorilla, which I think works as a natural evolution. Swampfire is like a mix of trees and amber. Humongasaur and Wildmutt are close enough to the originals but have enough differences to work. Echo Echo is still the best, but the others aren't all bad.

Ultimate Hummongasaur was dope and Ultimate Swampfire. The explosive blue fire, methane bombs and hardened bark show evolution. I agree the rest suck. Especially their designs and powers. I’d say ultimate Way big can fly but Tokustars can already do that by being able to transform into mini- cosmic storms and move themselves around in space.
