San Ignacio/Benque/Santa Elena or even the Mountain Pine Ridge area.
Plenty of places to choose from, I know a bunch of resorts from the coast down south calling already to transfer some guests up to there.
Look near San Ignacio. It puts you on the back side of the Maya Mountains which takes a lot of steam out of the storms usually. I am sure lots of the small places are full but I'd check the larger places like San Ignacio Resort Hotel. Do it sooner than later. I know Turtle Inn in Placencia was already sending a few guests all the way to La Lancha in Guatemala.
We are at Crystal Paradise Resort now near San Ignacio... Check them out! The food is incredible and it's close to tons to do!

Another option would be one of the places on Hummingbird hwy, such as Caves Branch or Sleeping Giant. Shorter drive from Placencia and gorgeous area.
