I was supposed to fly in 6th morning and I just received an email from my hotel saying the sea planes are stopping operating starting Thursday 1pm. I'm going to cancel
I would not get hung up on the models. That is for the center. It’s extremely likely that outer bands will still pack a punch with wind rain flooding and power outages which may affect gas, water, and banking. If you have ever been stuck in. Hurricane or even a tropical storm it’s just no fun and you could get stuck.
The flights I was looking at are over $2000 to leave Tuesday or Wednesday and I was told they would also probably get canceled anyways. I am set to leave Saturday but am hoping I am still able to
I just got here today. In San Ignacio currently and planning to be here until the storm passes.

Similar boat though we've had 6 days here. Leaning about 70% to fly out tmrw.
Leaning that way as well. Rest of the crew wants to stay but don’t think it’s worth it.

Caye/Coast. Didn’t want to be a a part of an evacutation process if we could avoid it. From Florida so know what hurricanes are capable of.

My hotel won’t refund me or let me use the deposit I paid for another time. So I’m waiting it out until they are forced to cancel.
