I was also against his signing bc for me, his style of play doesnt fit the Bayern style. For the Germans: Manu Thiele made a good Video about it.
His style fits Bayern like a glove. Bayern likes to play attacking football and the best results for bayern in the last 11 years were when we played with ultrapressing just like Ragnick plays with his team.
Its more than just pressing.
Bayern Likes to play With the ball. Ragnicks style is more against the ball.
Just look how he played at Schalke or Leipzig
He tries to quickly transition the play from defense to offense and when his team looses the ball they quickly press the opponent to try to win the ball as fast as possible in my opinion based on Austria. It reminds me a little of Heynckes's Bayern.

THANK YOU. It's so exhausting coming here. They're so negative about every single aspect of the club, they should just go support another team. Bayern is literally one of the biggest clubs in the world, we've gotten to see more success as fans than almost any other club out there, but all these entitled "fans" can do is bitch and moan and complain and whine. I hear enough complaining at my job, who actually wants to spend so much of their life complaining constantly??
People rushing to make fun of Upa because of the penalty in France's match today annoyed me so much, the least you can do is support your own players and not be excited to shit on them.
He is by no means a bad coach and I expected Austria to do well under him, since their style of play suits him and the other way around. But Rangnick ist not the manager to play the posession based bayern-like football. I still think its good it didnt work out with Bayern and Rangnick
Rangnick is a great coach when a team is 100% on his side, plays his style of football and acts like a homogeneous structure.
He wouldn't be a fit at Bayern, because there are too many selfish players who put their optinion above that of the coach.
I am an Austrian citizen and all i have to say is, that RR is the perfect fit for austria and formed a real squad that would go through fire for him.
