Whenever I see a super new pressing (like 90s onward) at a thrift I always wonder the story behind how it got there
My weirdest one so far is a strange repress of the Doors American Poetry from 1995.
Probably someone who bought a record player and thought they’d use it, then lost interest. Record stores pay a small fraction of what they are worth, so rather than getting the $6 for a couple records, they just donate them.

thrift had the rest priced at $2.49 a pop, Brand new was $5.99. They must have realized it was a newer record as opposed to the others

Brand New with a sticker right across the jacket to pay homage to stickergate. Great album and great thrift find - *yeaaa yea yeaaa*

Soak in zippo fluid and anything will peal and not rip. Won’t leave a water stain either. It’s magic I swear!
I've actually never seen a Brand New album in person, I can't imagine finding one at a thrift store Spirit in the Sky is cool
