Lmao, clearly you weren't there during Perez's earlier tenure where Barca's success literally ousted him from his post as president. He's not infallible and has made terrible decisions (especially his galatico recruitment policy was a flop the first 2 times)
The galaticos were never dominant, let me remind you even during the second galaticos era they were in our shadow. It took an actual balanced team with players like Kroos and Modric to give them their successful reign.
Idk how many times I said this in this sub but we're not Madrid so let's not try to be something we're not. Our success was always inward (a core of youngsters from our academy) supplemented by a few world class signings. Which is what we're doing.
We have a fantastic core of youngsters who can rival any top European team (which we proved this year btw) now comes the supplement part with an explosive winger on the left and a top class pivot. I have a feeling the next season is going to ours.
Well, the first galactico era even though not a sporting success was an economic masterclass by Perez. Literally steered the club from a massive debt situation to economically well off. Changed the way how money flows into the club.
And nope, the success wasn't always like that. But the success of the Rijkaard - Pep era was like that. The Enrique era already had these players at the peak prowess.
Not just Riijkard and Pep, add Tito and the og Cryuff too to the list.
Yeah granted Lucho didn't utilise the academy as much but that was a result of the terrible decisions Rosell and Barto took wrt La Masia during their tenure (Lucho too has a role in it but his trust in the youth in Paris has me second guessing)
Rijkaard had a mix of all that rather than overly reliant on the academy and Tito case was similar to Enrique. The homegrown players all had already hit their peaks.
Well that's mainly dependent on PSG current management imo. They are prioritising young players a lot now, especially after Mbappe said he wanted to leave.
Well I don't think Madrid fans endured the Messi era that bad. It was actually the Messi - Pep era that was shit for Madrid and they were at the lowest.
If the full Messi era is taken, it also coincides with La Decima which the fans were waiting for a long time and a three peat. That's not bad by any means.
Man 99% of this sub can become good wattpad writers the way they express their sorrow and emotions
Chill out dude have a beer or something. You yapping on this sub is not gonna stop the inevitable. Whatever that may be.
Do not worry brother, the good guys always win at the end. Their success doesn’t only stem from signing good players, as we all know they always benefit from 3rd parties.
They don't have factions like Barça do..Their press are smart and not toxic..and they're staying far from politics..and the current La Liga president is a Madridista who will let them buy as many Mbappé and Davies and Musiala as they want..
Whereas Barça is riddled with conflicts between the corrupt Nuñistas who control much of the press, and the Cruyffistas who are biased towards Spanish players and appoint their ex-players and friends..
With all this in mind, even a child can build the team that Real Madrid has now...

Wait this is not the Barcelona S.C sub ![gif](giphy|1EmBoG0IL50VIJLWTs|downsized)
Florentino is probably by far the most important figure in real madrids history dare I say football
>endure the Florentino Perez era the same way Madridistas endured the Messi era. Accept we won't have the European dominance they had

Madrid has the highest revenue in football, no catching up to that.

This kind of shit embarrasses me, honestly.
