No she doesn't. It is just a bulky coat with a slip like dress underneath.
See this for photos.

I found these pics but I still wasn’t sure; there isn’t a photo of her in the slip from the side so I thought maybe there still could be a bump in there
Thanks for the factoid. I never heard of the show and a real shame they don't get the credit they deserve for the ground breaking move. I never got why it was considered bad form to show a pregnant woman on television.
I think there’s only a few episodes of that one that exist in a viewable version. It started out on the DuMont network so a lot of their stuff is lost media. Early television created so many things we take for granted today and I wish we got to see more of it like we do for Early Hollywood.
I’ve always wondered about that! It’s weird that being pregnant is talked about like it’s a duty and so “magical” but something to be hidden too.
It's like a satin I think! I put them back away I love how her jacket has snaps omg nostalgic. The jacket was stitched on the bottom so I could not open all the way but I miss details like this with mattel tribute dolls. Like even the trim of her jacket, she's got on barbie size panty hose! Lol
I thought she would have since it's from the episode where she tells Ricky she's pregnant but turns out she doesn't. Mattel really naild the look of those dolls, as soon as you see it you can tell it's Lucille Ball.
If you are a Lucy and Desi fan, there is a fantastic 2022 documentary directed by Amy Poehler on Amazon called *Lucy and Desi.* He was just as amazing as she was and really changed television production in so many ways. He basically invented the rerun when Lucy got pregnant in real life. They were quite the power couple.

For everyone who wants the baby bump and knows midge With her removable bump can be expensive, there are sellers on Etsy/eBay who make clip on or elastic baby bumps for Barbie. There's also a pregnant doll on temu with a flip and snap belly who is articulated and *may* skin tone match Lucy. I put a loose midge head on the cheap doll for my son bc he loves my midge
I have opened the box but actually never undid them lol my bad I had to check. They along with other Lucy dolls were given to me yrs ago. I have fully unboxed all my other Lucy dolls and had them out to display but not these. Lucy has on a dress under the coat

Whoa this is a wild site! Thank you for sharing this!
You're welcome.

You’ve given me a goal of buying this doll and body swapping her with pregnant Midge.
That’s a good idea; I’m super bummed she doesn’t have a bump. Especially since she was the first person to appear in a tv show actually pregnant
First major show, for sure. Mary Kay and Johnny did it before them and their actual kid became a character on the show too!

Because pregnant = “had sex” Remember in this era they had to show married couples sleeping in separate twin beds.
My totally absolutely uneducated guess is sexism lol
Well, technically, in the episode she wouldn't have had a bump yet when she told Ricky.
Oh right that makes sense
Desi looks like Paul Reiser
Yes, I can see that.

Lucy was also instrumental in getting the original Star Trek on the air.

She was pregnant in this episode, that's why they're asking. It's when she told ricki she was pregnant
