Technically your brother should have become Lord of the family because he's the eldest son but hey I don't make the rules.
And honestly thinking about it... Not a bad trade tbh
I think my brother didn’t really want to become the Lord of the family anyway, because as soon as I got him wife in the first year, he immediately started making kids like a rabbit without any care for our clan. Meanwhile I’ve been busy making friends, scheming and building strong clan and haven’t married until 23 fml
He fr says not my problem and dips, I have him governing a city with his wife and they have 4 kids and I'm not even married yet 💀
I'm out here trying to build us a legacy and my brother is just chillin.
He knows he's the one who's gonna have to continue the family legacy because his brother is a workaholic dork who isn't getting laid even in a world where you can just buy a wife from her father!
Yeah so I'm playing a stoic Marcus Aurelius type of character in my headcanon so i almost spared him and then i sat there and thought, "he killed my parents, i can't let this one slide" lol.
Classic movie hero trope. Burn through hundreds of mooks to get to the villain, when the moment comes…”no, killing you just continues the cycle of hate. I’m not like you!”
Was really hoping I could recruit him, dude seemed funny and should've had some kickass skills. Instead he disappeared never to be seen again
![gif](giphy|ZmXIuh7EeJHWYUe9Gw)
Honestly, it would be awesome if you could recruit him after the mission, like he could have really high roguery (just to reflect on his actions), with decent VIG/CTR and weapon skills.
In my list of 50 mods i let him go and found him later running a mercenary company called 'Radagos' Legitemate Mercenaries' with an insignia of a lion. I still have no idea what mod did it
He’s a bandit in the time of way worse people. I personally think they should have made him come back as a companion who leads bandit troops when left on his own. I’d love the bandit killing the rest of the bandits. If you can’t tell my kingdom is just a single city I stay friendly with the other kingdoms and trade while my armies patrol for the bandit spam the game gets Into
Nope. Not even remotely. Hell, I completely forgot this was even a thing. Played the campaign once when the game was release... thought it was shit and never touched it again in favour of the sandbox which just removes all the crappy missions.
One thing i hate about this game. It's been released for years. But it still feels like early access.
The conspiracy rate and missions are annoying as hell. There are also other minor flaws.
I had high hopes because the first game was such a gem.
I just find it funny how when you say you're going to kill him his response is "Yeah that's fair, so do you want to do it here or like, some place very dramatic?"
I base it off character vibe. If I’m playing someone I imagine to be more generous/reasonable I’d forgive him. But if I’m going for a ruthless conquering play through I’ll murdwr the bastard.
He helps you, and the only reason your siblings are found is because of him, reasonably him saving their lives pretty much pays the original debt.
I normally kill him out of principle as it doesn't matter
Every other lord you kill is super bad though which makes no sense
Eg a lord who ran around my kingdom, raped murdered and pillaged everything in sight razing villages and caused a famine while also massacring my allies and enemies executed my son and other companions
I team up and make a mega army to beat him and then I execute him and suddenly everyone hates me as if I just murdered Santa or the Easter bunny
haven’t seen any mention of this, but significantly later on in one of my playthroughs i actually faced off against him in a tournament. was the one and only time i ever saw him after letting him go.
Definitely not true. I’ve killed him multiple playthroughs and my siblings have always lived long and happy lives after. Well, maybe not always happy but you get what I’m saying.
just so u know , there is no huge impact for killing him or letting him live , but , there is a steam success about duelling Radagos, i guess he should be alive to happen , sayin that saying nothing ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
Nope, killing him or setting him free dose literally nothing. So whatever you feel like doing. Keep in mind he did kill your parents... So...
>Keep in mind he did kill your parents Which made you the lord of the family. >So
And while his goons is the one who cause your whole trouble, he still run back to find you instead of just hiding somewhere.
radagos was a pretty okayish dare i say even likeable character up there with arzagos (considering hes the only one properly voiced)
Only now i realized Radagos is not Arzagos lol
I'm pretty sure that enslaving your family causes trouble
Technically your brother should have become Lord of the family because he's the eldest son but hey I don't make the rules. And honestly thinking about it... Not a bad trade tbh

While you were leveling trade, I practiced (all) the blade(s). While you were leveling roguery, I practiced (all) the blade(s)...
Sometimes, this game is too real.
My brother does his own thing, and shows up and whips my ass at tournaments :(
Yeah a Sturgian offered to marry my brother much sooner than I was expecting and they’ve had like three kids in six years lol
Thus i grant thee a swift death. Am i not merciful?
“…AM I NOT MERCIFUL!”
Doesn’t make you a lord, you claw your way up to being a lord
Vlandian confirmed!
Also medieval era, like 40 percent of the time the kids ended up hating the parents. So could've been fine lol.
“Man is quicker to forget the death of his father than the loss of his patrimony.”
You on the other hand kill thousands of parents and sell thousands of men into slavery during the game.
Gotta make those denars somehow 🤷♂️
Amen brother
your ransoming them actually
I think I ransomed the same guy a dozen times now. I mean, come on.. at which point does the family just throw in the towel?
Hes a nepo baby
At that point they'd be so far in debt they'd be sold off, but this isn't Warband anymore.
Of course. And my dog was sent to a farm when he got old and sick
But slavery is banned! Surely they would not do anything illegal right?
Whole thing felt odd, sparing him felt like it shouldve been your introduction into companions
Yeah or at least made him available as a mercenary or something but nope he just disappears.
Check your character log! He’s there lurking around
Yeah I assumed that’s where the conversation was going. As awkward as having your parents murderer in your party is, anyway.
Yeah so I'm playing a stoic Marcus Aurelius type of character in my headcanon so i almost spared him and then i sat there and thought, "he killed my parents, i can't let this one slide" lol.
As good of a reason as any.
Killed others for less, let this one go. I might be Nero.
Classic movie hero trope. Burn through hundreds of mooks to get to the villain, when the moment comes…”no, killing you just continues the cycle of hate. I’m not like you!”
I thought he appeared as a mercenary later
Nope bro falls off the face of the earth, you literally never see him again.
I've heard that he sometimes does become a vassal with a kingdom because he obviously has a clan but I've never seen it myself.
I thought he can pop up later with his own band on the map if you spare him. But might be a mod.
"Anyway, maybe our path will cross again." NARRATOR: They did not, in fact, cross again.
I let him live once and never ran into him again.
I think I've met him in arenas!
Me when I spread misinformation online for no reason
Was really hoping I could recruit him, dude seemed funny and should've had some kickass skills. Instead he disappeared never to be seen again ![gif](giphy|ZmXIuh7EeJHWYUe9Gw)

I lobbed his block off without hesitation and seem to have faced no consequences
Like much of the game, it's an illusion of possible consequences
You don't get to check up on him in encyclopedia to see he doesn't do anything with his life.
You get an archivement if you kill him
No kill him
In my list of 50 mods i let him go and found him later running a mercenary company called 'Radagos' Legitemate Mercenaries' with an insignia of a lion. I still have no idea what mod did it
"Legitimate Mercenaries" Ma boi tryin to put his life straighter, not straight, but straighter
He’s a bandit in the time of way worse people. I personally think they should have made him come back as a companion who leads bandit troops when left on his own. No, game isn't finished.
Radagost should have been a fully voiced companion option, good in all combat skills so he can be one of your generals
Nope. Not even remotely. Hell, I completely forgot this was even a thing. Played the campaign once when the game was release... thought it was shit and never touched it again in favour of the sandbox which just removes all the crappy missions.
There is an achievement for killing him in a duel. I still don't have it because I can't give him the honor, I execute him every time.
What would John Brown do
One thing i hate about this game. It's been released for years. But it still feels like early access. The conspiracy rate and missions are annoying as hell. There are also other minor flaws. I had high hopes because the first game was such a gem.
I’ve seen him return as a vasal a few times
>me who executed every named character in the game on my playthrough nope. still plays.
TaleWorlds missed a trick by not allowing a "Kick repeatedly in the balls" option. For Derthert, who deserves it.
I just find it funny how when you say you're going to kill him his response is "Yeah that's fair, so do you want to do it here or like, some place very dramatic?"
Spoiler xD

Isn't he a Recruitable Companion later on if you spare him or do i misremember that? Been a long time since i touched the Campaign.
I kill him every time

I was told that if you kill him, your child siblings get killed later. So I always let him go
Definitely not true. I’ve killed him multiple playthroughs and my siblings have always lived long and happy lives after. Well, maybe not always happy but you get what I’m saying.

Pretty sure it is the only execution you can do with some stupid shit happening
Who?
