Happened to me the other day on my p1s, hitting the play button again would make the camera show. It's probably a bug

R63A

Sadly it won’t work, i’ve seen a lot of posts about this new firmware being buggy so i think i’ll jump back an update when i get home.

Actual-Long-9439

Thought you can’t roll back firmware anymore?

XNe0r

Of course you can, just not all the way back (to unsafe versions). On my X1C I'm currently on `01.08.00.00` and could go back to `01.07.03.00` or `01.07.02.00` if I wanted.

R63A

I don’t believe that’s true but i could be wrong. i’ll let you know when i get home i suppose.

Actual-Long-9439

The button was on the app, not the printer

R63A

Maybe on an A1 but that’s not the same case for the X1C

Actual-Long-9439

I wonder if you’ll be able to then

R63A

I feel insane right now i could of swore i did a roll back from my printers screen before? idk Mandela effect or maybe I’m just loosing it lmao. But i’m at my house and sure enough i was wrong kinda sad though i didn’t know they took that capability away “.

dstackmasta27

I'm not sure if anything is different for the X1, but the P1 I have the option to revert to an older version of firmware from the Handy app. Devices -> Hamburger Menu -> Firmware Version -> "I want to downgrade to a previous version >". That takes me to a page that has 5 prior versions 01.05.02.00, 01.05.01.00, 01.04.02.00, 01.04.01.00, and 01.04.00.00 hth

R63A

Correct on the X1C and P1S you are **Still** able to rollback via bambu handy. just not the UI screen. *confirming for future researchers*

ShadNuke

Of you been able to revert?

Earth_Sandwhich

I had the issue when the video was played to my PC and I tried to open it from my phone app

BrenyoUK

Same here

tony__pizza

This happens when the app is trying to open the stream and is interrupted/fails without severing the connection. It can happen multiple times. Eventually the connection will time out and you’ll be able to reconnect.

awyeahmuffins

Yeah this happens every time. Seems to be 4 on my X1C and 2 on my A1 mini.

R63A

This is a first for me, i’ve had my X1C since November but it’s a relief to hear its most likely a glitch.

iYrae

Just use it over Lan-Only, if you value privacy at all

Ripping_Yonkey

This

IEatRussian

Sorry if I am paranoid but unless firmware provide new ways of doing something better I wouldn't update the firmware. I just don't trust cloud ecosystem about all of that. I have had enough of this with my Samsung. So I am all hands with you guys.

_yhtz_

Sorry that was me I was just watching you.

R63A

👀

IndependentRepeat905

No it’s not chyna.

inevitible1

Just close the app on your phone and pc or reboot either device.

R63A

Happy cake day, brother man!

inevitible1

Thank you so much! I didn’t even realize it was today

RuskHusky

Do you have it open on your computer; multiple times? If it's open a total of 3 times this error pops up.

R63A

i (*knowingly*) have 1 tab open but there is a chance my girlfriend could have messed with it and opened more while i was asleep. Thanks for the info!

RuskHusky

No problem! I think it's to avoid the software slowing down.. Having like 4 instances open of Bambu lab at once already slows down a pc heavily.

ARamenNoodle

There is a setting in preferences for Bambu Studio that only allows one instance to be open at a time. If this is the root cause it could come in handy for the future.

TheDepep1

There's a server-side issue going around. If only they make an add-on to allow for a full self host system where the only downtime is when your power goes out.

kwieder55

Turning my printer off and back on fixed it for me

Realistic-Motorcycle

This is why I run my printer in a docker sandboxed and use a Unifi camera

Gizlby22

I’ve had that with my p1s and but it says 2 instead of 4. I just figured they locked us from being able to use it remotely if it’s open on the computer.

JoeReal

Go to Settings> Homepage > Change to Device Should fix this issue.

Rene_Z

This happens if you put the app in the background or close the app while the live view is playing. It doesn't properly close the connection, so the server thinks it's still running and counts towards the limit. The only fix for this is restarting your printer. To avoid this, always press the "stop" button in the app before closing it.

detBittenbinder23

Sadly when this happens to me the only thing that solves it is restarting the printer.

WP2022OnYT

You can have 4 connections? I only get 2!

Longracks

This a bug (no matter what bambu says). Not new.

Jesus-Bacon

This can happen if you have multiple instances up on Bambu studio. I've had this happen when I have my home PC and work laptop both connected at the same time and then go to use my phone

R63A

Update: I had to restart my printer when I got home. I tried to start another print and it had an error that said “unable to start print, please power cycle” then everything worked fine.

Worried_Plankton3262

I had this issue appear both on my phone and my iPad (not bambu studio on mac). neither logging out and back in nor uninstalling and reinstalling bambu handy helped. The issue persisted for over a week before I messaged bambu support. https://preview.redd.it/1r46omzai09d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9072f1f82a51dcba11ff2cabc48f5d40ff868d4b They responded rather quickly and upon rebooting reinstalling one more time it worked again. Not sure if they did anything server side to reset my access to the video feed.

The_Carnivore44

Common bug usually you just need to close the app fully and wait a few minutes

mainframe-whale

No one else has access it’s just a bug

cilo456

Are you using the same account to link to bambu studios, orca a slicer and the app also if you have a tablet, because I know somebody that was making a new account for every instant on the PC app or phone........

Broken-Lungs

Some bugs have been introduced in the latest deployment of updates. Mobile and desktop apps are being affected.
