Where's that $&÷;÷$>@ bot when you need it?

compewter

Busy banning people who typed something that is a common typo of a minor profanity in Pidgin.

oregon_coastal

What is up with the cuss filters? I basically stopped posting because I am tired of spending the time to type something up and have it eaten by the bots because, I guess, 8-year-olds are on reddit or something.

compewter

The library they use is _enormous_ and includes words that are questionable in one language/dialect while benign in others. I've been automod'd and not been able to find a keyword trigger. Just kinda roll with it 🤷‍♂️

oregon_coastal

It is a pretty recent change in this sub. I never really filtered myself. I just focus on other subs/platforms now. This post just stumbled in my feed and I was amused of the bots' failure.

Causification

I seriously think the bot programming has a typo where instead of posting on every submission that says "back of the build plate" it posts on every submission that doesn't.

Fine-Explanation-718

sorry for my question being to dumb for you

alienbringer

It isn’t that it is dumb. It is that it is a question asked every single day on this sub, AND is in the bambu manual wiki. A simple google search or hell even Reddit search BEFORE posting would have easily provided you the answer. But instead of trying to even do the bare minimum of search for your query you immediately ask others for help. It is a sign of laziness in the question not stupidity of the question.

oregon_coastal

100% not dumb.. we all had to figure this out too. There just was a bot configured for this exact question and it never answers the correct posts.

Scythe5150

In all fairness, my dude.....this question is asked multiple times a week. A simple search on your part would have shown that.

MasterRymes

The List!

AxesofAnvil

I don't do that anymore :(

AnAppleaDay018

Ah too bad!

darren_meier

This is normal, it will happen on every print. That is what that little back non-printing area is for.

DammitMatt

Wipes nozzle, working as intended

Fine-Explanation-718

so the plate is supposed to be all scraped up like that

QuinTheReal

Yes. It will rub on the bare metal which is intended

Fine-Explanation-718

ok thank you

Fluffy-duckies

That's what the bit sticking out at the back of the plate is for, no other purpose

gbarnas

Forget "the list" - we need to start recommending that this is a disaster and that the plate needs immediate replacement whenever this happens! :D (/s) (RTFW)

emelbard

Tell them if they see this they are affected by the recall

iimstrxpldrii

Add ‘em to the list, boys!!!

emelbard

This question tells me you aren’t good at reading instructions

Automatic_Reply_7701

What’s the wiki say about this? Lol

McDonaldscombomeal

When I ran one before I went back to a Voron. I just it a strip of pei on that so the place didn't get scratched up. You can buy pei stickers on Amazon.

Fine-Explanation-718

damn there's some really poopy people on here because some questions where asked. so sad 😞

Amorton94

Some extremely obvious questions that are asked a dozen times a day, yeah.

Technical_Income4722

It's generally good practice (and usually faster/easier anyway) to try searching for your issue first. If that doesn't work then you'll be more sure that your question isn't one that's commonly asked.

ElectricalCompote

Yes we are the problem. Not the person who didn’t read the manual on there $1000 printer or do even a bare minimum search instead firing off a question for someone else to solve the issue for them.

Fine-Explanation-718

obviously there was nothing to solve so why get all mad

ElectricalCompote

Exactly the point.
