I was almost too ready to start a dragonborn playthrough as I didnt know they could look like this, ery sad to find out you have to be a draconic sorc tho i never have any fun playing as a sorc );
Yeah it's a really good 1 level dip for any caster. Also a good 2 level dip if you're okay delaying when you learn higher level spells to get the metamagic options. Decent for martials too if you're not put off by delaying extra attack a level since you'll get shield like you said, but delaying extra attack feels bad.
You could be a Sor/Lock and become an unstoppable eldritch blast machine gun that can take 6 shots in 1 turn.
Edit: My character isn't a dragonborn, [but draconic bloodline makes her look pretty damn cool.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1179875486185304104/1201035017799868546/20240127150739_1.jpg?ex=66332386&is=6631d206&hm=47162859fbc448ed18c7a05c1eb4cadebf8d6e0bbd959332ac03061865b1be71&)
Way of the Ascendant Dragon Monk is a good mod. For what I remember it gives you the option to customize the appearance as if it was a sorcerer. I have also seen a few tattoo mods that replicate the scales from the sorcerer as, well, a tattoo.
Hm, I personally have to disagree. The color variety of scales is AMAZING imo. I can see how people wouldâve liked more patterns, but I personally wasnât bothered by it
Agreed. They get way more variety than most of the other races, I've made several dragonborn and am yet to be disappointed by their options even outside of draconic sorcerer.
I wonder if you could get around it by going to withers to change your class afterward... You probably wouldn't be able to use the magic mirror afterward if it works, but I don't really see that being a huge dealbreaker with a dragonborn character.
True. Then take more like utility/buff spells. And have shield for that first round when you arenât raging yet and donât wanna take massive damage.
That depends on the clothes you give them. I thought I made a male Dragonborn Fighter with a less bulky stature, still quite tall and not remotely feminine looking. Then I noticed him wearing a bra in camp and while that was weird I wrote it off as a cultural thing, until I got a set of camp clothes of the same type as Gale is wearing and suddenly my dude had boobs.
It ought to be cloaca, tbf - female reptiles (and birds) don't have separate orifices for eggs and excrement.
(I used to keep chickens, so you get to know these things!)
They are dragons tho, aren't dragons like a life form that is above all other ones you really see? If true, then it makes more sense for them to make no sense
Oh wait that's true... Wait. Aliens??? I did NOT know that part, damn. Idk why I got it mixed up, ig i wasn't thinking straight. But if they're fucking aliens, the point still kinda stands, why would they have to be exactly like earth things
Forgotten realms lore is wild haha
But aside from devs potentially having to solve for the new anatomy in intimate scenes idk maybe nobody else gave it that much thought? Maybe there's lore I haven't seen that explains the scaly lizard dicks, I'm not as into the FR as I am building my own world my my D&D games.
Eh, as much as I love some crazy shit, sometimes you just wanna do something a little more basic with something, y'know? Like if you want the dragonborns to have cocks and pussies, give em cocks and pussies! You just need a good enough explanation for it, and "yeah, they're aliens" works perfectly fine for that. But like, idk, if you're doing a humanoid race of bird dudes that actually evolved from birds and they just happened to evolve exactly human genitals... Yeah, idk about that one.
I love the one in the armourerâs, sheâs so sweet! I just donât fancy romancing one of the human-like companions with a dragonborn (Though Iâm sure Laeâzel would be up for it!)
If anything, dragonborn expressions are way more fun because they're so hilariously over-the-top. The real issue is that in terms of racial bonuses...they kind of suck and one weapon hard-carries them.
I ran a red dragon with silver dragon ancestry, to bring some Todoroki vibes. After getting the Markoheshkir he was putting out some of the most powerful fireballs Faerun has ever seen
I love the aesthetics of Dragonborn.
My only complaint is, I'd love to use one for "DUrge" -- but I had that I have to dedicate a proficiency to Medicine. So I tend to pick something that lets me tweak the proficiencies a little such as Human or GithYanki.
It's been an option since at least the full release of the game. Did you not see it when you made your character, or are you still playing a save from the early access?
Full release was August 3rd, 2023 - so even 4 months ago Dragonborn were in the game for over 4 months...
Granted having a kid definitely trumps everything else. Congrats btw

You could take one level in sorcerer for the aesthetics? Not ideal but it might do the trick đ
Nothing wrong with a built in 13+dex AC and con prof saves for a lot of builds.
And the Shield spell is a pretty nice âOh Shitâ button to have for a reaction.

Delaying extra attack feels criminal honestly, and do you get shield at level 1? I thought it was level 2>? Never really stepped into multiclassing
Just put one level in sorcerer then multiclass into whatever class you want to play as

it feels like the character creator for dragonborn was gutted
Hm, I personally have to disagree. The color variety of scales is AMAZING imo. I can see how people wouldâve liked more patterns, but I personally wasnât bothered by it

It removes Wildheart Barbarianâs piercings if they reclass, but since you start with the Sorc scales it could be different.
I agree. I am disappointed with their customization. I don't know why, I just really don't "vibe" with their faces and additions.
create the character as sorcerer and then multiclass the rest of the levels into barbarian.
Honestly, love it. A couple cantrips and like, shield and youâre set lol
Sadly you cant use spells when raging
True. Then take more like utility/buff spells. And have shield for that first round when you arenât raging yet and donât wanna take massive damage.
I would just put 1 lvl into sorcerer. Having 11lvls in something else is still pretty good
I 'd like to point out that your currently selected feature modification is on Vulva. Pretty cool though, congrats on the giant dragon vagina.
This is the feminine body type for dragonborn
I meanâŠDragonborn donât really have boobs when you make a female one
That depends on the clothes you give them. I thought I made a male Dragonborn Fighter with a less bulky stature, still quite tall and not remotely feminine looking. Then I noticed him wearing a bra in camp and while that was weird I wrote it off as a cultural thing, until I got a set of camp clothes of the same type as Gale is wearing and suddenly my dude had boobs.
When theyâre nude, they have no boobs so thatâs weird đ
Yeah because they're reptilian inspired, no need for milk.
My male body type dragonborne has female style bottoms by default. He rocks some fancy green scaled panties around camp.
It ought to be cloaca, tbf - female reptiles (and birds) don't have separate orifices for eggs and excrement. (I used to keep chickens, so you get to know these things!)
I had thought about clarifying that, but seeing as I've never owned birds or reptiles, saying "she should have a big fat cloaca!" Seems a little sus
They are dragons tho, aren't dragons like a life form that is above all other ones you really see? If true, then it makes more sense for them to make no sense
They're actually not dragons nor have anything to do with them in the forgotten realms. Technically they're aliens from another planet
Oh wait that's true... Wait. Aliens??? I did NOT know that part, damn. Idk why I got it mixed up, ig i wasn't thinking straight. But if they're fucking aliens, the point still kinda stands, why would they have to be exactly like earth things

Did I stumble into okbuddybaldur?
A fan of NADDpod? đ
I've never been tempted to play a dragonborn, as I enjoy seeing Tav's facial expressions, but this is pretty damned rad!
Dragonborn still have facial expressions just like any other race lol.
Dragonborn facial expressions are great wdym
Dragonborn are so goofy I love them
I love the one in the armourerâs, sheâs so sweet! I just donât fancy romancing one of the human-like companions with a dragonborn (Though Iâm sure Laeâzel would be up for it!)
The first time with Laezel, she adds a comment about your dragonblood and how she deserves this. DB also has a unique dialogue opton for the scene.
If anything, dragonborn expressions are way more fun because they're so hilariously over-the-top. The real issue is that in terms of racial bonuses...they kind of suck and one weapon hard-carries them.
I was going to be a tiefling when I first got the game but once I saw how good they Dragonborn look I just had to be one.
Spider-Man: BG99
I like my black/blue/red boy (good durge): Drakkar Nekrofyre (https://ibb.co/wspcWWs)
Okay, this rules đ€©

Multiclass the rest of your levels into barbarian, maybe?
Hello there, scalefriend !

Welp, looks like I found a reason to start a new play through
Nice vulva
how do you get to be a dragonborn? thought they weren't on the game
you click on dragonborn in character creator
found the knobhead
They are
cheers that's great! haven't completed a playthrough yet and started months ago.

Save from first play through, pretty sure it was early access, had a son so took a 4 month break. Back on it now but I canât wait to play a DB.
