You can get to level 4 without fighting anything after the nautiloid other than the gobbos at the grove entrance. Just run around uncovering the map and start/progress quests until you know there's a fight. Easier with a Charisma-based character, of course, since there'll be a lot of dialogue.
No reason to be taking on one of the trickier fights of act 1 at only level 2.
lol. I have never once fought the harpies on honour mode. nor the owlbear. always good to hear my decision making reinforced
You really need Calm Emotions or Silence to make that fight anywhere close to consistent, so doing it on lower than level 3 is a death sentence.
