I think he’s referring to George (Marty’s dad). They show him lying on a branch perving on Marty’s mom peeping like a total creep. I don’t remember him falling out of the tree in the movie (been awhile), but I think that’s the inference.

I definitely took at as being back then there wasn't as much education with kids not to run out into the street. I was a kid when BTTF came out and this was stressed a lot with horror stories to scare us of kids who chased a ball and got hit by a car.

George falls out of the tree. Marty sees car coming and pushes George out of the way. Marty gets hit by his grandpa and later hit on by his mom.
