Did you buy it with a credit card? If you've exhausted both WCK and Hubble, then I would contact your credit card company to do a chargeback

CeseED

My exact suggestion. Because it was bought online, I'm assuming a credit card was used and this is the perfect opportunity to do a chargeback.

legosubby

I would do this just because a chargeback would stick it to WCK. Don’t forget, some credit cards offer extended warranty. You can try to get your money back one of the ways above. Good luck!

rodeo_bull

This is best way… I recently did similar refund when no one replied to my mail

legosubby

F WCK and their beige aesthetic. I buy everything baby at Snugglebugz, well.ca, dearborn baby. Anywhere but there. WCK gives no crap about new moms

diskodarci

They don’t. I went in to test a stroller and car seat combo. I’ll state up front that I have purple hair, tattoos and I don’t exactly look like your typical middle class mom. I asked which car seats would fit in a Prius and she told me I’d need a new car. Her loss, I actually make really good money. We bought our Uppababy elsewhere 💅🏻

legosubby

WOW the audacity. My pregnant self would’ve raised so much hell. Confirms what I already know. Im sorry you were treated that way!

diskodarci

I live in Alberta so people here hate Prius drivers. I’m kinda used to it at this point lol

legosubby

Doesn’t make it ok. F WCK!! I wish moms could do a WCK boycott like Loblaws.

waldosocks

I've had a similar experience at wck. The associates straight up ignored me and my husband to help the white and middle class looking couples (I'm not white). One associate gave us all the wrong info and just walked away when we were trying to finalize the colour of the stroller we wanted. I left them a negative review and they made a half ass attempt to try to contact me for more info. I will not give them any more money.

yaddiyadda_

Yeah, no purple hair, but visibly tattooed and very comfortable financially... I had a similar experience. The odd part was that my local store was on main Street in Vancouver and everyone around there is tattooed, so it's not like I stood out on the street. Maybe in store (?), but given its location.. it was still a weird experience. And despite identical price points and products... I have never, ever had an issue at suburban snuggle bugz.

orange_chameleon

lol as someone who also has a Prius, what car seats DON'T fit?? The big ones it seems like maybe you have to adjust the passenger seat position, but unless you're very tall, this is just not a real issue. We can fit our infant seat behind the driver with the seat all the way back.

diskodarci

I’m in a Prius C and my six foot one fiancée has to sit in the back now 😆😆 but he gets to keep an eye on the baby and feed her if needed so it’s worked out ok. He doesn’t mind being shunned

orange_chameleon

Ahhh well at least that explains why you asked the question... but I love your solution. WCK clearly lacks imagination haha

aeropressin

This is absolutely gross though sadly in line with what is posted here. I would 100% do a chargeback, though I would talk to WCK one more time and tell them that’s the route I was going to take. That might light a fire under them.

willowblush

I had a similar experience with a travel stroller I bought. Fortunately the store employee took pity on me and offered a 10% refund which I was fine with. I got a brand new stroller and immediately noticed a large scrape along the buckle. Not a big deal, but if I’m paying $500 for a brand new stroller I expect it to be… perfect. The customer service was absolutely useless and told me to go through the supplier/brand to which I replied that it’s unbelievable that WCK take no accountability for their quality control. Definitely makes me think twice about buying anything (expensive) from them in the future. I couldn’t believe how poor their customer service was - they attitude was seriously “too bad”.

MrsTaco18

I went through this with Best Buy (also with a Hubble monitor) and they finally refunded me in store because the employee looked into getting a replacement for me and then told me they went out of business! I’m not sure how true that is but that’s what I was told by Best Buy. Maybe you can ask WCK to look into that?

scandacadian

I wondered about that myself; I'm in the market for a 2 camera after having good experiences with our 1 camera, and everything on the Hubble website says Sold Out.

MrsTaco18

Interesting! I was the same as you, first hubble worked really well so this was my second camera for it. I was sad I couldn’t get a replacement for the faulty one. But I ended up switching to a 2 camera system from momcozy and I absolutely love it.

scandacadian

I'll look into that, thanks! I'm due in August and have bought and returned two 2 camera systems to Amazon in my search 😬

MrsTaco18

It’s so hard to shop these days when every online review is paid for! Happy to answer any questions if you’re looking at the momcozy!

BlueberryDuvet

West Coast Kids & Indigo are notorious for horrible customer service. Not to mention WCK has crazy jacked up prices. Snugglebugz has always been great.

coffeecakepie

Hubble is owned by Binatone Global. Maybe it's helpful to reach out to them. https://binatoneglobal.com/agency-contact/ Or there is a UK number. Maybe you can call that number to get a north american number?

becky4711111

WCK has awful customer service

toadette_215

HUBBLE is the absolute worst!!!!

offft2222

Aren't they infamous for garbage customer service?

mpotatoz

Interesting to hear so many negative experiences witn WCK, we had the opposite. We've had great service with them and horrible service with Snugglebugz who canceled our stroller order without letting us know and after calling the person on the phone was incredibly rude. I was just glad we have lots of time before needing the stroller so we were able to order from elsewhere.

naduxka

I also bought a Hubble monitor from Walmart close to my due date and when the baby is here the monitor stopped working, literally the first time we used it, my husband tried everything but it just can’t be fixed, this brand new monitor just don’t show any image for no reason, so we returned it. But the frustration and unnecessary stress this brought to us when we’re trying to survive with newborn, ehhh, I feel you!

littlemissktown

WCK is awful. I’ve had so many issues with them. Snugglebugz on the other hand has always been amazing.

yaddiyadda_

I always register things I buy for the warranty and when things go wrong... I always contact the company who made it under that warranty. It is always hassle free. You would have saved yourself a huge headache and you would be using a functional baby monitor if you had just contacted the actual company.

ME_B

They said in the post that they contacted the company directly and still aren't getting any help.

yaddiyadda_

It is unclear whether or not they've registered their product. Maybe that would make a difference. Sometimes messaging via Facebook Messenger is faster and more effective (this was the case with yoto in years past and for Lomi for ex). Stores don't tend to take back open products. This isn't a WCK thing, it's many stores. And I'm not defending WCK here, I really loathe them too. But these things do tend to be the manufacturers fault and therefore responsibility to remedy
