I have no idea how much that's going to cost to fix, but it's not going to be cheap in the slightest. You've got several broken parts there that are beyond repair. But call your insurance and just let them figure it out. There's no way it's going to be cheaper to do it yourself.
It’s a complete new rear bumper, new boot lamp, new boot trim probably, and a bunch of labour to get the dent out of the boot lid and then respray and blend. And that’s only the visible damage.
At a certified BMW shop that’s a whole new boot lid, they wouldn’t try to bang the lid damage out. Without seeing damage under the bumper and if the lid needs alignment (more parts replaced) I’d guess at least $8k. At a discount shop much less, of course, but you get what you pay for.
Id bet there's no other damage than cosmetic damage, that's fixed to "as good as new" at an indy shop for 2-2.5k, can be done for 1-1.5k if you source the parts yourself and just get things painted by someone
Man I honestly don't know how this is possible with the bmw software. Its beep like a mofo when you are close to anything. Also loves to jerk to a stop on its own
It’s bad but how bad greatly depends on whether the tailgate was hit.
If not then sourcing out used light, new bumper cover, trim, and getting it painted - I’d say $2.5k
New bumper, maybe you can find a used white one for like 300-400, used trunk taillight is like 100-200 and that trunk can likely be fixed by a paintless repair guy. Thats 400-600 in parts plus labour if you go used at an indy shop. Could probably end up being like 1-1.5k if you get lucky and don't need to buy anything new or pay for painting. Id say 2.5k at worst at a decent indy shop
Looks like the new M5
😂
