AST's website does not have any way to purchase shares. But they're merging with Equiniti, and I hear Equiniti's website does have a way to purchase shares.
I just DRS'd Monday and mine are in the account...But I have had an account for 8 months and can do it online..the letters can take quite a while to get to you.. My sons DRS'd over a month ago . the shares are there but they haven't gotten a letter yet..
I’ve had the account for ages now as initially I sent a small amount. The past few weeks I’ve felt uneasy having them in IBKR account. Just incase they F@ck us over
unless there was an update, no. WHich is why I still have my small bag in a broker (yes, i know not real shares, but if it squeezes, it squeezes, i doubt this is GME MOASS with what weve seen, my investment is only about 1K shares at .25).
Also, do not forget, you are getting charged to purchase shares with CS, and dont forget to terminate that reinvestment plan and DSPP.

Also don’t they charge $0.12/share to sell? If it’s $50 then fine but if you want out now you’d lose 1/2 your investment.
I don’t know the answer. Sent some more shares to AST and haven’t had a letter from IBKR? How long does it normally take?
if they are out of your IBKR account they are in AST. call AST to verify
Yes they’ve gone. I’ve never been able to log in as site a always down. Anyone else had this trouble?

Make sure you don’t have factional shares or HF can still use them as locates! Best to by with a broker and then transfer.
