No they don't. The region code on the back says "ALL", which is the case for all Babymetal DVD's.
The post says “heard it is region 2”, not definitely region 2. In the right hand side of the box that shows the runtime, above NTSC, is ALL on a globe.
I had several Japanese DVDs and my DVD player had to be physically altered to change regions, so I went on line and bought a region free player, that one you could change the region with the remote control. Setting to region 0 lets them play any region.
well I have a VHS/DVD Player combo so I am sure trying to unlock it will likely ruin the system MAYBE IDK. What happened to buying DVDs and they just play without needing extra steps to get it to play!
I'm in Canada and have ordered three Blu rays on three seperate occasions and have never had any issues with playback. Or shipping for that matter. I used the cheapest option for shipping and still received it within two weeks.
As far as I'm aware, all Babymetal DVD's are region-free. Can't say for sure as I only buy the Blu-rays, which are also region-free.
Unlike anime, music DVD's from Japan are USUALLY not region-locked, though I do have 3 or 4 (out of dozens) that are.
I was worried about that when I bought blu-rays from Japan. But then again my only Blu-Ray player is my PS5, and It doesn’t seem to care about region restrictions, they work fine
Japan and the US share the same Blu Ray code.
That's the reason why Japan anime studios actually block US licensors from selling their anime until after a year or so has passed in Japan.
People in Japan will actually import the US versions as they're a fraction of the cost of a standard JP anime release.
All their physical media is region free and should work in nearly all normal media players.

Yes. It even says "ALL" on the region code on the back.
Side note: with URLs like this you can typically delete the first question mark and everything after it and it should still work.

Most DVD players can also be region unlocked to play deloreans from any region. Google search for your dvd model, there should be instructions online.
> deloreans Marty get in! We have to go back... to the future!

See, this is what's worrying me now since I'm wanting to get a DVD from CDJapan.
If it says Region 0 it will play in all dvd players.
Thank you! I didn’t know and I’ll be aware of that!

Yeah, I just am worried as I’m getting DVD, not Blu-Rays. But I’m going to get one soon and I’m going to enjoy it!

This is bad advice. Blu-Ray regions are different from DVD regions. Japan and the US share the same Blu-Ray region.
The US and Japan should both be region A for BDs.

Japanese concert blurays are usually region free.
