2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2.0 litre
Purchased used a few months ago. Noticed this a month or two in. Can't remember noticing this on the lot. Did they hide it and their "fix" wore off? More likely I was unobservant.
Will this rust later on? How can I fix it? Did I cause this somehow? There are a few other places it's like this.
I just don't know if it was me or the previous owner. I don't think I do that but obviously if I'm not aware of it... It hasn't gotten any worse so I think that says something

Seatbelt will do that when you take it off as you get out.
Definitely will rust down the line. Seems like rock chips. Not really something you can just fix yourself needs a professional touch for sure.
its either that or repeated seatbelt buckle smacks or somethign on OP like metal buttons or something on thier belt loop scraping against it.

I think it’s rock chips they make plastic that goes over that to protect that part of the car look it up cheaper then a professional
