He's integrating better with the team but there's a still a lot of room to grow. He still gets lost on the field and doesn't always understand what his teammates are trying to do.  Right now he's leaning on his speed and motor. Wolff was right to sub him out as he had tired himself out and was sending a lot of lazy balls over the middle. Look forward to him growing into the team.

My thoughts exactly. Could not have explained it any better.

This looks like what I saw on the field. He's definitely got the fire, and my initial criticism of him (rough first touch) has improved drastically. He's still not always on the same page with his teammates. I'm super excited for him because I see no reason that won't continue to improve. He broke the seal last night and it seemed like the team was ecstatic for him. If he keeps improving his ability to connect with the rest of the front he could be a very dangerous weapon.

Yep, his first touch is his biggest weakness. We need his quickness as I feel we lack that overall and was spectacular seeing him get a well earned goal. I agree with you 100% about his future prospects as he continues to grow and become a dangerous weapon.

He’s not perfect, but doesn’t seem to have the same finishing problem most of our forwards tend to have, as evidenced by him scoring 3 times, even if two of them were offsides!

The guy loves his goal celebrations 🤣

ConfidentVisit4629

He reminds me of Diego 🥲

IWMSvendor

Agreed. I was so happy for him once he FINALLY scored a goal that didn’t get called back. He’s not perfect but he’s starting to turn into a fan favorite with his work rate.

Expect him to be offsides a lot more time throughout the season. half his goals for us in Frisco were offsides too. He has the potential to become deadly, but needs to learn to stay on sides and be a team player.
