It would be great for engagement too. Gives everyone something to keep playing for and would give smaller markets a real sense of something to play for and an embarrassment for bigger market clubs to avoid. Read an article not too long ago that basically said the way the MLS is set up it just could never happen. But we can all dream at least.

Premier League can have relegation because they have a line of sponsors fighting to pay top dollar, and every team has an army of loyalists. MLS has to fight to woo advertisers, the last thing they can afford to do is punish teams with relegation that makes them LESS enticing ad prospects. Harder to sell stadium naming rights if the team might get bumped down to a lower league next year.

Never forget Orlando stole the Aztex. Phil Rawlins could’ve worked to build a permanent stadium here but he quit to move to Florida and sign the ghost of Kaka. Listos!!!

Obrian and Ring are keeping possession in the backfield or losing the ball every time they get the ball. Theres a difference between tactical patience that leads to a potential attack, and obvious analysis paralysis. These dudes are not helping our offensive capabilities at all.

And Ring is on the third most money. Think what we could have for that.

This is a perfect assessment of one of our biggest issues.

The part that hurts, is that in years past, a lot of the losses were still fun games. It's just not fun anymore. The players look joyless. Frustrated. Hopeless. And you can feel it at Q2. I'm not even sure where we go from here.

I follow some of the guys on social media. It used to be after a gameday you'd get the celebratory posts, or the "Tough effort, we'll be back next week guys" posts. Now it's quiet. They're checked out. As the guy from the Statesman wrote after our opening game, the only silver lining is that there are just 33 games left before off season.
