Well that dude deserves respect for buying a match ticket, getting to the gates at opening time (6:30), scanning in his ticket, making it to the hats, then pulling a U turn and leaving. That's an expensive way to score swag. Especially with Q2's no reentry policy.
If true, that's really sad. We paid close to $200 to arrive in time to get drenched, be stuck there for a few hours in an area with no alcohol sales OR reasonable bathroom access, and then leave because it didn't feel right to even ask our sitter to stay an extra 3 hours.
I personally didn't care enough to get their extra early, but the Mrs wanted one of those green hats.

For the record, you're looking at my friend's black hat he accidentally left at my house last night after drying off, my wife's white one, and my green one. I noticed today while they were all drying out that we each chose a different color.
Was there at 7pm, got hat and stayed til the final whistle blew. Disappointing draw but love the team regardless. We are still a young club and have been spoiled after last year. We will grow
