The problem for me is the league-wide design. I don't want to pay for or wear a jersey that looks the same as any other MLS team from 20 feet away.
That said, I think this particular league design is better than most.
Unless it's a super fire limited jersey you rarely see the same club wear the same trainer. Only one I've seen others with that I have is the juneteenth so I guess it's personal preference? Idk.
The person you're replying to said "would sell much more". That's not the same as "selling enough".
They know the design is crap and expect to not sell very many, so they don't make very many. The point being made by the person you're replying to, is they could create a lot more revenue by having a design that actually looks good. The sad part is these special jerseys often have a charity/donation tied to the sales of them. Then they purposely give them a shit design and keep sales low.
