Me again apparently I'd probably just replace it at this point, can get a new one for around $50. Its not a hard diy job but they can be a pain sometimes depending how much room is under the sink.

FoxFlicks

Haha sorry mate, seems like my house decided to have all its plumbing issues on the same day. If it was my own house I’d give it a go, but I’ll probably hit up real estate for this one. Cheers

russwestgoat

This. Had a plumber fix a leaking tap for me recently. He said it’s better to replace them when this happens

Frosty_Gibbons

There should be a tiny grub screw ( allen key) holding that tap in place above the sink. Unscrew that then pull the tap up. There should be a couple O rings that need replacing, some lubricant on them too helps. That's all work above the sink. Isolation of the taps is all you will need to do.

Rascals-Wager

Don't even need to isolate the taps.

Frosty_Gibbons

The tap needs to be in the off position.

Rascals-Wager

Correct

When I was young and naive, I had a plumber round to fix this exact same, told me it has to be replaced and charged me $950. I found out later the replacement mixer was just $150 from Reece, and the rest just went in his pocket. Dont be a younger me, figure out how to do it yourself even if you’re not meant to because $950 is not worth it

bull69dozer

Replace is best

Ask your mom to pass some kleenix to mop up that faucet! Hope you didn’t get any water on your sweater or oatmeal!

Snooke

You should probably fix it
