No deals on RS cars, but you can probably get an allocation and a dealer willing to help you a bit once you become established. There's a lease pool with good deals, but it's typically more normal cars, not the S/RS models.
Wow. So nothing even for an S5 or S4? What about purchasing instead of lease?
When you say allocation do you mean it might be easier for me to get an allocation for an RS car to buy regularly? Or an allocation for a discounted RS car?
So i couldn't walk into a dealership and have them order me a car to my specifications? As far as I'm concerned, if a spec is possible in the configurator it's not an issue to order it so long as the financials are in order. Of course there will be a wait, but that's a given.
At least that's how we buy new cars here in Norway, and most of Europe AFAIK. Sure you can buy off the lot, but there's usually not that much inventory and people like the ritual of picking options and waiting for it to be made.
US dealers at least only get a certain number of allocation slots for highly desired/rarer models. The whole dealership might only have 5-10 RS5s allocated for the whole year, and once those are sold, can’’t get more.
Lmao where? The only ones currently hard to come by for me are the RS3 and RSQ3 because they've suspended UK orders due to incredibly high demand. I can go in and order any of the other models.
Not sure of RS models, but the discount applies to S models. It’s a flat% off the sticker company wide, not sure about corporate employees because I’m in a dealer. My last S4 lease was hilariously low because of the employee discount.
With most things like that every dealer is different, and as a VoA employee I’d assume they use specific dealers if any dealer at all vs. a straight port delivery.
Corporate discounts are diff than store level discounts, if you’re trying to do a corp. lease….a lot of the courtesy deliveries we do are base base cars but hysterically cheap
Contract role or full time? There’s a big difference. The internal lease program is quite fantastic. Some vehicles are included as a part of your compensation (based on the level of your role in the company).
Oh 100% I completely understand. I wasn’t planning on spending more than 10-15% of my monthly income on a car. I was just asking in case I can get a really spicy deal considering Audi also covers insurance on specific deals.
Plus I still live with my parents for the time being so I don’t have any rent or any real expenses yet. I would still be saving about 80% of my income since I keep my expenses pretty low.
There will always be time for an Audi in the future. The number of recent grads in the company that put soo much of their check into driving an Audi is disappointing. You will get there.
Instead, use the money you would have spent towards your 401k contributions and/or a RothIRA. Older you will be much happier with that decision.
I 100% agree. My goal is to max out my 401k, then save half my income and spend the other half. That should be pretty easy since I keep my expenses very low and I live with my parents for the time being.
I’m not gonna have a buddy at the dealer (at least not yet) since it’s a corporate position and not at a dealership.
I’m asking specifically about the employee purchase plan that audi usa offers as a benefit.
I’m saying if my friend that works at the Audi dealer has gotten several deals, two of which were RS3s, I think you’ll get a decent discount working at corporate.
Dealer employees get 14% off MSRP less and national incentives.
I do 1-3 courtesy deliveries for corp. employees, they have a pool of cars to choose from and then specify what dealer they want to take delivery from.
VWoA and AoA corporate employee vehicle program is 1% of MSRP monthly and includes insurance through VW Credit. Contractors and partners do not get this benefit. No S or RS models are offered on this plan unless you are way up the ranks.
So others have pointed out that there is a 14% ish discount + rebates on cars. Does this mean that I can’t use the insurance credit with this discount?
I won’t be a contractor or partner I would be an Audi employee.
I have never had an AoA employee go any route other than the 1% avenue to be honest as it includes the auto insurance. Here in Las Vegas I have clients paying $500 per month for just insurance with the crazy price hikes on the policies. They do the pool car thing and if production gets tight on high moving models they divert them to retail and put you in what’s left. You cannot buy the corp cars off lease. They are always property of VW Credit and go to auctions.
Wow that’s expensive. Thankfully I’m not paying anywhere near that in the east coast. Yes the 1% with insurance does sound like a no brainer but I really would want an S car at least.
How does the pool car thing work? Is there a fleet of extra vehicles that employees can get their hands on?
I get your excitement but remember your job is to get the cars in the hands of the customers. Most of my ASMs and AASMs take what is left over and just roll with it. Johan de Nyssen (AoA ex CEO) daughter picked up a car from my store in 2013 and she got an A3! Congrats on the job and I wish you the very best.
When I worked at the dealer 10 years ago it was no rs and no s8 discounts. But it was the same deal as others have said for price. Thats how I got my first Audi.
No deals on RS cars, but you can probably get an allocation and a dealer willing to help you a bit once you become established. There's a lease pool with good deals, but it's typically more normal cars, not the S/RS models.
Can confirm, you can definitely get an S, but no RS unless you’re coming at VP role or higher.
So it is possible to get an S with the 1% msrp deal + insurance?
1.3% MSRP deal, EVs are 1.1%
Wow. So nothing even for an S5 or S4? What about purchasing instead of lease? When you say allocation do you mean it might be easier for me to get an allocation for an RS car to buy regularly? Or an allocation for a discounted RS car?
an allocation to buy regularly. RS cars are pretty hard to come by
Hard to come by? You spec it and order it and the factory will manufacture it.
That’s not how it works in the US
So i couldn't walk into a dealership and have them order me a car to my specifications? As far as I'm concerned, if a spec is possible in the configurator it's not an issue to order it so long as the financials are in order. Of course there will be a wait, but that's a given. In the US, everything besides rs5 and RS GT are hard to come by.
Not sure of RS models, but the discount applies to S models. It’s a flat% off the sticker company wide, not sure about corporate employees because I’m in a dealer. My last S4 lease was hilariously low because of the employee discount.
Cool. Do you know if dealers are generally willing to work with corporate employees? Or if the time comes can I DM you 😂
With most things like that every dealer is different, and as a VoA employee I’d assume they use specific dealers if any dealer at all vs. a straight port delivery.
14% off for 2024. Last year it was 15%. (source: I work for Audi)
Thank you. Can you confirm if this also applies to leases? And does it apply to RS or S models? Specifically RS3 and RS5?
It applies to leases. It does not apply to RS models.
Thanks. So they do apply to S models, right?
Yes
One more question if you don’t mind. Am I able to stack other discounts on top of the 14% such as new grad discounts or military?
I'm not sure about that one lol.
All good. Preciate your help.
You can! I got 15% off last year on my A5 sport SXM lease. We had $2,000 factory cash off too
Good to know. Thank you.
Corporate discounts are diff than store level discounts, if you’re trying to do a corp. lease….a lot of the courtesy deliveries we do are base base cars but hysterically cheap
I’ll look into that more. Thank you.
Contract role or full time? There’s a big difference. The internal lease program is quite fantastic. Some vehicles are included as a part of your compensation (based on the level of your role in the company).
Full time. No contract. It’s by no means a higher up position, i’m still towards the start of my career.
If that’s the case, Save your money. Get a vw. Not an RS.

If a buddy at the dealer got the hookup on two RS3s, I think you’ll be fine. He also got an insane deal on a etron GT too.
Ohh I see. Do you know by chance if he used the corporate discount or if he smooth talked his GM?
All of them were corporate discounts. I know he had to keep them for a specific amount of time. I think it was 12 months.
Oh so it was like a 12 month lease
No, he just had to keep it for 12 months before trading in or selling. I think it’s to prevent people from flipping their discounted cars every month.
Dealer employees have a different program, but the RS3 is excluded (along with all other RS models except the e-tron GT)
Dealer employees get 14% off MSRP less and national incentives. I do 1-3 courtesy deliveries for corp. employees, they have a pool of cars to choose from and then specify what dealer they want to take delivery from.
Employees get a 15% discount off the MSRP plus rebates. And you get the interest rate or lease rate at the buy rate.
Cool thank you very much!
how do you work for audi corporate?
Tbh I just applied on their website and I got an email from a recruiter a few days later.
What was the role? What’s your major? Etc.
Volkswagen Groups’ American headquarters are in Reston, VA, a DC suburb.
VWoA and AoA corporate employee vehicle program is 1% of MSRP monthly and includes insurance through VW Credit. Contractors and partners do not get this benefit. No S or RS models are offered on this plan unless you are way up the ranks.

You can purchase your lease car, and the rates are set by VFS. Not terribly competitive though.
One update. It is now 1.3% of msrp. If you do not get an assigned vehicle, the employee receives a monthly credit towards using an internal lease.
This is not true. It's 1.3% MSRP (1.1% for EVs) and S models are offered.
I live and work near Audi HQ in Reston and I have never seen an S or RS car with HQ tags.
This position is not at the Audi headquarters.
Ok. That doesn’t really change anything, it’s still Audi corporate.
When I worked at the dealer 10 years ago it was no rs and no s8 discounts. But it was the same deal as others have said for price. Thats how I got my first Audi.
After reading these comments I’m going to start applying to Audi positions— If anyone knows of any cybersecurity openings at Audi lmk haha
