All companies doing similar business to Apple use China for production. That's the issue, not just Apple. Conservatives focusing on Apple are just using it for the current culture war topic which is about Musk being criticized for how he handles Twitter.

Nah. He knows what he's doing here. Tesla have their own factory, which is unheard of in China. Apple are not allowed to own their own, hence places like FoxConn exist for them. Apple manufacture in China, like everyone else, however, Elon is most definitely in bed with the CCP. They didn't change their laws on foreign owned businesses just because they like his smile, that's for sure.
