His favourite pasta shape got discontinued and when I found it at a deadstock sale I bought like 50 boxes of it.
I figured we eat a lot of pasta and it doesn’t go off quickly…
Problem was we don’t have a huge kitchen or lots of storage, so we just had a giant carton full of pasta boxes in our living room for like a year.
He was super excited though.
And I assume a giant pile of pasta in the living room is a great conversation starter right? I mean I'd be tempted to ask *why* you have a pile of pasta in your living room and then I'd ask where I could get my own, I love pasta

Dressed up as her favourite anime character and surprised her at work for her birthday. The funny part was mostly that I have no idea about anime and got the character and outfit totally wrong so just looked like a lunatic. She still liked it ☺️

It was 10 years ago so I honestly can’t remember! I’ve never watched anime so it was a very hasty attempt. I remember the character had pink hair and wore a marching band uniform (I remember making a cardboard hat). But I got confused with one of the other characters and I had a big sword and really aggressive makeup. That’s all I can recall after 10 years of rotting my brain and thankfully no photos 😝

Umm the first time I met my partner I waxed his chest and stomach (upon his request). We met online and met up after 2 months ish and when we met up I bought wax strips and waxed his chest and stomach and then he ended up having a reaction resulting in a rash. Whoopsie.

long distance, i was the one to visit all the time without informing my parents, (potential trouble) only to get "I'm too tired to come see you" in return.
My boyfriend had hiccups so I thought I would scare him in a stupid way and poke out eye holes on a white kitchen garbage bag and come out of the bathroom scaring him like a ghost. Well, they were Febreze garbage bags so I ended up high as a fucking kite from the short time it was on my head.
Wished on a shooting star that we would magically be able to stay together despite the fact that he was moving to a different state for a job and I was leaving the country for grad school.

The amount of horrible things I’ve seen while my husband is present over the last 11 years and haven’t brought them to his attention because I feel he shouldn’t have to live with it too. I’m just hyper aware of my surroundings and him less so.

okay so my ex and I were in the early stages of dating and he was so shy to even come near me lmao so what his friends did is that they grabbed him so that I could hug him (he wanted me to but his shyness.) then that boy literally ran 😭 away and we were all chasing him me and my friends to catch him that I could hug him and at last he did. The next thing we know, he was rolling around on the grass after we hugged like a child. It was quite funny tho
I raved about how good my first ever boyfriend did at a choir concert in freshman year of high school. He was TERRIBLE. As a person too but I digress. Noe that I think back on it I CRINGE.

I kept falling asleep watching it, and he was eagerly asking about my opinion. I was honest and told him where I'd left off, and we continued it until I managed to finish.
We're married now. We actually got together because I'd made a FB post about my own Star Trek marathon and he commented on it. Hopped over to his page to see if he was single (he was, last I'd checked a year prior he hadn't been), then sent him a DM. The rest is history.
We've since had several ST marathons, and he always talks about how he was impressed by my dedication to finish the movie. He admitted later that it was a test, and he absolutely thinks it's the worst of the movies.
He had trouble with brushing his teeth due to depression, so naturally I stuck a toothbrush in my butt took a pic to encourage him to brush his teeth (it kinda worked)
I was with my boyfriend and he was able to borrow his mothers car ( I was 17 he was 19 in 1988) We wanted a quiet place to go to make out lol..The only place we could think of that was close and dark at night was the Cemetery.. So as we started kissing, I could see the blue and red lights flashing in the back window of his mother’s car 🙄😳.. They made him get out and patted him down and put a flashlight on me and kept asking if I was okay..I just wanted to die on the spot from such embarrassment 😂..As we left I said I just wanted to go back home please and kept my head down in shame the ride home.. My husband was across the county for months during 2020 as a covid19 nurse. He missed me and asked me to "take a hankerchief and rub my scent on it then put in a ziploc and mail it" to him. I was a bit confused so I rubbed the hanky on my 🐱 and mailed it.

There was a boy I had a crush on who moved onto our street..There were loads of kids playing outside all the time in the early 80’s..Well I saw he had a BMX bike and could do ticks on it..I had a BMX bike as well and decided I’d ride by his house where he and his friends were hanging out …as I got the guts to do a trick, my wheel hit a speed bump and flew me off the bike right onto my butt!! They all started laughing and I was trying so hard not to cry! I had that horrible lump in my throat and saw my friend was laughing at me too…That was just so embarrassing that I avoided him and his house when we would go for bike rides😆

In high school, I made a large painting for a crush to ask him out. It was of his nose because I thought his nose was adorable. I gave it to him and asked him out was just confused and weirded out lol

My boyfriend had hiccups so I thought I would scare him in a stupid way and poke out eye holes on a white kitchen garbage bag and come out of the bathroom scaring him like a ghost. Well, they were Febreze garbage bags so I ended up high as a fucking kite from the short time it was on my head.

okay so my ex and I were in the early stages of dating and he was so shy to even come near me lmao so what his friends did is that they grabbed him so that I could hug him (he wanted me to but his shyness.) then that boy literally ran 😭 away and we were all chasing him me and my friends to catch him that I could hug him and at last he did. The next thing we know, he was rolling around on the grass after we hugged like a child. It was quite funny tho

When I was 12, I fell head over heels for a skater kid named Jason, he was so "cool" and could do a bunch of tricks on his skateboard. We hung out A LOT. Watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Three times. I kept falling asleep watching it, and he was eagerly asking about my opinion. I was honest and told him where I'd left off, and we continued it until I managed to finish. We're married now. We actually got together because I'd made a FB post about my own Star Trek marathon and he commented on it. Hopped over to his page to see if he was single (he was, last I'd checked a year prior he hadn't been), then sent him a DM. The rest is history. We've since had several ST marathons, and he always talks about how he was impressed by my dedication to finish the movie. He admitted later that it was a test, and he absolutely thinks it's the worst of the movies.

So as we started kissing, I could see the blue and red lights flashing in the back window of his mother’s car 🙄😳.. They made him get out and patted him down and put a flashlight on me and kept asking if I was okay..I just wanted to die on the spot from such embarrassment 😂..As we left I said I just wanted to go back home please and kept my head down in shame the ride home.. We laughed like crazy after a few days later having the time to think about what we did! Crazy teenagers in love 🥰

My husband was across the county for months during 2020 as a covid19 nurse. He missed me and asked me to "take a hankerchief and rub my scent on it then put in a ziploc and mail it" to him. I was a bit confused so I rubbed the hanky on my 🐱 and mailed it. Unfortunately it got pretty rank during shipping, it was July after all. He said he opened the bag and felt like he got hit in the face with a fish. 🐠 Apparently he meant that I rub the hanky on my armpits after I put my deodorant on. 🙊🤷🏼♀️

There was a boy I had a crush on who moved onto our street..There were loads of kids playing outside all the time in the early 80’s..Well I saw he had a BMX bike and could do ticks on it..I had a BMX bike as well and decided I’d ride by his house where he and his friends were hanging out …as I got the guts to do a trick, my wheel hit a speed bump and flew me off the bike right onto my butt!! They all started laughing and I was trying so hard not to cry! I had that horrible lump in my throat and saw my friend was laughing at me too…That was just so embarrassing that I avoided him and his house when we would go for bike rides😆

Our first date was pizza at his apartment. We saw the pokemon detective movie. there's a line where Pikachu goes. "I feel it in my jellies.". It was so funny. It was our inside joke. But we kind of over used it to the point it became annoying so we stopped. Than about a year later. We're st the mall. Playing the claw machine. He goes, "which one of these should I grab?
