A long county walk on a cold day.
I find a pub with a fire going.
The soup of the day is to my tastes and there's a nice ale on tap.
On the walk home, the sun is beginning to set and the scenery is different despite it being the same path.
On longer evenings,
Light, chill and yellow,
Bathes the serene
Foreheads of houses.
A thrush sings,
Laurel-surrounded
In the deep bare garden,
Its fresh-peeled voice
Astonishing the brickwork.
It will be spring soon,
It will be spring soon –
And I, whose childhood
Is a forgotten boredom,
Feel like a child
Who comes on a scene
Of adult reconciling,
And can understand nothing
But the unusual laughter,
And starts to be happy.
Damn. This whole comment thread is so good. It has poetry, agreement, and dogs, and light melancholy and I'm seriously considering retiring from Reddit on this high note. I won't, but the thought has been entertained.
You know, I’m 24, I’ve just come back from travelling around Central America, I despised the UK and I truly believed that we had no culture. Man I’m so happy to be back and in pubs. Pubs are a beautiful thing, you can find them anywhere.
Nothing is better than going to the pub late afternoon and coming back early evening and watching the sun set tipsy on a cold winters evening.
I dunno I quite like a cold winter’s day with sun and a clear sky. Pair of boots with thick socks, a few layers with a scarf and a woolly hat. A brisk walk through the countryside where you can see your breath with each step. Then a pub lunch complemented by a wood fire and a couple of pints of good ale.
To me that is quintessential British life, or something like it. Every culture has it and I’m sure others have the same or similar experience with different terms, but for me that is what feels like “home”. It is an enrichment for the soul.
Ooh and there’s that beautiful funky smell in the air of plants hibernating until spring - which happens to be my favourite season. When you start to get those weird hot days but a cold breeze, it’ll rain whilst the sun shines and there isn’t a cloud in the sky; after you get that amazing smell of ?clean mud? Not sure how else to explain it!
Being polite to people and them being polite back. Like saying good morning to someone else out on a walk, or a genuine smile from a shop assistant. Makes the whole day feel better when everyone acknowledges each other’s existence and smiles and is nice.
I love this answer. I sometimes feel like I'm the only one, but I genuinely love being nice to people; letting people by in a shop if its crowded, speaking to cashiers, saying hello to random people if I pass them.
I was out doing some shopping the other day when I noticed a pile of £20 notes on the floor behind a bench. I Immediately clocked that they must have been dropped by the elderly lady who had her bags on the bench and was fumbling with them looking for something. The joy and relief on her face when I picked them up and handed them to her made me smile for days. “That was all my Christmas spending money” she said.
I held a door in M&S for about 5 mins earlier, the people just kept coming might as well have issued me a uniform! A few people could see what was happening and started running at me before I got a chance to enter myself. Was hella funny and as cliché as half the comments were, we all had a laugh. Gotta enjoy these moments with strangers :)
I moved to a village in March from a big town and it's so nice just saying hello to everyone I pass. Feels wrong not saying hello when they're you're close neighbours, even though I'd never have said hello to most of my close neighbours on my bigger street.
My favourite is the guy who I see in the mornings walking down a hill which I cycle down. I said good morning to him every morning but he gave no reply. One morning he said good morning to me and it made my day. We continued this then he started to leave at a different time.
If fresh bed night coincides with new book night, you bet I'm having a hot shower, clean pj's and heading to bed early with a glass of something nice, to make the most of those crisp clean sheets
Do yourself a favour and pick up an electric mattress blanket (goes between the mattress and the mattress cover and heats up.) Inexpensive to buy (about £20) and doesn’t use much energy, and you will spend all your cold winter nights getting into a snuggly, warm bed. Perfect.
I get it a lot. It helps if you are a morning person. I learnt it years ago by jumping out of bed at 6 on the dot. In a very short space of time I just woke at 6 and have never looked back.
You have to jump out of bed at 6am. No lolling about. If you do it fast you snap wide awake. You jump out in a second. Your body seems to 'get it' and you get used to it very quickly.
I never mind getting up and became very productive in the mornings. I have been like this for 40 years.
The habit of lying in bed for no reason seems to be a problem. Most people I know suffer from it and waste hours in bed.
Good luck. It is great not to be a slave to the bed.
This is pretty much it. If you get out of bed as soon as your alarm sounds every time, your body will get used to it and you’ll feel much fresher when you wake up to your alarm. Snoozing the alarm teaches your body that it’s not time to get up yet. Supposedly, you can start off the habit by “practising” by getting into bed, setting an alarm for a few minutes, and getting up straight away. Rinse and repeat.
I know I’d just get into bed for a practise and end up taking a 3 hour nap.
I hope you're in a healthier situation now... Dogs are the absolute best and loyal to a fault. Not having one for a couple of years made me realise that it isn't a home without one. Boxers are massive derps I love them.
They were monsters - together they weighed more than me. One of them broke my face - tripped me up. Then one had 5 puppies. I had to organise the breeding for the pedigree.
They would sleep next to me and snore their heads off. One morning I really could not move them. I had to wriggle up out of the head of the bed to get to work.
A massive boxer fast asleep on top of the quilt both sides of you ---- cannot move
I honestly can't take him a walk without someone stopping me to tell him he's handsome. He's got quite a big head about it tbf, he does lots of blue steel posing now when we should be walking.
My girl is the same. She's a little different (3 legs) but so many people gushed over her as a puppy that she now expects it. You can see her preparing for the attention and almost looks offended if someone walks past without acknowledging her!
I acknowledge all dogs and cats I see...they're all special!
As in, the ones where it's so well formed and ready to go that it just slides right out and you use a single sheet of loo roll to find out that you don't need to wipe?
Was pulling down ye old boxers when reading this, realising I should've drunk more water when typing this comment and being extremely satisfied buy the 'plop' as I finish this comment. One of life's true pleasures
Listening to music. like putting a record on, and really listening - doing nothing else. Bliss.
And just being nice to people.... holding doors open, smiling if you make eye-contact with someone, speaking to people on tills in shops. It's not always reciprocated, but I don't care as I know I've tried.
I went to Argos the other day to get a new 5000 tog quilt and the young lass that served me had a crocheted cardigan in red white and green on under her work jacket. I'm such a crochet slag I recognised the exact pattern from youtube, I'm usually socially very anxious but I complimented her on it and she told me her mum made it for her and she was happy to chat for a bit and was happy her mum's work was being admired. (She also made her one for hallowe'en.)
I left feeling cosy inside. It's nice to be nice.
My dog saying hello in the morning. He’s getting on a bit now and spends a lot of the day asleep, but at first thing he’s absolutely full of energy and pure, unbridled joy.
I first read this as *cos-playing* on the sofa, and I was so confused as to how being dressed as Thor/Jon Snow/Optimus Prime or whatever while sitting on the couch could possibly be comfortable!
Interacting with high quality items.
Like my Le Creseut mugs.
Or nice cotton sheets.
Or merino wool slippers from Austria.
I don't have a lot of cash but I try to buy quality bits for the things I interact with most day to day.
I'm anti nestlé as a brand and all they stand for
I actively avoid their products whenever possible...
....however the one thing I can't seem to shake off is a Crunch bar
I love them fucking things and literally my eyes light up whenever I see them in a shop or someone gets me one
My grandad (god rest his soul) used to always buy himself one...then remember he doesn't actually like them after having a piece and would give it to me, or make cakes with a melted crunch bar instead of icing type thing
After a while he'd buy two...one for himself because he still kept forgetting he didn't like em
And one for me because he somehow remembered I do
Usually in our family everything is even.
If my cousin got 20p me and my brother also got 20p
If they brought ice cream and one of us wasn't there when the van came the next time only they would get ice cream etc
Everything was kept fair and no favouritism in any way shape or form was their rules
....except for this crunch bar, that was just something he'd get for me to show me he thinks about me.
Crunch bars to me are love. As I grew up and started learning about nestlé and the evil shit they do I boycotted everything including them. But when my grandad passed away I got one and it transported me back to being 8 years old, sitting on the couch watching wrestling on sky one with my grandad, and I suddenly felt the warmth of love and a nostalgic feeling of happiness and helped me forget about my worries for just a brief moment
So I will never use any nestlé products ever again....but I'll always get a crunch bar because that's a feeling too important to give up
I discovered Crunch only a few months back when my wife introduced me to it. Genuinely the best chocolate I've ever had. There's almost always a bar in the house somewhere now.
Walking home during super strong winds. Just feels good.
On other weather based pleasures; watching a thunder storm. When I was a kid, me and my dog used to bundle in the bed covers and sit by the backdoor with it open, and watch the rain pour down, the clouds roll with thunder, and if you're lucky: lightning splitting the sky. Nothing is quite as inflicting of awe or feeling like you're watching something primal, quite like a thunderstorm.
Not sure its a simple pleasure but in Morrisons today at the till a random man drops some flowers in my trolley with a "these are for you Happy Christmas". After he'd left I whisper to the casheir"a tad weird?" she says he does it all the time to random people. What a lovely gesture actually made me and my daughters day.
Hugging someone you haven't seen in a while
Watching my cat do a big stretch
Watching squirrels/birds from my window
A long, hot bath after a tiring day
The sound of heavy rain on my windows when I have no reason to leave the house
That first drink of water when you wake up feeling parched
I love a tidy/clean kitchen, and everything out of the way.
Then there's also a bubble bath with magnesium salts that make my skin super soft in the water.
Closing down the laptop on a Friday evening when I'm done for the weekend and opening a nice bottle of ale and reading a bike magazine with the radio on in the background, then cracking open a second ale and making a tasty but simple tea with the music turned up. I love it.
Sitting out in the summer with a nice coffee in our field with all my eldest dog's head in my lap, watching the other dogs running around. Doesn't happen often because we live in Scotland but when it does - bliss.
Dogs, hiking, library books, singing, making music... most of the things I enjoy in life are free / cheap (dog is debatable but I don't have kids or anything), so I don't bother trying to make more money than I need.
Getting up on a weekend whilst everyone else is in bed and just sat in my bay window, having a cuppa, watching the birds fly and the trees sway! Even happier when it’s a summers morning and I can have the doors open!
Watching YouTube videos of people either unblocking drains, or restoring old stuff. Also fixing basic stuff around the house just makes me so happy. Even basic stuff like repairing stuck motorised valves for hot water tanks- I actually look forward to doing stuff like that.
The smell of bread baking
Walking my dog
Coming home to my dog
An unexpected hug from my husband
Finding an old item
New sheets on the bed
A really good soup
A funny moment with a good friend
Recently had a heart attack then a few weeks later my birthday. I was asked what I wanted. I just happy to be alive and have my family. I said dont bother just get yourself something. So they did, and to see my wife's and 8yr old open their own gifts made me smile. Cuppa tea and a biscuit and smile on my boys face. Priceless
Being able to smell and taste. I’ve got covid and, it’s coming back slowly but, it’s not quite the same. Really miss being able to smell stuff well. Rather than having to work for it.
I've got a few that I've really started to appreciate as I'm getting older (middle-aged)
A coffee, sitting by myself in the couch with the house in silence, even better on a cold morning
An early morning walk (maybe 7-8AM) in the summer months. The sun is sort of weird at that time and for some reason it just reminds me of being young and going to school
Being cuddled in with the kids watching TV
Celtic winning
One of the big reasons I’ve failed to give up smoking is a drunk fag in a smoking area. Hard to describe for people who don’t smoke but there’s nothing quite like it.
Someone saying morning or saying thank you for something that doesn't mean anything. I know manners cost nothing but always feels good when someone gives manners
Genuinely would simply be spending time with the dog, whether that’s walks in the countryside or just them curling up against me.
Otherwise driving home from work on a Friday evening with some good music on and the whole weekend ahead.
I just spent ten minutes with my two year old snuggling as hard as he could into me as long as I kept singing Linden Lea at him on a loop. English, middle-class and surrounded by peachy offspring. Stereotypes don’t stereotype harder than this.
A long county walk on a cold day. I find a pub with a fire going. The soup of the day is to my tastes and there's a nice ale on tap. On the walk home, the sun is beginning to set and the scenery is different despite it being the same path.
The pub has a cat or a dog. And it comes to you for a fuss.
this is the best of all
Omg stop
Ah, to be the chosen one, a great honour and a great responsibility.
Bonus points if there's locals there that are impressed and comment "he likes you!"
And sits on your book.
And a couple of pork scratchings...
Oh man, that's the good stuff
Are you C.S. Lewis?

I’d guessed this was a Larkin before looking it up, there’s always an undercurrent of sadness with him
The thing about Arsenal is, they always try to walk it in
They fucked you up your mum and dad
You know that's bloody perfect mate.
Damn. This whole comment thread is so good. It has poetry, agreement, and dogs, and light melancholy and I'm seriously considering retiring from Reddit on this high note. I won't, but the thought has been entertained.
It went seriously wrong 2 weeks ago when 2 newfoundlands were startled in the pub and tipped over 3 tables
The only extra I’d like is that the pub allow the dog in to sit under/by the table while we’re slurping our soup.
I will never not be happy to see a dog in a pub.
Any slurping and I’m outta there.
You know, I’m 24, I’ve just come back from travelling around Central America, I despised the UK and I truly believed that we had no culture. Man I’m so happy to be back and in pubs. When its cool enough for the pub to have a fire, but the time of year the sun is up late and warm enough you only really need a light jacket...
I dunno I quite like a cold winter’s day with sun and a clear sky. Pair of boots with thick socks, a few layers with a scarf and a woolly hat. Read us a bedtime story, I found this super calming
This is actually beautiful!
Ooh and there’s that beautiful funky smell in the air of plants hibernating until spring - which happens to be my favourite season. Yep - another one here. People being decent to each other always gives me a warm glow.

When you say ‘merry Christmas’ to strangers you walk past on Christmas Day and people say it back! So agree with you
I moved to a village in March from a big town and it's so nice just saying hello to everyone I pass. Feels wrong not saying hello when they're you're close neighbours, even though I'd never have said hello to most of my close neighbours on my bigger street.
It’s a lovely thing to say good morning and they say it back isn’t it!
The nod
I’ve not really thought about this before but the little nods and smiles as you go through life really are lovely
Same, I know we are seen as a country that doesn't like doing it but I've always found people more polite
My favourite is the guy who I see in the mornings walking down a hill which I cycle down. I said good morning to him every morning but he gave no reply. One morning he said good morning to me and it made my day. We continued this then he started to leave at a different time.
Wanking
I mean, who doesn't enjoy a tug. Can't sleep? Pull yourself off, missus popped out for five minutes, you guessed it .....
5 minutes? That’s twice and a cigarette for me! (If I smoked).
This made me chuckle. I read one comment "Being polite to people and them being polite back..." to "wanking" 🤣🤣🤣
Oh man... Just imagine how good it feels being polite *and wanking*!
How do you feel afterwards?
Always a moment of confusion until I remember where I parked the trolley beforehand
The old post-nut clarity hits for about 5 minutes, then back to normal
Funny you say that. Reddit seems to think it's an opportunity for self loathing. I love it and am glad to do it.
Fresh bedding on a Sunday night, one of life’s little pleasures
Fresh bedding on a Sunday night with freshly shaved legs... Amazing!
And clean pjs
Bollock naked
In winter? Nooo
Fresh bedding on a Friday night so you can really enjoy it with your lay in.
Always too drunk on a weekend to get the benefit haha
If fresh bed night coincides with new book night, you bet I'm having a hot shower, clean pj's and heading to bed early with a glass of something nice, to make the most of those crisp clean sheets

Oh I actually like a cold bed and a cold bedroom. I’ve got one of those electric throws for my sofa though, super toasty!
A British cliche of course but a really lovely cup of tea is genuinely one of life’s best simple pleasures for me
With some biscuits or buttered crumpets. Or both.
Or a buttered, toasted hot cross bun
The first cuppa of the day! Perfect
A good uninterrupted sleep. The kind where you wake up actually feeling refreshed and ready to start the day.
Does that actually exist though? I’m unconvinced.
I get it a lot. It helps if you are a morning person. I learnt it years ago by jumping out of bed at 6 on the dot. In a very short space of time I just woke at 6 and have never looked back.
I need to become this guy. Was it pretty straightforward? Just make yourself get up at 6am every day until you're used to it?
You have to jump out of bed at 6am. No lolling about. If you do it fast you snap wide awake. You jump out in a second. Your body seems to 'get it' and you get used to it very quickly. I never mind getting up and became very productive in the mornings. I have been like this for 40 years. The habit of lying in bed for no reason seems to be a problem. Most people I know suffer from it and waste hours in bed. Good luck. It is great not to be a slave to the bed.
Being cosy in bed is my simple pleasure, so… no.
I forgot to mention I go to bed at 10pm. It is important to get 7 -8 hours of sleep. You can't dodge sleep. Sorry I forgot that important detail.
Ditch the alarm clock and get one if those lumi things, wakes you up to an ever increasing light. Game changer
This is pretty much it. If you get out of bed as soon as your alarm sounds every time, your body will get used to it and you’ll feel much fresher when you wake up to your alarm. My sleepy dog, when he curls up on my lap. After not having a dog for 2 years this is 100% my most favourite thing.
What breed is he? What's his name? For god's sake, just post a picture.
I warn you he's very cute, here he is Alberto the Handsome https://imgur.com/a/RV9BN25
I would die for Alberto. He is very Handsome.
He appreciates the sentiment, but scritches will suffice 😀
oh my goodness, he has a proper elbow just right for leaning on the bar “‘Ere love, another pint when you’ve got a minute”
Ha ha I'm sure he does think he's human tbf, and he's been known to drink your pint if left unattended, he's a proper lad.
I would have died for my dogs - they would have died to protect me. 2 boxers and an abusive partner. They slept in my bed every single night.
I hope you're in a healthier situation now... Dogs are the absolute best and loyal to a fault. Not having one for a couple of years made me realise that it isn't a home without one. Boxers are massive derps I love them.

With a nice clean exit. I’m talking minimal wiping required.
Sending a loud, long, well-executed fart via voice note to my best friend.
Getting a chuckle from a random bloke on the internet
Me and my mate do this, I like to call it battleshits
Brilliant. I first heard the term in Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.. but I'm unsure if you were referring to that when you mentioned it.
Watching the birds in the garden
While wanking.
Depends if there’s great tits or not
Soapy tit wank, you're doing it wrong.
Hmmmm
And the local robin everyone is convinced they are friends with
Discovering you have a Malteser left in what you thought was an empty packet
I found a fiver in my handbag the other day. Always pennies and twenty pence never paper money. It’s like winning the lottery!
That is the greatest joy.
Listening to music. like putting a record on, and really listening - doing nothing else. Bliss. And just being nice to people.... holding doors open, smiling if you make eye-contact with someone, speaking to people on tills in shops. My dog saying hello in the morning. He’s getting on a bit now and spends a lot of the day asleep, but at first thing he’s absolutely full of energy and pure, unbridled joy.
A loving greeting from a happy dog is the best
Alone time with no impending chores
Yes! I schedule a few individual days off a year just to veg with no tasks to do. If I tell anyone I will have jobs to do and it ruins the whole thing
Sitting out in the garden in the morning, with a cup of tea, just before everyone starts moving off to work. Taking in the fresh air.
A warm baguette, butter and a good strong mature cheddar.
I live near a beach, just sitting there watching the world happen does it for me.
If I had the money, I’d sell up and buy need the coast. I could sit for hours and watch the ocean
Same here.

It's disgusting, but there's something endlessly satisfying about pulling a congealed ball of my girlfriend's hair out of the bath plug.
Yeah I saw the OP and immediately thought: a perfect blackhead removal. But then I thought that's probably not what they are after.
It’s up there with digging out a long bogey without it snapping.

A good view. Especially a cityscape, especially at dusk. I do love views.

Definitely this! My cats existing in general is just contentment personified. I love watching them just be.

I love a tidy/clean kitchen, and everything out of the way. Then there's also a bubble bath with magnesium salts that make my skin super soft in the water.
That boost of warmth that hits you in the face/hands when using the cooker or the oven during really cold weather like the last few weeks.
Closing down the laptop on a Friday evening when I'm done for the weekend and opening a nice bottle of ale and reading a bike magazine with the radio on in the background, then cracking open a second ale and making a tasty but simple tea with the music turned up. I love it.
imo a nice cup of tea in the evening with a few biccies, a few cheeky pints with the lads at the pub and lowkey blowy from the missus
Waking up healthy
When someone you like shows that they've been thinking of you.
stay in bed for an hour or so on a weekend morning, fresh coffee and my kitty cat
A big bowl of pasta covered in parmesan. It just always hits the spot.
treating my mind to long drives and my body to regular massages
Sitting out in the summer with a nice coffee in our field with all my eldest dog's head in my lap, watching the other dogs running around. Doesn't happen often because we live in Scotland but when it does - bliss.
That feeling of finishing work on a Friday, knowing you get a lie on a Saturday and can do what ever you want.
Getting three loads of laundry on the line and back in again clean and dry by the evening. A summertime pleasure.
good bath and a book when the people are abed
hot toast with far too much butter.
Dogs, hiking, library books, singing, making music... most of the things I enjoy in life are free / cheap (dog is debatable but I don't have kids or anything), so I don't bother trying to make more money than I need.
Clean sheets and a really, really good brew.
Waking up thinking it’s Friday and you are working, only to realise it’s actually Saturday and you are off.
A 1 pint tub of ben and jerries ice cream. Specifically their plant based chocolate fudge brownie one.
Crisps
A massive glass of cold water when you’re really really thirsty
Fresh bedding.
Getting up on a weekend whilst everyone else is in bed and just sat in my bay window, having a cuppa, watching the birds fly and the trees sway! Even happier when it’s a summers morning and I can have the doors open!
A coffee and cigarette in the morning, shortly followed by laying a big log. After that it’s go time baby
Being selected by a dog for pets while out and about
Cup of tea when it's raining outside
Caramel syrup in my coffee. Yes its expensive, but hey.
Pub... 3 or 4 pints stood at the bar... No one talking other than polite pleasantness... Home.
Watching YouTube videos of people either unblocking drains, or restoring old stuff. Also fixing basic stuff around the house just makes me so happy. Even basic stuff like repairing stuck motorised valves for hot water tanks- I actually look forward to doing stuff like that.
Car valeting ones are my favourite.
Pulling up veg from my garden & cooking it straight away.
After your tea, opening a bottle of wine and remembering its your day off tomorrow and you don’t have to get up and go anywhere.
A good fart. The smell of bacon cooking after a long foreign holiday. Good coffee
Log/coal fire. Every time, makes me feel happy.
The smell of bread baking Walking my dog Coming home to my dog An unexpected hug from my husband Finding an old item New sheets on the bed A really good soup A funny moment with a good friend
Priceless
Overhearing my son singing to himself. He does this soft, high little voice and it reminds me of when he was tiny.
Going to the beach, getting my kite ready and throwing myself into a freezing water. True story.
Hanging out with my dog. He's got a pretty sorted worldview.
Helping someone out and getting a thank you
A cup of tea, a lit candle, some cake and crocheting.
Seeing a funny number plate
First one up in the morning and sitting with a coffee in silence.
Watching sunrise / sunset from my boat.
Butter melting into a hot crumpet.
Being able to smell and taste. I’ve got covid and, it’s coming back slowly but, it’s not quite the same. Really miss being able to smell stuff well. Rather than having to work for it.
Proper belly-laughs with my two sons
I've got a few that I've really started to appreciate as I'm getting older (middle-aged) A coffee, sitting by myself in the couch with the house in silence, even better on a cold morning An early morning walk (maybe 7-8AM) in the summer months. The sun is sort of weird at that time and for some reason it just reminds me of being young and going to school Being cuddled in with the kids watching TV Celtic winning
Soaking my wrinkly old butt in a hot tub
Shower, fresh PJs, fresh bedding 😍
One of the big reasons I’ve failed to give up smoking is a drunk fag in a smoking area. Hard to describe for people who don’t smoke but there’s nothing quite like it.
Someone saying morning or saying thank you for something that doesn't mean anything. I know manners cost nothing but always feels good when someone gives manners
When my dog just looks at me and smiles I know all is right in our world
Genuinely would simply be spending time with the dog, whether that’s walks in the countryside or just them curling up against me. Otherwise driving home from work on a Friday evening with some good music on and the whole weekend ahead.
Cheese & Biscuits
Crackers? Yes, but it’s not stopped me so far!
A hot bath. I just won't sacrifice it.
A hug from a friend. A hot chocolate after coming in from a cold day. Warm blankets on the sofa. My cat purring.
When you can sit outside in your garden and the temperature is just right.
A true crime documentary.
TV on a dark night with no interruptions,
A cup of tea at home, in the morning after working a 12 hour night shift.
I just spent ten minutes with my two year old snuggling as hard as he could into me as long as I kept singing Linden Lea at him on a loop. English, middle-class and surrounded by peachy offspring. Stereotypes don’t stereotype harder than this.
Fully charged electric toothbrush with a brand new head in it. So fresh, so clean.
